Vliv pravidelné pohybové aktivity na sebepojetí u žen / The Influence of regular physical activity on self concept of women

Polášková, Michaela January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to study physical self-evaluation and generalized self-efficacy within the self-concept of women. This is put in context with their regular physical exercise. a number of other variables are being examined to add the complexity to the topic of self-concept and sports. Among them there are Body Mass Index (BMI), subjective self- confidence, level of professional involvement in particular sport activity and whether the woman has children. The theoretical part of this work looks at the self-concept paradigm focusing on the physical self-concept of women and self-efficacy in sports. Furthermore it examines how the physical exercise is related to the mind. In the empirical part of the thesis physical self-evaluation of women was researched in context with the type of exercise they had been doing. This was examined in quantitative analysis of a group of 100 women who did sports. Idea vyvoleného národa v pozdním středověku / The Idea of "The Chosen Nation" in Late Middle Ages

Hartmann, Zdeněk January 2012 (has links)
This thesis examines the thought of Joan of Arc for categories of identity paving the way to modern nationalism. The underlying model for this undertaking is Ernst Kantorowicz's theory of the increasing depersonalization or abstractness of power. With this model as a guide, this thesis proposes a set of categories of identity on which the process of change put forward by Kantorowicz can be tracked. The thesis then classifies, against this backdrop, the individual categories as either progressive, i. e. abstract, or concrete, i. e. dependent on the older ideas of power and kingship, arguing that the concrete categories may be associated with the principles of popular mentality as described by Aron Gurevich. It turns out, however, that clear-cut criteria distinguishing concrete and abstract categories are difficult to establish and, at the end of the day, we have to settle for a simplifying and not entirely satisfactory classification. The analytical part of the thesis then examines what instances of categories of identity can be found in the minutes of the interrogation of Joan of Arc. The overwhelming majority of these categories of identity, it turns out, fall under the 'concrete' label. Such a result seems to correspond very well with the Gurevichian idea of difference, although by no means an absolute...

Specifický přístup psychoterapeutů zaměřených na tělo ke klientům v rámci psychoterapeutického vztahu jako jeden z hlavních aspektů jejich práce / Specific approach to clients within psychotherapeutic relationship built by body-oriented psychotherapists as one of the main aspect of their work.

Königsmarková, Eva January 2013 (has links)
Master Thesis Eva Königsmarková Specific approach to the clients within psychotherapeutic relationship built by the body- oriented psychotherapists as one of the main aspect of their work Abstract For the time being, body-oriented psychotherapy is not commonlly used in the Czech Republic. Moreover, specialized literature provides mainly information about individual branches, where psychotherapy works with the body, but a complex picture is lacking. Therefore, the master thesis tries to address body-oriented psychotherapy comprehensively. Its theoretical part defines general aspects of and introduces practices used in this branch, presents its ethical principles and names several studies, which were carried out in this field. Individual therapeutical approaches are described in the conclusion. The empirical part is based on research, which maps the means of body-oriented psychotherapists. Through interviews with five psychotherapists and analysis of the interviews, where grounded theory is applied, we discover that the key aspect used in the work is a specific approach towards the clients, which is decisive for the existence of a psychotherapeutical relationship between them and the client. Body-oriented psychotherapists consider such relationship as one of the key factors of efficient therapy. The...

Aplikace metod vícekriteriálního rozhodování v oblasti fitness center / Application of multicriteria decision in a real decision

Drechslerová, Tereza January 2011 (has links)
The aim of my thesis is focused on choosing best fitness center according to concrete offer in Prague. Using methods of multi-criteria decisions I will calculate the order according to important information. Specifically, I work with three methods, Electre III, WSA and Topsis. Theoretical description of these methods and their applications using the Sanna is included. The work is extended by survey - ten women were interviewed to find out how they stand with exercises. This survey was very useful mainly because of getting new weights and thus new order for all three methods. The last chapter is devoted to the case of improving studio "Dokonalé tělo" and its position. I communicated with its owner Ing. Jan Stehlík, he was very nice and willing and interested in improving.

Řeč těla, řeč díla / Body language and the language of art

Jírová, Josefína January 2015 (has links)
The proposed thesis deals with the topic of body language in visual art and with understanding of body language as synergy of the innermost experience and the experience of the bodily form. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses psychological, anthropological and art historical literature published both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The point of departure for the theoretical part is the concept of interconnectedness of sensory perception, its cognitive analysis and the ensuing answer to the environment, focusing especially on the subjective character of these processes. In the practical part of the proposed thesis, an educational art project is designed, based on the results of the theoretical study in the first part and impulses from contemporary visual art (Eva Koťátková, Erwin Wurm, Miriam Cabessa and others). The aim of the educational part is to observe the processes mentioned above, concentrating especially on the creative expression through an artistic action and the experience of the individual.

Téma života u raného Bergsona / Topic of Life in Early Bergson

Novotný, Jan January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis observes the topic of life in early Bergson. It is divided into three parts. The first chapter is concentrated on Essay on the Immediate Data of Consciousness. In this chapter we can become acquainted with the distinction between duration and space. This distinction is the basic of Bergson philosophy. We can also see the distinction between the deeper self and the surface self, which is based on the first distinction. The second chapter Matter and Memory shows how the foregoing distinctions are connected through the Bergson's theory of memory. In the last charter, named Creative Evolution, we deal with the metaphysic concept of life by Bergson, which has always been connected with duration and freedom

Dandy jako umělecké dílo? / Dandy as a work of art?

Csicsely, Lukáš January 2017 (has links)
(in English): My goal in this diploma thesis is to verify the claim that "dandy is a work of art". The figure of Dandy is often defined by the claim that it truly is a work of art. Dandy is after all defined like that by the founders of the debate on dandysm (Barbey d`Aurevilly, Charles Baudelaire and Oscar Wilde) and also by contemporary theoreticians of dandysm (such as Francois Coblence, Daniel S. Schiffer and Karin Becker). However, despite the numerous occurrences of the definition, the claim was never extended into general theory of dandy as work of art. I am here trying to do that. First, I am looking for a definition that best suits the concept of dandy according to the founders. I confront the concept of dandysm with several definitions of art (mimetic, expressive, formalistic, institutional or functionalist). With the definition that the comparison shows as the most appropriate - the functionalist theory of art - I continue to operate. With a structuralist definition of Jan Mukařovský. From the structuralistic point of view I answer the basic questions connected within the discourse of aesthetics with the concept of the work of art. I am looking for a basic material (material norm) that would create the identity of dandy as a specific kind of artwork. Based on that, I distinguish artistic...
