Hranice. Výtvarná řada pro 2.stupeň ZŠ / "Boundaries". Series of creative lessons for the second Primary school

This thesis deals with the topic of borders and includes art series, which focuses on the development of social perception and thinking of pupils of second grade of primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis maps the border issue within society. The beginning of the work clarifies the borders in terms of psychology. Afterwards, different ways of dealing with the subject boundaries in art are presented. There are primarily highlighted figures of visual arts and artistic styles that inspired the creation of art series. Works of artists are chronologically ordered into artistic styles and semantically clarified with regard to time, cultural and social context. The next part of this work is devoted to a school curriculum and the possibilities of including the chosen theme to teaching of art subject within the school educational programs, for which the project was implemented. At the end of the theoretical part there is outlined the history of the project teaching and the method used for the creation of the art series.The project part is a set of seven lessons dealing with the topic of boundaries, which are focused on working with different techniques. The whole project was based on the perception and understanding of the issue of boundaries by the pupils of primary school during particular lessons. The course of the lessons and their content is described chronologically. The end of the practical part presents additional possibilities of how, according to the author of this qualification work, the topic of boundaries can be used for further processing.

This diploma paper is divided into two parts, a practical and a theoretical part. The practical part portrays dance in a set of five figures of dancers created using the method of ceramic sculpture made of ceramic clay. The figures of dancers are chosen as representatives of five various dances that stand for the historical era and the continent where they originated. The theoretical part follows the set of sculptures with information about historical and local contexts of the individual dances as well as stylizations of each dancer and the working methods used.

This diploma thesis discusses options of using Wallachian musical folklore in the education for the 2nd grade class at an elementary school. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretic information about the Wallachian region in general. It includes facts about folklore, delineation of boundaries, the origin of this region as well as typical costumes and folk architecture. The author focuses on distinctive folk songs, typical musical instruments and dances typical for the Wallachian region. The second part introduces folk collectors, important people and current folk events in this region. The research part examines the relationship and knowledge of the musical folklore and the pupils of the 2nd grade. The author uses a questionnaire method of research. After that, the practical part of this thesis offers a suggestion for Wallachian folklore to become a part of these music classes. This dissertation covers with exploring the meaning of dance in human life in the history and today. It specialises on dance in the leisure time field and its therapeutic use and describes the evolution of dance since it´s ever been mentioned and its importance to human life at that time. The first part of the dissertation is concentrating on the history of dance in Bohemia and abroad. The chapters chart the time horizon of dance since antics till nowadays. In the highlighted periods of time it tries to elevate the meaning of dance form, which was characteristic for the actual period. The second part of the dissertation focuses on the meaning of dance as a free time activity and concentrates on recent trend {--} belly dance. The last part of the dissertation covers the meaning of dance as a therapeutic instrument in dance movement therapy.

Key words: dance - body - corporeality - dance aesthetics - aesthetic experience - phenomenology - Maxine Sheets-Johnstone - contemporary dance Abstact: Dance's various forms and appearances are connected through one universal aspect - the presence of corporeality as represented by the moving human body. The role and the experience of body is essential for the description of dance even in its aesthetical and philosophical interpretation. First of all, this diploma theses aims to map the field of aesthetics and philosophy of dance from wider historical perspective and consequently to find support in dance basic division and its connected experiences in practice of inner ecstatic immersion. Furthermore, the focus is also given to the type of experience that is subordinated to visual effect of dance. This foundation is further elaborated in second part of this thesis, which discusses dance experience in its aesthetic dimension through context of phenomenological philosophy in thinking of Maxine Sheets-Johnstone. Title: The Effect of Kinesiotaping on Pain Threshold Alteration of Lower Limbs and Pelvis in Latin American Sport Dance Couples Objectives: The aim of this study is to monitor the alteration of the pain threshold in predilective points of lower limbs and pelvis during loaded regime and to compare these changes with the control group with no kinesio tape. Methods: This experimental study employs intervention of kinesio tape applied to inhibit m. gastrocnemius medialis et lateralis and for mechanical correction of hallux valgus. There were five couples in experimental group and five couples in control group. The pain threshold change was objectivised by pressure algometer. Results: The measured data showed that the kinesiotaping has a positive influence on pain threshold in sport dance couples. In most dancers (9 out of 10) kinesio tape contributed to increasing or smaller decreasing of pain threshold with respect to the other lower limb. In comparison with the control group, pain threshold of dancers in the experimental group increased or decreased less even despite acute or subacute injury of the taped lower limb. Title: The Problematics of musicality in aesthetic-coordination sports Objectives:. This thesis deals with the problematics of musicality in conjunction with aesthetic-coordination sports, particularly acrobatic rock and roll, Latin American dances and modern gymnastics. The aim is to determine the level of musicality in active individuals operating in these sports sectors and compare these results. Method: The research was made by using standardized test of musicality by Arnold Bentley. The research group consists of competitors of early school age in acrobatic rock and roll (10), Latin American dances (10) and modern gymnastics (10). The results are interpreted by using the tables of frequency and bar graphs through a functions in Excel. Results: The Ranking aesthetic-coordination sports by success in the test musicality by Arnold Bentley is folowing: 1) Acrobatic rock and roll (58,1%), 2) Latin American dances (56,5%), 3) modern gymnastics (55,5%). Thesis is dedicated to traditional folklore music of Portugal and introduces different kinds of traditional music. Chosen are those kinds that are even nowadays very popular and that are to be found around the country. The main focus of thesis is on music and tradition of folklore groups called Rancho Folclórico. History of Portuguese traditional music in general as well as the origins of rancho are introduced. Those are connected to the context of general Portuguese history. Furthermore, traditional musical instruments typical for rancho groups are described as well as the musical repertoire and traditional dances. The character of rancho groups, their members, rehearsals, costumes and festivals the groups preform in are closely examined. Final chapter introduces concrete activities and ideas for utilization of Portuguese traditional music in pedagogical practice. Thesis is also based on information obtained from interviews with current members of variant rancho groups. Hereafter, appendix is attached to thesis consisting mainly of photographs and video recordings taken personally by the author in Lisbon.

The thesis examines the phenomenon of nonverbal communication via dance from the perspective of anthropology of dance. The objective of the thesis is to analyze the dance environment of contemporary and ballroom dance, based on the point of view of the dancers as well as of the audience. I determine the differences in the ways these forms of dance communicate through dance performances. I examine how dance functions as a means of language, on which level the communication is processing and what meanings and messages the audience decodes within the dance performance. The phenomenon of dance in its natural environment is studied semiotically, as a form of language in certain context. The fieldwork method is based on participant observation and semistructured interviews with both dancers and audience. The research was conducted in the studio of Nová scéna - Lidé v pohybu in Prague, which teaches contemporary dance, and in the dance club Akcent Dobruška, which focuses on ballroom dance. The development of ethics with samples of period fine art pieces with the emphasis on Christian view. (Range 14.-16. century). The base of this thesis is a brief description of eschatology, developing in the frame of Christian ethics in the midstream of the pestilence's apocalypse of the late Middle Ages. The main part of the thesis is focused on changes in individual as well as social perception of death during the very demanding era of extreme wave of pestilence's epidemic in late Middle Ages even early modern history. The changes in approach and coping with the attribute of death are being observed. The aim of the thesis, on the basis of literary studies, is to gather and analyze the changes in interpretation of death during the mentioned period, evaluate their influence of people's behavior by verification or denial of given hypothesis. The accessible materials are supplemented by previews of period fine art pieces showing the attitude of people in given era towards the perception of their own death.
