BROMOVÁ, Kristýna January 2010 (has links)
The aim of the graduation thesis was finding out the inclusion of dances and rhythmical forms in physical training lessons at primary school level. The research field was pupil´s relation to doing exercise accompanied by music. The resource file was 158 pupils of the second class of primary schools in České Budějovice. The research method was a questionnaire. The results file confirmed the presumption that the inclusion of rhythmical forms in physical education is not frequent, although the rhythmical forms are included in curriculum. The results were different in each school and even in each class. The research proved that only a half of pupils is a member of some physical, sport or dance interst group. This graduation thesis shortly reffered to the use of music accompaniment in education.

Pádejová, Monika January 2020 (has links)
(anglický) The presented master's thesis focuses on the visual representation of the natural and cultivated female body, responding to the hygienic, eugenic and aesthetic requirements of the newly created state. In addition to strengthening the modern national identity, it was to form and represent a positive image of the new womanhood that resulted in the project of a civilized woman in the late 1920s. The new social arrangement required a new type of modern man, and therefore also of a woman. Within it, two seemingly unrelated areas merged - science and visual culture, which pursued to define the ideal of the modern female body: beautiful, healthy, morally and aesthetically appealing. The image of a woman doing sports became the emblem of the newly formed republic. The female body gained added aesthetic value, it became a new ornament and communicative sign, infiltrating into the visual culture beginning with advertising and culminating in fine arts. We focus on the role of modern dance and the personality of Milča Mayerová, a prominent First Republic dancer and symbol of a modern woman, who reflected the changing requirements of the time with her visual representation and publishing activities. Key words (anglický) Body, modernity, womanhood, new woman, visual culture, visual representation,...

Společenský tanec jako forma využití volného času / Ballroom dance as a leisure activity

Ježková, Martina January 2013 (has links)
Annotation: This thesis aims to reveal to the general public, what dance is in the eyes of professional dancers, and to recommend ballroom dancing as one of the very good ways to meaningfully use their free time. The aim is to find out how pupils and students under 20 years of age spend their free time and how they perceive dance as a leisure activity. This work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part, I explain the concept of free time and the importance of meaningful use of it. Further, I detail the history of dance, which shows why people started to dance and what it yields to them. The theoretical part also includes information about the dance sport, institutions providing dance training, sports nutrition, and also the fact that dance can help and heal. The empirical part is devoted to questionnaires measuring how much of their free time children spend on dance activities, and guided interviews with professional dancers who let us peek into their dance world. These dancers will answer the questions: why dancing became their way of life, what positives and negatives it brings, what is so beautiful and liberating about the dance, and also why a place called Blackpool is often mentioned in the dance environment.

Performance art jako hraniční forma uměleckého projevu / Performance Art as a Border Form of Artistic Expression

Vatulíková, Andrea Unknown Date (has links)
While taking into account the field of study of performing arts, I assume that the category called „performing arts“ underwent many reforms in the 20th century, making it almost impossible to set clear boundaries between theatre, dance and performance art. Therefore I deal with their common ground that I call the zero point and that allows me to explore means of expression of human body and also time – space dimension of live action. The zero point is located in the pelvic region of the body and it is the center of stability, balance and life enegry. In my dissertation I focus on the analysis of physical trainings that work with the zero point in theater, dance and performance arts. Primary output of this work is then analysis of physicality as culturally encoded construct and the practical part of disseration is focused on the realisation of the point zero symposium.

Role konfliktů u soutěžních tanečních párů v procesu učení se tanci a vliv osobního partnerského vztahu / Conflict resolution among competitive Ballroom dancers in the process of learning and the influence of personal relationships

Vanek, Marián January 2021 (has links)
Basic element of competitive Dance Sport is the dance couple. For being succesful, it's needed to master the combination of specific dance skills, sport skills, stress resilience and skills connected to dance partnership, mainly communication skills and conflict resolution skills. Since the scientific research of conflict resolution among competitive couples is very scarce, aim of our explorative qualitative research is to understand how Latin Dance Sport couples experience conflicts and their subjective meaning of partnership in competitive dance. Experiences of dancers of various dance classes and their trainers were gathered using questionnaire (= 43) and half-structured interviews (= 13). Based on themati analysis, relevant themes were identified and described, and explanatory model further based on activity theory, game theory and theory of interdependence was proposed. Model suggests that contradiction of two different motives (competitive success vs. partner relationship) in the activity systems of competitive dance predisposes possible complex relationships between (implicit and/or explicit) aims of dancers, their type of partnership, possible expressed conflicts and their preferred styles of conflict resolution (based on the unique context of every dance couple). Relevant identified themes...
