Previous issue date: 2009-12-16 / This study contextualizes the technical industrial education from the School Technique Estate Pedro Ferreira Alves, considering the cultural and political movement around the building and the emergence of this institution. Interest in this research arises from the concern with the formation of the Brazilian worker at the technical level. A worker who loses every time the voice and time. It should be noted that education in this study, it is not dealt with the tight economic, and social events. We tried to recover, through the report of the first director of School Technique Estate Pedro Ferreira Alves, the local press and the Multi-Year Plan/2009, the trajectory of the school since its inception till the year 2009. In this context, it was felt that it would take to score the legislation relating to industrial and technical education, later teaching professional to verify this flagship. As a way of subsidizing analysis, talked about theoretical laws focused on technical education, the relationship between work and education and the world of work. Since then, it was empirical research whose methodology consisted of semi-structured interviews recorded with the direction and coordination of courses geared to industry offered by School Technique Estate Pedro Ferreira Alves above in order to investigate how the framework of an institution technique in the framework of the neoliberal system established. We detected considerable part of truancy. It was felt that the training of the worker is only through the school walls, but through their social relations, demystifying the neoliberal logic that the school is solely responsible for the education of the worker. It was also parallelism between legislation focused on the technical education and liberal logic.
