Large Format Photography in the Digital Era / Large Format Photography in the Digital EraYang, Tian January 2018 (has links)
Large format photography refers to the photographic practice that utilizes a large light
sensitive surface to capture photographs. As of 2018, large format photography is still
a subset of analog photography. The digital revolution brings us into the digital era.
Manufacturers and businesses in the photography industry is forced to adapt the
transition from analog to digital in order to survive and succeed in the new market.
Meanwhile, photography theorists find themselves facing a new set of issues
because the photographs have become immediate and immaterial. While camera
manufacturers have in effect accelerated the analog-to-digital transition with their
proactive business strategies and relentless marketing campaigns, higher education
has become the last bastion for the analog where large format camera classes teach
students the tradition of photography and how to see the world contemplatively.

This diploma thesis called The Railway Station - The Introduction of the Theme of Urban Landscape Shaped by the Industrial Revolution in Czech Painting of 1930s and 1940s is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the czech painting of the thirties and fourties mainly. The painting of this period reacts on the development of the cities after the industrial revolution and the change of the stands. The new situation was reflected by the artists originally. The theoretical part is focused on Group 42 and its members mainly. The artists and their pieces of work show the issues of the progress. Both parts, practical part mainly, put the emphasis on the phenomenon of the railway station. The railway station is connected with the development of the cities and it serves for the transport of people and goods. There is the outlining of the problem of artistically captured everyday reality of man living in the city in this thesis, there is the differentation of abstract and concrete imaging and its interconnection. The practical part contains photos, sketches and final painting. The railway station is depicted in the painting. The problem of reality and abstract and concrete imaging are expressed in the painting.

Vliv posilovacího cvičení na Biokineticu do plaveckého výkonu na 50 m kraul / Effect of strengthening exercises on Biokinetic to swimming performance at 50 m crawlNezdara, Jaroslav January 2019 (has links)
Title: Effect of strengthening exercises on Biokinetic to swimming performance at 50 m crawl. Objectives: The aim of this work is to find out whether a two-month movement intervention performed on a swimming simulator (Biokinetic) will affect the swimming performance of a 50 m crawl by FTVS students. Methods: Five probands of the 2nd year of the follow-up study at Charles University FTVS participated in the research. The anthropometric data were obtained using the TANITA testing device. To determine the maximum endurance muscle strength of the upper limbs and other movement parameters, we used the Biokinetic device. In order to determine the maximum swimming performance, we carried out a swimming test for 50 m with the crawl technique. Interest activities were identified through a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by MS EXCEL and NCSS 2019. Results:The results show, that the Biokinetic weight training exercises had a positive influence on swimming performance at a distance of 50 m crawl in swimming pool. In the analysis of the technique of performing motion shots on Biokinetic, we found an increase in the frame frequency, but a decrease in the overall path. The increased in frequency according to our findings results in a reduction of the total path of the motion cycles. All probands experienced an...

DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH OF SPECIAL LUMINAIRE SYSTEMS
Relevance of the research
When Lithuania were joined into the European Community it has become necessary to use lighting devices corresponding to requirements of the European Community – ENEC norms. Taking into account the specificity of given devices in Lithuania and other new EU countries they should be steady against low temperatures, humidity, acts of vandalism, to be suitable for the illumination of industrial buildings and to fulfil the requirements of low prices of the new incorporated countries.
Recently new comprehensive ENEC norms (EN European Norms, EC Electrical Certification) for luminaires were drawn up and effectively introduced by the European Union. As a result, the production of a wide range of electrical operating equipment was discontinued due to the inconsistency between technical parameters of produced equipment and new norms. Such equipments were not allowed to be marketed.
Therefore it has become necessary to develop luminaires capable to fulfil the increased quality requirements of the European Union. Their development should also taken into account due to the targets of product responsibility (§ 22) laid down in the Act for Promoting Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management and Ensuring Environmentally Compatible Waste Disposal introduced in 1996 also should be taken into account extensively the aspects of ecological efficiency.
In the past, plastic luminaire systems belonging to a higher... [to full text]

Tarpusavio sinchronizacijos sistemos matematinio modelio sudarymas ir tyrimas / Formation and research of the mathematical model of the mutual synchronization systemKuzmickienė, Aušra 08 June 2005 (has links)
The mutual in the synchronization system is analyzed in this work. The mutual in the synchronization is a double – side synchronization of interdependent tactical oscillators. Every of interdependent oscillators has influence on the frequency of other oscillators. The frequency of all oscillators will be the same and equal to the certain medium frequency which depends upon, the frequency and distances among separate oscillators of all in the settled regime of them joined into the net. The objective of the work is to analyze the synchronization system which is joined of four interdependent oscillators. The mathematical model of synchronization system is formed, analytic expressions of transitional function and differences among phases of oscillation are set transitional processes of synchronization system and differences among phases of oscillation are researched. The mathematical model of synchronization system is matrixal rectilinear dif. Equation with the argument to be late. It is solved using the method of steps and the transformation of Laplace. Exact analytical expressions of the solution components are found using Jordan’s form of descriptive matrix which describes the structure of inherent relations among the blocks of the system analytical expressions of transitional functions in the system and differences of phases of oscillation are obtained on the basis of the solution.
