Virtual organization as a special cooperation form in the activity field of Mergers & Acquisitions

Hanser, Nicholas January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation aims to provide guidance to research and practice in regards to the co-operation form of the virtual organisation and the insight that virtual organisation forms could prove to be a viable alternative to classic and traditional cooperation forms such as mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and others in business practice. Although the classic and more traditional cooperation forms are widely known and often discussed in the relevant press, the same does not seem to be true for the cooperation form of the virtual organisation. The explanation of the emergence and the theoretical foundation of the virtual organisation are mentioned in this dissertation. After that, typical characteristics and chances and risks of the organisation form follow. Empirical studies with business professionals and stock exchange listed companies in Europe prove that the concept of the virtual organisation is not so widely known in the public and in the business praxis as other classic and traditional cooperation forms. It is shown that on the other hand, many characteristics and aspects of the virtual organisation, as they are described in the relevant business and management theory, can also be found in business praxis and in real life companies. Case studies from modern business praxis will be discussed in order to further highlight the concept of the virtual organisation and its inherent characteristics via real examples from the business world. This dissertation aims to make clear this discrepancy of a lack of public conscious awareness on the one hand and representation of relevant characteristics of virtual companies on the other hand. The comparison with other forms of cooperation shows that virtual corporations can be clearly distinguished from other forms of cooperation, despite the fact that significant similarities and common grounds can be partially observed. The relevance and the potential of the cooperation type of the virtual organisation can have in the present and in the future is also discussed.

Moderní pěstitelské technologie třešní

Štochl, Marek January 2014 (has links)
New cherry orchards are planted in denser spacing with less vigorous rootstocks and using new training systems. The aim of the thesis was to compare two training systems (central leader, Spanish bush) with respect to growing (tree height, canopy volume, trunk cross-section area, pruning requirements), yielding (yield per tree, yield per TCSA, fruit weight, and cumulative yield) and physiologic characteristics (stomatal conductance, chlorophyll content, macro- and microelement leaf content). For this purpose, two cherry orchards were chosen. The first one was planted with commercially produced Burlat and Kordia sweet cherry trees on Gisela 5 and Colt rootstock in spring 2005. The trees were trained in two above mentioned systems and evaluated for four years. The trees of both varieties on rootstock P-TU-1 (similar to Mazzard) trained as central leader were used as a control. The trees were planted in two replications of four trees per each. The second orchard was planted with commercially produced Sweetheart sweet cherry trees on P-TU-1 rootstock and trained also in the two systems. In each variant twenty-one trees were evaluated for three years. In the first orchard, the most characteristics except the micro- and macroelement content were significantly related to rootstock and/or training system. In the most cases, rootstock had stronger effect than training system except the pruning requirements and tree height. The variety had the strongest effect on fruit weight. In the second orchard, the significant differences were found in the most characteristics except yielding characteristics in the first year of evaluation and the pruning requirements in the first two years of evaluation. The use of growth regulator (6-benzyladenin) for production of high quality cherry tree saplings for modern orchards was tested. The trial was realized at two localities. At the first locality two varieties (Hedelfingen´s, Kordia) on two rootstocks (mahaleb, Mazzard) were used for testing while the variety Sweetheart on P-TU-1 was used at the second locality. Two treatments (spraying, spraying with the defoliation of the top part of the tree) and the control treatment (without spraying) were made for two (first locality) or three years (second locality). At the both localities, the significant differences in total growth per tree, angle of shoots, number of annual shoots and sapling height were found even if the differences between localities and the growing years were found. At the first locality, the strongest effect was due to the rootstock used whereas at the second locality, it was the treatment used. From the results of the shoot number, the best treatment seems to be the spraying with the defoliation of the top part of the tree. The presented results can be utilized in high quality production of sweet cherry tree saplings from nurseries and their subsequent planting in the intensive sweet cherry tree orchards.

Uplatnění kompostu v zemědělské praxi z hlediska používaných technik kompostování a kvality výsledného produktu

Lexová, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to point out the importance of compost and its benefits for agriculture in the sense of sustainable development and restoration of soil fertility, and to compare composting technologies. To compare different composting methods which affect the resulting quality in the product and have direct impact on the efficiency of compost application on farmland. The achieved target values in the experimental part of the thesis were the verification or refu-tation of the hypothesis of positive effect of the compost on degraded soil. Young plants of Romaine lettuce were used as a model plant. I confirmed the hypothesis, using the container experiment: when medium and higher doses of compost were applied to degraded soil, it consequently improved soil properties. Using the container experiment I managed to confirm the hypothesis of the recommended ap-plication of compost at the rate of approx. 6-7 t / ha / year, with compost doses in regular cycles (once in 2-3 years).

Ověření vlivu použití biostimulačních látek a mykoparazitických hub při inkrustaci osiva

Prášil, Václav January 2018 (has links)
In the master thesis The verification of the influence of biostimulants and mycoparasitic fungi used in the seed incrustation technology were evaluated species parsley (Petroselinum crispum convar. radicosum) and carrot (Daucus carota L. subsp. Sativus) grown on 2 locations in 4 variants of incrustation and control variant. Total yield, marketable roots yield and percentage of marketable roots yield from total yield were determined. Research has shown that there has been a significant impact especially in plant health condition. An increase in yield was proved in variant using treatment by Clonoplus combined with CAPTAN 80WG, and also treatment by Clonoplus and Sunagreen-M combined with CAPTAN 80WG. An influence on increase of percentage of marketable roots yield from total yield was more significant in carrot. No phytotoxicity was proved in the germination test even during long-term storage of the seed.

Vliv základního zpracování půdy na plevele porostů jarního ječmene

Šťastný, Jiří January 2019 (has links)
This Master's thesis compares different types of tillage systems and their impact on weed of crop spring barley. Monitoring had been conducted in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The first observation were taking place on the field station in Žabčice where weeds were monitored during vegetation. The second monitoring had taken place for the first two years in Syrovice and the last year in Sobotovice. These experiments had evaluated weed infestation after harvest of the main crop. There had always been monitored the three different technologies. The obtained data were processed by the statistical program Canoco 5.0. The most weeds plants had been founded in the no-tillage variant in experiment No. 1 (Žabčice). For example persistent perennial weed species such as Cirsium arvense, Convolvulus arvensis. The smallest weeds infestation were detected in minimum technology with the common species Veronica persica. The most weeds plants had been founded in variants of tillage with disc cultivator in experiment No. 2 (Syrovice, Sobotovice). Occured common species: Amaranthus retroflexus, Hordeum vulgare – volunteer. On the other hand, the less weeds had been observed at the control variant (with no-tillage after harvest of the main crop) - for example: Anagallis arvensis, Chenopodium hybridum or Veronica polita. The results suggest that the different types of tillage systems and the climate conditions of the year have a significant impact on weed infestation.
