Influence de l’augmentation du taux de fibre de la canne à sucre sur les performances du complexe sucrerie – centrale thermique / Increase of sugarcane fibre impact on sugar and cogeneration plant

Corcodel, Laurent 21 September 2011 (has links)
Sugarcane is cultivated to produce sugar en electricity to the grind. Recently, the fibre content of cane delivered to the mill increase. Objective of this works is to determine the influence of cane delivered to the mill with more fibre (due to variety and trash) on cane analysis, sugar mills and energy plant complex performance (sugar, molasses and electricity production).Cane analysis method comparison show that Berding and Pollock method was the most appropriate for sugar, soluble dry matter and fibre in cane measurement.A laboratory cane analysis methodology using a grinder and a press is proposed. Relations are established to calculate according to juice and bagasse analysis, the cane capacity, energy for shredding cane, sugar extraction in juice and bagasse calorific value. Those analysis are used in mass and energy balance through the sugar and cogeneration plant. That balance conduct to crystallisable sugar, molasses and electricity exported. Results shows that compared to R579, the fibre variety R585 produce -8% of sugar and +51% of electricity, the R570 variety produce +3.9% of sugar and +27% of electricity. Compared to clean cane, whole crops harvesting decreased sugar (-16%) and electrical (-21%) production. Cane harvest with leaves conduct to a decrease of sugar (-4%) and increase of electrical (+12%) production.

L’art mobilier magdalénien, du support au décor : les choix technologiques et leurs implications dans l’élaboration des objets ornés en matières osseuses : Etude de cas dans la Vallée de l’Aveyron : les gisements de Plantade, Lafaye, Montastruc et Courbet / Magdalenian mobiliary art, from blank to decoration : technological choices and their implications in the manufacture of decorated pieces in osseous materials : Case study in Aveyron valley : sites of Plantade, Lafaye, Montastruc and Courbet

Aurière, Lise 28 June 2012 (has links)
Since the 80s and 90s, the studies of prehistoric art are mostly directed towards technical analyses allowing us to look for individual choices, to approach the techno-economic context of the palaeolithic groups, and to propose social and cultural models. Researches carried out on osseous mobiliary art have led to identify the tools and, more generally, the processes used for the manufacture of these objects. This set of information brought about a better comprehension of the engravers’ hand gestures, allowing to perceive the Man behind the technique.Following these works, a study of the technical processing of portable art on osseous materials from the acquisition of the raw material to the realization of engravings appeared necessary to complete our knowledge of the technical system, and get information about the complementary relationship between blank and decoration. The first objective was to understand the various actions performed on the raw material to obtain the final decorated piece. The second aim was to analyze when the decoration takes place during the “chaîne opératoire” and to identify possible variations in the technical choices during the whole process. The chosen methodology makes reference at the same time to the research developed since the 1970s in osseous industry, and to studies specifically dedicated to mobiliary art. An experimental approach was used to observe a large variety of traces and to create a reference corpus, that was useful afterwards to select a set of archaeological objects to be studied. The simultaneous analysis of the transformation of the raw material and the description of the decoration led us to propose a full “chaîne opératoire” for each of them, from the acquisition of the raw material to the use of the final artefact. The archaeological corpus was constituted by pieces from the Magdalenian sites of Lafaye, Plantade, Montastruc and Courbet in the Aveyron valley, cared in the Natural History Museum of Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne, France) and in the British Museum (London, England).

Les déterminantes des différents modes d'accès à la technologie : étude de cas de l'Iran / Determinants of technology sourcing modes : the case of iranian hi-tech firms

Karamipour, Azita 07 November 2011 (has links)
Technology is a top management major concern in order to increase the competitiveness of companies. Thus processes relating to technology acquisition, development and application become strategic key factors. Companies rely on their own R&D activities but also on partnership. Thus, literature points out that the use of technology sourcing modes by itself could create advantages for the firms. Among others technology sourcing modes are: - alliance through technology collaboration, consortium, research joint venture,- acquisition through licensing, R&D sub contracting, technology purchasing. As a consequence academics and practitioners direct their attention toward two main questions: when is it necessary to develop a new technology and what is the best sourcing mode? Thus, this research studies the decision key factors of Iranian high technology companies in the field of technology sourcing. Internal and external variables are investigated including: internal scientific resources, past experience success, absorptive capacity, and, the concerned phase of the technology live cycle, the technological uncertainty.
