Analýza dodavatelského řetězce vybrané společnosti / Analysis of the chain of suppliers in selected companyKubcová, Karolína January 2011 (has links)
The goal of the graduate thesis is the analysis of the current chain of suppliers in the purchasing department in a company named Ammann Czech Republic. The core of the thesis is the analysis of the present situation and optimalization of the costs of transferring material to the company, which concurs to the characteristics of logistics as a whole, theory of stock, and theoretical definition of purchasing department, its function and goals. Analysis of the chain of suppliers is made in terms of almost one year of working on the project, which was submitted by the company Ammann Czech Republic with the goal of minimizing the costs of the purchase material.

Rozhodovací situace v pokerových turnajích / Decision situations in tournament pokerPreibisch, Jan January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with factors which are important for making decisions in the game of poker. The goal is to find a way to improve players chances of success in this game. The first two chapters describe the rules of poker and the basics and presumptions of the game theory The following chapters analyze some mathematical models and assumptions for applying these models in the game. These models should find the optimal solution for individuals in decision making situations. It can be considered a static situation, where the behavior of each player is predetermined and the decision maker tries to find an appropriate strategy. It is also can be considered a dynamic situation, when all players react to each other, which heads to equilibrium solution. As a consequence of rising popularity of poker tournaments many strategy books have appeared, as well as analytic software. Nevertheless, it is and probably will remain impossible to solve all decision situations which can occur. A very important factor of success are some gamblers attitude, experience and mental skills. Mathematical knowledge, however, will become more and more important. This thesis will help to understand the basic of mathematic models and their application in poker game.

Modifikace zisku v klasických bilančních teoriích / Modifications of Profit in Classical Balance TheoriesBalek, Luboš January 2011 (has links)
The master's thesis focuses on the accounting concept of profit or loss. In the first part, the contemporary approach to the issue from both theoretical and practical point of view is described with the main focus on the determination of the distributable profit. The capital maintenance and value measurement are also dealt with for this purpose. Following the theoretical basics laid down in the previous part, the main approaches of classical balance theories are explained and their advantages and disadvantages pointed out in relation to their possible use in practice. The thesis contains illustrative examples and ends with a draft of a usable methodology based on the various concepts described in the text.

Termodynamická analýza procesů v polymerní elektrolytické membráně palivového článku / Termodynamická analýza procesů v polymerní elektrolytické membráně palivového článkuPavelka, Michal January 2012 (has links)
Thermodynamic analysis of processes in electrolytic fuel cell membrane Michal Pavelka April 12, 2012 Abstract Hydrogen fuel cells1 may become a key technology of 21st century, and it is important to be able to describe their behavior, therefore. In this work we focus on hydrogen fuel cells with a polymer-electrolyte membrane. For the membrane we adopt an existing model2 . We for- mulate the model in the framework of the mixture theory which we develop similarly as has been done in the classical textbook of Mazur and de Groot3 . However, refining the concept of potential energy of a material point, we introduce new terms called internal potential ener- gies which enable us to describe macroscopic consequences of internal forces between water and polymer in the membrane and to describe the influence of gradient of surface tension of water in the membrane. We solve the model in 1D approximation. Consequently, we calculate the influence processes in the membrane have on efficiency of the fuel cell. 1 see for example Larminie, J. and A. Dicks. Erdos-Szekeres type theorems / Erdos-Szekeres type theoremsEliáš, Marek January 2012 (has links)
Let P = (p1, p2, . . . , pN ) be a sequence of points in the plane, where pi = (xi, yi) and x1 < x2 < · · · < xN . A famous 1935 Erdős-Szekeres theorem asserts that every such P contains a monotone subsequence S of √ N points. Another, equally famous theorem from the same paper implies that every such P contains a convex or concave subsequence of Ω(log N) points. First we define a (k + 1)-tuple K ⊆ P to be positive if it lies on the graph of a function whose kth derivative is everywhere nonnegative, and similarly for a negative (k + 1)-tuple. Then we say that S ⊆ P is kth-order monotone if its (k + 1)- tuples are all positive or all negative. In this thesis we investigate quantitative bound for the corresponding Ramsey-type result. We obtain an Ω(log(k−1) N) lower bound ((k − 1)-times iterated logarithm). We also improve bounds for related problems: Order types and One-sided sets of hyperplanes. 1

Historie překladů z rumunské literatury do češtiny / History of literary translations from Romanian to CzechŠeflová, Kateřina January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with Czech translations from Romanian with emphasis on the translatological aspect of the topic. The theoretical part analyzes a list of translations created by the combination of a number of sources according to the original authors, the publishers of the translations, the year of publication of the Czech translation and the translators. The theoretical part also includes the outline of the development of Czech translation theories and a brief summary of modern directions in translatology. The practical part shows, using an analysis of the Czech translation of Țiganiada (Gypsiliad) by Ion Budai-Deleanu, how should look the analysis of the translation before the translator starts translating, or during his work. This part includes a practical analysis model with a division into individual segments. Each segment includes examples of potential problems and suggests a way to deal with them from a theoretical point of view.

Indirektní řečové akty v seriálu Vyprávěj / Indirect speech acts in a serial VyprávějChlupová, Jana January 2012 (has links)
The master thesis is called Indirect Speech Acts in series Vyprávěj and according to the title, it refers to indirect speech acts in the particular Czech series. The master thesis is based on Speech Act Theory by J. Austin, P. Grice and R. Searle. The most interesting thing on this issue is that words themselves are not so important as the meaning and intention which are hidden behind them. The master thesis would like to prove that indirect speech act is a part of illocution, the aim of a speaker in making an utterance, and stands hierarchical higher than a direct speech act.
