Návrh a pevnostní kontrola senzoru pro měření teplot a sil při válcování za tepla. / Design and stress analysis of temperature and force sensor in hot rolling process.

Nejedlý, Pavel January 2009 (has links)
In the process of hot rolling is roll surface thermo-mechanically stressed. To define lifetime of roll or to increase it by change of thermal mode, temperatures and forces acting on this roll need to be known. For this purpose should be used sensors, that are placed near by surface of roll. Aim of the first part of diploma thesis is to debug 2D computing model (MKP) to achieve the match of temperature graphs with experimentally measured values, which was recorded by temperature sensors in real process of rolling. In the second part the same temperature boundary conditions are applied on 3D model, which is used to solve mechanical strength check of the temperature sensor. The last part of thesis is design and verification of mechanical strength of the designed force sensor. The used boundary conditions were acquired in Laboratory of heat transfer and flow. The computing system ANSYS 11 is used to design a model of geometry and numerical calculation. This diploma thesis will be used as donating solution for the granted project, which started in this year with Laboratory of heat transfer and flow partnership.

Vliv podstatných parametrů na velikost radiální vůle a deformačně napěťové stavy v kuličkovém ložisku / Influence of essential parameters on the radial clearance and stress-strain states in ball bearings

Šperka, Václav January 2014 (has links)
Master thesis is focused on the research of influence of selected substantial parameters on stress – strain states in the deep groove radial ball bearing. The influence of radial load is analyzed, such as the influence of size of the bearing and row of the bearing, also influence of radial clearance is quantified. Next, the influence of thermal distribution in the bearing is analyzed for different combinations of thermal distributions and radial clearances. Conclusions from analyses are then used in the last task – suggestion of radial clearance for customer – specified assembly. Problem is solved using the finite element method (FEM) in pre/post processor MSC.Patran and solver MSC.Marc. To make analyses faster the substantial parameters are implemented in the algorithm for automatic generation of the bearing calculation (batch file). The theme of this thesis was commissioned by ZKL - Research and development, a. s.

Vliv teplotní historie na vztah mezi strukturou a vlastnostmi orientovaného polypropylenu / The Effect of Temperature Annealing on Structure-Property Relationship of Oriented Polypropylene

Sadílek, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this work is to study the effect of thermal history to structure and properties not only of oriented polypropylene monofilaments with different orientation but of course of isotropic non-oriented polypropylene. Term thermal history includes thermal regimes from alpha relaxation temperature (T?) to melting temperature (Tm). This work consists of three parts. The changes of dynamic mechanical properties, strength, deformation and tensile modulus of polypropylene samples according to annealing temperature (Ta) are described in the first part of this work. In the second part, the changes of crystal phase are observed. Preferentially, calorimetric behaviour (DSC), changes of crystal dimensions and orientation function of crystal phase (X-ray) are observed. Measured values from the first and the second part of this work were used for calculation of total orientation function of PP samples. Rheological measurements are shown in the third part of this thesis. Rheological measurements consist of short isothermal creep, shrinkage of free tapes and static deformation at higher temperatures. Measured rheological values were performed using rheological models. Using these models characteristics of entropic spring, instantaneous elasticity and viscosity and tendency to get to state of ease were calculated.

Vliv teplotních šoků na únavu materiálu částí tlakových zařízení / Influence of thermal shocks on fatigue of pressure equipment components

Umlauf, Martin January 2016 (has links)
This thesis examines influence of thermal shock on fatigue of pressure equipment components. The paper relates to project of IMI CCI Brno, which is a leading manufacturer of valves for the energy and process industries. Analysis concerns the impact of thermal shock concentrating on high pressure part of the steam valve. And proposal for a new valve geometry that reduces machining operations and reduce financial costs of production. First part of the thesis presents a basic review of fatigue damage components concerning mechanical loading and thermal – mechanical loading. Second part of the study creates FEM model of the valve. FEM model simulate temperature field and stress during thermal shock. Influence of thermal shock to fatigue damage was computed on basis of stress tensor obtained from FEM simulation under Chapter 18 of the standard EN 13445-3. Existing valve geometry was verified and the new geometry was proposed that simplified and reduce financial costs of production.
