Progressing From Multiple-respondent Anecdotal Assessments to Test-control Analyses of Problem Behavior

Staff, Martha Joe 05 1900 (has links)
The current study was designed to evaluate the utility of progressing sequentially from multiple-respondent anecdotal assessments through test-control treatment analysis as an effective and efficient method of identifying the environmental determinants of problem behavior. the goal of the study was to evaluate overall agreement among multiple respondents on the primary function of aberrant behavior using the Motivation Assessment Scale (MAS) and Questions About Behavioral Function (QABF) and, if agreement was obtained, conduct a test-control evaluation to confirm anecdotal assessment findings while simultaneously evaluating the effects of function-based treatment. for 4 individuals, at least 4 of 5 respondents to the anecdotal assessments agreed (both within and across assessments) on the probable maintaining consequence for their problem behaviors. Test-control multielement evaluations were then conducted in which baseline sessions, corresponding to the suspected operant function of each individual’s problem behavior, were alternated with sessions in which the identified contingency was arranged for alternative behavior. Each evaluation showed substantial decreases in problem behavior and maintenance of alternative responses.

Aplikace profilového testu na různé typy potravin / Application of profile test on several types of foods

Přerovská, Mariya January 2010 (has links)
This diploma thesis was focused on the use of profile tests for sensory analysis of foods. The development of profile methods, advantages and disadvantages of the techniques, specific training of panelists, the organization and the requirements for testing place and testing is described in theoretical part. There is a brief overview of other methods and legislation used in sensory analysis. In the experimental part of this work several types of foods such as bread, ham, yogurt, apple and chocolate have been selected. For each of these foods the forms for profile evaluation of flavor and texture have been developed. Consequently, the selected samples were sensorially evaluated by panel composed from students of FCH BUT.

TIME SYNCHRONIZATION IN FLIGHT TEST DATA ANALYSIS

Von Zuben, Francis S. G., David, Alfred S., Jr. 10 1900 (has links)
International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 23-26, 2000 / Town & Country Hotel and Conference Center, San Diego, California / A recurring problem in flight testing navigation systems is the need for an accurate, common time reference for the system under test and for the truth source to which it is compared. Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company and Computer Sciences Corporation have developed software that utilizes all available timing information to reference the times of validity for each navigation measurement to Coordinated Universal Time. This permits accurate comparison and correlation of data necessary for statistical error analysis of the navigation system.

Automatic test vector generation and coverage analysis in model-based software development

Andersson, Jonny January 2005 (has links)
<p>Thorough testing of software is necessary to assure the quality of a product before it is released. The testing process requires substantial resources in software development. Model-based software development provides new possibilities to automate parts of the testing process. By automating tests, valuable time can be saved. This thesis focuses on different ways to utilize models for automatic generation of test vectors and how test coverage analysis can be used to assure the quality of a test suite or to find "dead code" in a model. Different test-automation techniques have been investigated and applied to a model of an adaptive cruise control system (ACC) used at Scania. Source code has been generated automatically from the model, model coverage and code coverage has therefore been compared. The work with this thesis resulted in a new method to create test vectors for models based on a combinatorial test technique.</p>

INTERACTIVE ANALYSIS AND DISPLAY SYSTEM (IADS)

Mattingly, Patrick, Suszek, Eileen, Bretz, James 10 1900 (has links)
International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 20-23, 2003 / Riviera Hotel and Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada / The Interactive Analysis and Display System (IADS) provides the test engineer with enhanced test-data processing, management and display capabilities necessary to perform critical data monitoring in near real-time during a test mission. The IADS provides enhanced situational awareness through a display capability designed to increase the confidence of the engineer in making clearance decisions within a Mission Control Room (MCR) environment. The engineer achieves this confidence level through IADS’ real-time display capability (every data point) and simultaneous near real-time processing capability consisting of both time and frequency domain analyses. The system displays real-time data while performing interactive and automated near real-time analyses; alerting the engineer when displayed data exceed predefined threshold limits. The IADS provides a post-test capability at the engineer’s project area desktop, with a user interface common with the real-time system. The IADS promotes teamwork by allowing engineers to share data and test results during a mission and in the post-test environment. The IADS was originally developed for the government’s premier flight test programs. IADS has set the standard for MCR advancements in data acquisition and monitoring and is currently being integrated into all the existing MCR disciplines.

An Investigation On The Application Of Operational Modal Analysis

Buke, Fatih 01 September 2006 (has links) (PDF)
Modal parameter identification of a structure is done through modal testing and modal analysis using various system identification methods. These methods employ linear input-output relationships to extract the modes of a structure. There are cases where laboratory testing of a structure is not possible or information about the structure under operating conditions is seeked. A set of techniques called Operational Modal Analysis have been developed for modal parameter identification in operating conditions of a structure. These techniques use only response measurements to extract the modes. The aim of this study is to investigate the applicability and use of three selected time-domain methods adapted to operational modal analysis. The algorithms are programmed in Matlab&copy / environment, and various cases are evaluated using computer simulations for each method. Two of the selected methods are evaluated on a laboratory scale test setup.
