Software Testing Platform Development and Implementation / Vývoj a implementace testovací platformy

Burian, Vojtěch January 2012 (has links)
The quality is probably the most significant property of a successful software product. As experience with many software projects has already shown, leaving out testing and quality management from software development process can result in vast and critical customer issues, which usually invoke additional expenses for the software production company. In the course of time, software testing as a discipline has therefore seized an important position among other software development activities. And due to the fact that the software, thanks to rising customer demands and growing competing products portfolio, is getting more complex, the more advanced software testing procedures need to be implemented. Test strategy and iteration planning, implementation of multiple test types into the test suite, test automation, evaluation, administration and maintenance: these activities are commonly required within larger software development projects. Formalized software testing is, nevertheless, being introduced also to projects using agile management techniques which, by management decision or target user industry, are supposed to deliver products of highest quality. This initiates the high focus on the software testing discipline. The purpose of this thesis is to design and implement a new system of software testing within a real project in the CertiCon a.s. company, for which software development is the main business activity. Current issues and gaps for possible improvement, gathered both by project management and the author himself, are analyzed in the first major part of this work and transformed into testing system requirements, which should cover both process changes as well as implementation/development of needed software supporting the process. The second part of thesis is covering the design of the new software testing system, focusing mainly on the area of test management and selection of appropriate software management tool. The final part of the thesis is aimed at implementation of the designed solution within a real organization environment and evaluates its benefits against the previously set requirements.

Identifikace sloučenin rozrušujících protein-proteinovou interakci u polymerasy viru chřipky. / Identification of small compounds disrupting protein-protein interaction in influenza A polymerase.

Hejdánek, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
Influenza virus causes severe respiratory infections in birds and mammals and it is responsible for up to half a million deaths of human beings worldwide each year. Two molecular targets in influenza viral life cycle, neuraminidase and M2 proton channel are exploited in treatment. However, the recent emergence of new pandemic type along with increasing resistance against approved drugs has urged the need for a new drug target discovery and potential search of its inhibitor. Recently, an interesting protein-protein interaction between two subunits PA and PB1 of influenza A viral polymerase has been identified by X-ray crystallography as a new promising drug target. The fact that relatively few residues drive the binding and that the binding interface is highly conserved presents an intriguing possibility to identify antiviral lead compounds effective against all subtypes of influenza A virus. In our laboratory, we expressed and purified two fusion tag constructs of the recombinant C-terminal domain of polymerase acidic subunit (CPA) from the pandemic isolate A/California/07/2009 H1N1. First, GST-CPA fusion protein was used for kinetic evaluation of PA-PB1 interaction by surface plasmon resonance. Moreover, this construct was used in the development of high-throughput screening method for search of...

Konstrukce jednoúčelového stroje pro automatické testování pneumatického šroubení / Construction of a single-purpose machine for automatic testing of pneumatic fittings

Tejkl, Michal January 2021 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of a single-purpose machine for automatic testing of pneumatic fittings. Pneumatic fittings used in brake systems are subject to high technical requirements and 100% tightness control in production. In this case, manual testing is not effective and the goal is to automate the process. The theoretical part presents pneumatic mechanisms, analysis of the tested pneumatic fitting with technical parameters, the possibility of tightness testing, use of sensors, and rotary tables. In the practical part, a systematic analysis of the problem was performed, according to which the overall design proceeded. Subsequently, the design of the complete machine containing individual nodes is processed, supplemented by the necessary calculations. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of the whole project.

Posouzení interní metodiky testování na konkrétním projektu a návrh vylepšení / Posouzení interní metodiky testování na konkrétním projektu a návrh vylepšení

Hofrichterová, Kateřina January 2015 (has links)
The thesis is focused on testing the banking software. The first part is contained introduction to the topic, introduced the project, including its objectives, the nature of the application, my role in it. Further described is a method Case study used throughout the work. The company is a researcher of the project for the client. The first objective is to describe the company's testing methodology by which the project progressed during, compare it with other methodologies with regard to their robustness, the degree of organization of work and domestic allocation. The second objective is to determine the bottlenecks including the determination of improvement. Each project is unique, so is suitable, another degree of organization. A control method of the project is agile. It is therefore expected framework anticipating complications and subsequent resolution of other areas to occur. The work defines the cause bottlenecks as the internal factor (human labor), external factors (legislative changes). Mapped was not only the current situation but also outlined the cause of the problem. And the third in terms of value-added most important goal is to design verification solutions experts. At work I described ways of solving problems. I woke them both employees solver side, so people from client companies. Experts from the client know good practices in the company and are able to assess the suitability due to the nature of society. Collaborators supply side, meanwhile, have extensive experience from similar projects. Their opinion on the issue can bring effective application of the Recommendation. The biggest benefit is not only the approval but also the subsequent implementation in the course of the entire project.
