The design includes calculations of machining loads, spindle deformation, bearings, gears and spindle startup. Furthermore, 3D models and selected drawings are included.

The thesis deals with the production concept of the bracket for fixing the drying frame. The component is made of 11 343 steel. The semi-finished product is galvanized sheet with 2 mm thickness. With regard to the required quality of the component and the yearly production quantity (40,000 pieces), a new production technology was chosen based on a literary study by means of conventional shearing in a tool, followed by bending on a press brake. For the selected technologies, technological calculations and a cutting tool were designed, which are dealt with in the drawing documentation. The work also includes technical-economic evalua-tion of the proposed production method.

SeedQuant: A Deep Learning-based Census Tool for Seed Germination of Root Parasitic PlantsRamazanova, Merey 30 April 2020 (has links)
Witchweeds and broomrapes are root parasitic weeds that represent one of the main threats to global food security. By drastically reducing host crops’ yield, the parasites are often responsible for enormous economic losses estimated in billions of dollars annually. Parasitic plants rely on a chemical cue in the rhizosphere, indicating the presence of a host plant in proximity. Using this host dependency, research in parasitic plants focuses on understanding the necessary triggers for parasitic seeds germination, to either reduce their germination in presence of crops or provoke germination without hosts (i.e. suicidal germination). For this purpose, a number of synthetic analogs and inhibitors have been developed and their biological activities studied on parasitic plants around the world using various protocols. Current studies are using germination-based bioassays, where pre-conditioned parasitic seeds are placed in the presence of a chemical or plant root exudates, from which the germination ratio is assessed. Although these protocols are very sensitive at the chemical level, the germination rate recording is time consuming, represents a challenging task for researchers, and could easily be sped up leveraging automated seeds detection algorithms. In order to accelerate such protocols, we propose an automatic seed censing tool using computer vision latest development. We use a deep learning approach for object detection with the algorithm Faster R-CNN to count and discriminate germinated from non-germinated seeds. Our method has shown an accuracy of 95% in counting seeds on completely new images, and reduces the counting time by a significant margin, from 5 min to a fraction of second per image. We believe our proposed software 5 “SeedQuant” will be of great help for lab bioassays to perform large scale chemicals screening for parasitic seeds applications.

After completion of constructional calculations was determined eccentric press LEN 40 C and was designed tool. The work is completed by drawing documentation of the compound tool. In the work is performed economic evaluation too. Present technology (blanking, bending) is compare here with new technology- compound tool. Compound tool is profitable, because time and money are saving.

The project developed in the master's degree in M2-P, proposes a technology of hollow metal components DX53D+Z275N+NC with holes sheet metal forming. For batch production 225 000 units per year, on the basis of literary study problems of production of components there is designed a new way of producing components for progressive tools and it is compared with current production of simple tools. A progressive tool has 12 steps and combines them in cutting, drawing and extrusion. The tool is mounted in the hydraulic press KAISER KSTU2500 with a maximum force of 2500 kN. Simulations were performed for the campaign in the PAM-STAMP 2G 2011.
