Socialnärvaro och kommunikationsverktyg Kommunikationskvalitet inom IT-distansHörsell, Joachim January 2017 (has links)
The study investigates how social presence and different tools of communication used by the students at the IT-distance programme Informatics with Focus on Systems Development at Mid Sweden University affects the quality of communication and how the quality of communication can be improved. The data for the study is collected from six semistructured interviews, the participants are students taking the sixth and last term at the programme. Parts of the questions used during interviews derive from the framework Community of Inquiry (CoI) by Randy Garrison, Terry Anderson and Walter Archer. CoI is a framework for measuring three types of presence: Cognitive presence, Teaching presence and Social presence. The purpose of the framework is to measure when deep and meaningful learning arise in education. What quality of communication is, is described by the students participating in the interviews, which means that a certain breadth of different interpretations are explained and summarized. The result of the study consists partly of quantitative data that comes from the questions received from the CoI-survey and qualitative data from questions where students responded freely. Through interviews and analysis, a number of proposals are presented on how the quality of communication can be improved.

Este trabalho está inserido no projeto de pesquisa "Um Modelo Computacional de Aprendizagem a Distância Baseada na Concepção Sócio-Interacionista de Vygotsky", que propõe um ambiente educacional o qual privilegia a colaboração como forma de interação. Neste projeto, as pesquisas subsidiam a formação de ações para a modelagem de um agente pedagógico animado, utilizado para interagir com os alunos no Ambiente de Ensino/Aprendizagem em desenvolvimento. A modelagem das decisões para estratégia de atuação do agente foi obtida nos arquivos de "log" gerados ao final de algumas discussões na ferramenta de "chat", a partir de fatores relevantes da interação entre grupos de estudantes. O trabalho utiliza-se da experiência realizada com alunos de uma turma da disciplina Algoritmos e Programação, oferecida aos alunos de graduação da UFRGS (Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul), onde foram obtidos alguns fatores considerados importantes na adaptação de um ambiente para os alunos em interação. The experience was carried out with students in Algorithms and Programming offered in the course of Graduation at UFRGS (Universidade Federal Do Rio Grande do Sul) where some considerably important factors were attained in the adaptation of an environment for students in interaction. This thesis is devoted to internal communications in the holding company PNS. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts: communication, internal communication and its tools, methods and barriers. The practical part is focused on the holding PNS and through an anonymous survey analyzes the internal communication and employee views on methods of communication. Based on the results obtained from the survey then evaluate the use of communication tools, efficiency of communication tools and employee satisfaction. The conclusion summarizes the results and proposed some recommendations that could lead to improving the current level of internal communication in the company.

This Master's thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on service marketing (specifically catering services) and the importance of marketing management and planning for small and medium businesses. It also focuses on analysis of the current situation, marketing research and marketing communication. The practical part includes performances of the Domácí těstoviny bistro, the application of the analysis of the current situation and evaluation information from primary and secondary research. The most important, final part of the Master's thesis is to proposal, implementation and evaluation of the communication strategy of the Domácí těstoviny bistro.
