Etika Emmanuela Lévinase / Ethics of Emmanuel Lévinas

HUŠEK, Jakub January 2019 (has links)
The thesis is called Emmanuel Lévinas Ethics and its aim is to explain the ethical concept of this original French philosopher. The first part of the thesis is focused on important influences that were important for Lévinas' philosophical work. The next part of the thesis deals with dialogical personalism as a philosophical direction into which Lévinas is most often classified. The third and most important part deals with the motives that led Lévinas to the elaboration of his ethical theses and subsequently parts of these theses are processed. It turns out that the basic aspect of his theory is the social relationship of the 'I' with the Second, through which the path to transcendence leads .Lévinas' conception is considered as a sort of ethical turn in philosophy and can be considered as a return to man. Properly conceived ethics based on respect, Levinas considers being "prima Philosophia".

Pojetí biblické narace v českém umění 20. století od konce 40. let do počátku normalizace / The concept of the biblical narratives in the Czech art of the 20th century from the late 40th to the beginning of the normalization

Filipcová, Marie January 2015 (has links)
The thesis mainly deals with the specifics of Czech art at the time of communist totality. The main objective was to focus on the artists who due to circumstances found themselves at the edge of a cultural society. They were reconciled with this situation as they refused to betray the beliefs and denominations they confessed. The fundamental common point of their artistic freedom is the choice of themes. In this case it is the biblical theme that was first associated in the fifties with coping with existentialist feelings. And later on with finding artistic expression, which would contain spiritual overlap. In the first part we follow up iconographic parallels. In the second part we deal with individual authors and contexts that determined their artistic creation. In the group of authors are those who are engaged systematically in themes. Among others A. Divis, B. Reynek, I. Sobotka, V. Novakova, M. Medek, J. Koblasa and R. Piesen. In conclusion there is a treatise on contemporary philosophical trends that are connected with creation of our authors.

Halíková, Petra January 2012 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the topic of the economic education in the 50s of the 20th century. The issue is analyzed on the example of the University of Economics in Prague. The establishment of the University of Economics became an important milestone for the economic education in Czechoslovakia. The University of Economics was established in 1953 on the basis of the governmental regulation from 19th August 1952 No. 40/1952 Coll. regarding another changes in the organization of universities. It was stated that the studies would be for four years and the students would be able to choose from five faculties. This school was set up after the previous difficult development on the ground of the universities. The establishment of the University of Economics forewent cancelation, renaming and the establishment of different universities. These universities also concentrated on schooling in the area of economics. The legacy of the University of Economics can be seen in the continuity to the venerable University of Commerce, which belonged among the successful universities in our state. Furthermore, it undoubtedly helped to develop the origins of economics as a branch of science. The schooling on the universities in the 50s was influenced by Marxist-Leninist ideology, which was perceived as general truth at the time. The aim of the thesis is to clarify whether the University of Economics contributed to the development of the economic education in the 50s. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the applied methodology. The applied methodology is a collection of knowledge - a social history. Moreover, there are discussed institutions and legislations foregoing the establishment of the University of Economics. In the practical part of the thesis is described the state of economics as a science in the 50s in Czechoslovakia and the importance of Marxism-Leninism and political economics for economy. Nájemník, Václav January 2018 (has links)
Title: The second life of Zdeněk Nejedlý in Czech historiography and culture Author: Mgr. Václav Nájemník Supervisor: doc. PhDr. Ivana Čornejová, Csc. Department: The History and History Didactics Department Keywords: Zdeněk Nejedlý, second life, methodology, reception, historiography, culture, communism, totalitarianism, literature, art, Bedřich Smetana, Alois Jirásek Abstract: The following dissertation deals with the "second life" of Czech historian, musicologist, reviewer and politician Zdeněk Nejedlý (1878-1962). Its aim is not to elaborate a new biography, but to describe and analyse the influence of this personality on Czech historiography and culture during the communist totalitarian system. His influence is usually perceived as very strong, but seems to have changed over time, and moreover weakened. An important topic will also be the development of the attitude of historians, writers and other cultural personalities to the personality and work of Zdeněk Nejedlý in the context of Czech history in the second half of the twentieth century. The purpose of the work is to show that the personality of Zdeněk Nejedlý is not the only negative factor that worked for society, but that he himself participated actively in the creation of this image. Finally, it also appears that the "second life" of some of...

Jonáš klub jako intelektuálně-kulturní platforma v dobách (ne)svobody / Jonáš club as an intelectually cultural platform in the times of (the lack of)freedom

Praibišová, Eva January 2022 (has links)
This thesis deals with history, evolution and the activity of the cultural club of kindred spirits: Jonas club. Deeper attention is laid upon the question of mechanisms by which the so-called islands of freedom were constituted in the 1970s and 1980s. As it seems, Jonas club worked as this kind of free platform, therefore the aim of this thesis is to trace the phenomena which lead to the formation of these islands of freedom. From the methodological perspective the thesis is a qualitative work, which collects the data using the method of oral history. The work is time-framed by the years 1967-1989, therefore from the era of the establishment of the club until the Velvet revolution. The chosen witnesses usually remember most of the so-called normalization period. And the apriori given topics are followed with the aim to comprehend their subjective emic perspective. When it comes to the sources, the work draws upon the magazines which the club publishes from the very beginning of its existence until nowadays. As for the structure of the work, the text is divided into three larger sections, outside of the introduction and conclusion. The first theoretical section presents to the reader the theoretical-historical context. It is followed by the methodological section which not only provides methodology,...

Totalitní kýč a underground. Sémiotický model. / Totalitariankitsch and underground. The semiotic model.

Kubíček, Jan January 2011 (has links)
As a consequence of a process of semiotic totalization of public life in totalitarian societies, a system of social, esthetic, ethic and language norms becomes radically altered. This system is partially described in Totalitarian kitsch section, in chapters called Totality, Kitsch, Art, Language, Esthetics and Myth. In a passage called Underground, totalitarian realism and Egon Bondy's and Ivan Vodseďálek's gauche poetry is interpreted as a model reply on totalitarian society conditions. A concept of total poetry is introduced. We ask a question: what actually total poetry is, if not an art? Eleven answers are being sequentially found: 1. it is a complex of apocryphal texts of socialistic realism, 2. it is a game about art, 3. it is culture at the phase of being born, 4. a method of phenomenological reduction, 5. a language game, 6. de-construction of myth, 7. occupation of game position within totalitarian society, 8. a myth, 9. a semiotic clearance process carried out through semiotic rage, 10. symbolization of reality and realization of symbol, 11. call for a game. In the end, we try to define total poetry in relationship to avant-garde, modern art and postmodernism. Three points have been discussed in a chapter called Kitsch and underground: 1. recapitulation of acceptation of Egon Bondy's and...

Role sochařství v oficiálním umění totalitních režimů: srovnání NDR a ČSR 1948 - 1968 / The role of sculpture in the official art of totalitarian regimes: DDR and ČSR 1948 - 1968 compared

Břízová, Daniela January 2018 (has links)
The dissertation is dedicated to the under-researched subject of the official sculpture in the DDR and ČSR in the time-frame 1948-1968. By evaluating the material on a broad background of the art historical, historical, cultural and ideological determinants, the dissertation endeavour to provide an accurate insight into the internal processes of the cultural machinery of the Socialist states with regard to sculpture and sculptors. The comparative character of the dissertation contributes to the understanding of the critical questions of art historical research of the period - such as the (in)authenticity of the local varieties of Socialist Realism and relatedness to the SSSR Socrealism, dates of the Socrealism existence, engagement of modernist sculptors, principles of the state/artist relationship or the second life of the Socrealist sculpture.

OBRAZ DISIDENTA V ČESKÉ DOKUMENTÁRNÍ TVORBĚ PO ROCE 1989 / THE IMAGE OF DISSIDENT IN CZECH DOCUMENTARY FILM AFTER 1989

Kohout, Martin January 2015 (has links)
The work is attempting to describe the mental image of a dissident, the way it was most oftenly interpreted in the post Velvet revolution period films known to the public or regularly shown on the televion screens. For this purpose was chosen 53 films, which were devided according to their general interpretation and impression. I followed with an analyzation of the montage and bulding elements, that are used in these films, most oftenly shaping the opinion of the general public. The interpretations and contents of these films were compared to the results of the social-sientific research on the nature of normalization period and the dissent. Also these generally popular films were compared with the works standing outside of the mainstream documentary film, about the topic of dissent or previous regime in general. This theses is therefore refering to the problems of interpretation of the previous regime, normalization and the role of dissent in czech society.
