Analýza chyb a možností zlepšení frázového strojového překladu z angličtiny do urdštiny

Ata, Naila January 2011 (has links)
This thesis evaluates the translation quality of phrase-based machine translation system. It explains the translation error annotation scheme to manually annotate errors related to English to Urdu translation system. The primary goal of the thesis is to experiment with different heuristic in order to improve the translation quality based on through manual analysis of 200 test sentences. Different hueristics such as (1) pre-processing of input English, such as word reordering, (2) preprocessing the training corpus in order to improve word alignment, (3) using additional factors (in Moses factored translation) to better model target-side morphological coherence are applied and their impact on the translation quality is evaluated.

Typy jazykových cvičení a jejich využití ve vybraných učebnicích češtiny pro cizince / Types of Language Exercices and their Distribution in Selected Textbooks of Czech for Foreigners

Kubeková, Michaela January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation focuses on exercises contained in textbooks of Czech for foreigners and compares the frequency of each type of exercise in selected textbooks. The first part of this dissertation examines related theoretical approaches, including general pedagogical concepts of textbooks and exercises as well as some possible ways of exercise classification. Where appropriate, the more specific approaches of teaching languages are included. The second part of this dissertation deals with the main topic of this dissertation which is frequency analysis of certain exercise types conducted on seven textbooks of Czech for foreigners. The main analysis criterion was suitability of each type of exercise for practising specific language areas and communicative skills. This part further provides detailed analysis method description (including the method of selection of specific textbooks for analysis) and the analysis results. By way of conclusion this dissertation compares all textbooks and seeks to provide some recommendations for teachers who work with these textbooks.

Kolonizace habitatů neofytem Impatiens glandulifera a odhad faktorů limitujících jeho rozšíření / Habitat colonization by neophyte Impatiens glandulifera and estimate of factors limiting its spread

Marková, Zuzana January 2012 (has links)
Invasive spread of neophyte Impatiens glandulifera in central Europe started approximatelly eighty years ago. First records of dense cover stands come from belt stands in riparian habitats. The scale of invaded habitats and degree of the dominance of I. glandulifera is more diversified nowadays. This thesis is objected on the dominance and fertility of I. glandulifera within different habitat types and scale of invaded habitats in different parts of invaded range within Europe (i. e. in Czech Republic and Switzerland). The results show that the height and cover (substitutes for biomass and dominance) of this neophyte (i) correlates with the character of invaded vegetation (ii) relates to the degree of hemeroby (a measure of human impact) negativelly, and (iii), of course, both the growth and dominance are positively affected by nutrient content. Fertility does not differ among the types of invaded habitats, but goes up with the height of I. glandulifera and decreases with its cover. Invaded habitats comprises ruderal and riparian vegetation, but also wet maedows, forest clearances, beach and slope forests or weed vegetation.

Dobývání znalostí z dat pomocí kopulí / A study of applying copulas in data mining

Ščavnický, Martin January 2013 (has links)
Title: A study of applying copulas in data mining Author: Martin Ščavnický Department: Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathe- matical Logic Supervisor: RNDr. Ing. Martin Holeňa CSc., Department of Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematical Logic Abstract: Copulas are functions that describe the relationship between a multivariate distribution function and its marginals. They provide a way to model multivariate distribution functions, and are extensively used in finance and studied in data mining. In practice, there are many different copula families and no standard way for choosing the right one. In our work, we compare suitability of different copula families in data mining. We fit classification data using 8 copula families and compare them using 3 mea- sures of fit. We also use a classification algorithm based on copulas and compare its accuracy for different copula families. The results indicate that elliptical copulas fit our data better, but hierarchical Archimedean copulas give comparable accuracy in the classification. We also propose and test a modified method for modelling data using hierarchical Archimedean copu- las, which fits some datasets with negative dependence between attributes better. Based on this modified method, we propose a visualization of depen- dence in data and observe...

Vývoj projevů osobnostních rysů: studie na hraboši polním (\kur{Microtus arvalis}) / The development of an expression of personality traits: the common vole (\kur{Microtus arvalis}) study

URBÁNKOVÁ, Gabriela January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this study was investigate the development of behaviour of common vole in usually used personality test - Open Field test. This study also used a new behavioural approach ? behavioural reaction norms - to investigate the relationship among personality traits, behavioural plasticity and body weight and chosen social characteristic. There were found the effects of adult body weight and litter size on individual behavioural plasticity and also the negative correlation between personality traits and behavioural plasticity, signaling the different level of habituation dependent on personality traits.
