This thesis is concerned with public procurement system in Ukraine. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the system with a focus on the risks, which are facing foreign applicants in public procurement. The paper presents the various elements of the procurement system: Creating and implementation of public procurement policy, regulation of public procurement; authorization and approval of procurement; realization of public procurement; feedback. In the thesis, a case study with the company Kvazar Plus has been realized. This company has great experience with the Ukrainian procurement. The results of the case study have been compared with the analysis of the World Bank. Case study confirmed some of the problems of the procurement system: Poor communication of the Ministry of Economy as the responsible body, hasty selection procedures due to the late receipt of funds into the budget, frequent delays of payments to candidates, lenghty provision of necessary documents, bank guarantee, previously often needed, strong competitive manufacturers with lower quality but cheaper goods and often disadvantageous contract terms for applicants. Other challenges for the candidate are: frequent change of legislation, public procurement duty of state enterprises, lobbying of the Ukrainian competition, pre-selected winner of some contracts and corrupt customs administration, which complicates and delays the delivery of goods to Ukraine.

This thesis will attempt to answer the question: A Culture in Crisis or Cultural Transformation? - The Case of Lviv?s Cultural Actors. The intention of this work is to critically assess the state of culture in Ukraine and to determine who are the real actors impacting cultural development in the country. The present study provides a brief overview of cultural legislation from independence to present-day as well as identifies the private and civil actors engaged in cultural activities in the country. Finally, in the framework of a case study, the thesis examines cultural development at the local level by taking the city of Lviv as an example.

The theoretical part contains a detailed analysis of selected literature related to geopolitics, political geography, Ukrainian history and present. In addition to describing linguistic, religious structure of the population and results of the Ukrainian elections in 2004. Theoretical part also describes the geopolitical situation in Europe, the structure of Ukraine and the Ukrainian crisis issue for November 2013 - March 2014. The practical part of the thesis investigates through interviews opinions and attitudes of Ukrainians in the Ukrainian crisis and the future development of the country.

Currently, the tourism industry is one of the most dynamically developing forms of international trade in services. The development of international tourism leads to the development of economic infrastructure. Thus, international tourism is seen as one of the most promising industries. The specifics of the tourism as a sector of the economy lies in the fact that it combines in itself a number of sectors, such as transport, communications, hotels, banks, entertainment, etc. In some countries, tourism is one of the most important articles of foreign trade and the intraeconomic activities. The current study aimed at investigating the current situation of domestic tourism industry in Ukraine. Strategic analysis which is presented in this thesis consists of the examination of the importance of tourism sector, determination of structural problems and challenges which industry currently face. Moreover, present study explores the future strategies for further domestic tourism development

This thesis deals with the creation of the project of development cooperation, which was based on the feasibility study. The aim this thesis is create the project proposal development aid, its aim will be independence and especially secular sustainability of candles workroom in the city Vyshkovo in Ukraine. This thesis is divided in to three parts, theoretical part, where are detail information, which describe the given topic, practical topic, in this part is contained the analysis of the chosen area and identification of project. And a last part, within the framework of which was created the feasibility study. To writing the whole thesis I used all information from interviews, participating and non-participating observation. All of this information were taken on the base of practical training in Ukraine.

The aim of my diploma thesis was to describe the situation in the sphere of mutual tourism between the Ukraine and the Czech Republic and to refer to a possible trend in the future. The outputs should be useful mainly for people, who work in the sphere of tourism. The Ukraine is becoming stronger recently and the effective demand of Ukrainian people is going up, too. Over the way the Ukrainian is becoming a popular destination for tourism.

The graduation thesis deals with the specifics of the marketing strategy of a middle-sized machinery company on the Ukrainian and Russian market. The business environment and opportunities in machinery in both Eastern countries are described as well as the risks on these unstable markets are emphasized. The company's entrance strategy follows and it is completed with the evaluation and recommendation.

This thesis deals with the development of mutual trade between the Czech Republic on one side and Russia, China, Ukraine and India on the other side in the last decade, focusing on export from CR to the chosen countries. It also includes a comparison of the main macroeconomic and demographic indicators describing these countries and a comparison of trade-policy terms. Furthermore it gives some recommendations to Czech exporters for their preparation for trade negotiations in the chosen countries.
