Orientador: José de Souza Rodrigues / Coorientadora: Arminda Eugênia Marques Campos / Banca: Renato de Campos / Banca: Marco Antonio Carvalho Pereira / Resumo: A pesquisa teve o propósito de utilizar o Sistema Nacional de Avaliação do Ensino Superior (SINAES) como referência para propor um sistema de avaliação interna de cursos de licenciatura presencial ofertados pelo Instituto Federal Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Roraima (IFRR), contribuindo para melhorar a gestão de cursos de licenciatura do Campus Boa Vista do IFRR. A pesquisa é exploratória, sendo sua abordagem de cunho qualitativo e seu método o estudo de caso, a fim de identificar as melhores práticas de avaliação de outras IES compatíveis com o Sinaes. Foram realizadas entrevistas com gestores dos cursos de Licenciatura para verificar o conhecimento que tinham sobre avaliação e a legislação pertinente, além de obter sugestões de indicadores para subsidiar a elaboração de uma proposta preliminar de sistema de avaliação para os cursos de Licenciatura com foco em 3 dimensões: organização didático-pedagógico; corpo docente e instalações. Os instrumentos de avaliação para discentes e docentes, da proposta preliminar, foram aplicadas ao curso de Educação Física para analisar a capacidade do instrumento em detectar possíveis problemas ou apontar necessidades de melhorias nos cursos, segundo as dimensões supracitadas. Quanto a estes aspectos, observou-se que o instrumento tinha esta capacidade, pois foram identificadas fragilidades no curso com relação às dimensões mencionadas anteriormente. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The purpose of the research was to use the National System for the Evaluation of Higher Education (SINAES) as a reference to propose a system of internal evaluation of undergraduate courses offered by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Roraima (IFRR), contributing to improve the management of undergraduate courses at IFRR Campus Boa Vista. The research is exploratory, being its qualitative approach and its method the case study, in order to identify the best practices of evaluation of other HEI compatible with Sinaes. Interviews were conducted with managers of undergraduate courses to verify the knowledge they had about evaluation and the relevant legislation, as well as to obtain suggestions for indicators to support the preparation of a preliminary proposal for an evaluation system for undergraduate courses with a focus on 3 dimensions: didactic-pedagogical organization; role of teachers and infrastructure. The evaluation instruments for students and teachers of the preliminary proposal were applied to the Physical Education course to analyze the ability of the instrument to detect possible problems or to point out needs for improvements in the courses, according to the abovementioned dimensions. Regarding these aspects, it was observed that the instrument had this capacity, because weaknesses were identified in the course with respect to the previously mentioned dimensions. The other point analyzed was the possible improvements and the validation of the instruments, in which they were analyzed by evaluators registered in BASIS.
