The amount of prizes, awards and rankings are increasing in today's society. Therefore, it is interesting to look at how these affects companies and their work with employer branding. This thesis is designed to investigate whether there is one ranking in particular that affect companies and how much it affects them. Comparing these with a prize in Japan, taking cultural differences into account, gives us a clear answer. / Mängden priser, utmärkelser och rankingar ökar i dagens samhälle. Därför är det inressant att se till hur dessa påverkar företag och deras arbete med employer branding. Denna uppsats är designad för att udnersöka ifall en specifik ranking påverkar detta arbete och till vilken grad. Det jämförs även med ett pris i Japan där vi med hjälp av kulturella förklaringar finner svaret vi letar efter.
