This Master thesis deals with construction design of pop-up turntable with load capacity 120 tons and 1500 mm stroke. The driveline will supply by combination of hydromotor and planetary gearbox.The first part of this thesis deals with research in the field of current offer of pop-up turntables and construction elements used in pop-up turntables.Then is acceded to design of 3 different construction variants, of which is chosen one based on evaluation properties of each variant. After this part, follows on constuction design of chosen variant, including both desinging and calculating part. Part of the thesis is also required technical drawing documentation.

This work deals with the determination of the heat transfer coefficient in small channels with a rotating wall. The research part of the thesis is focused on specific geometry, namely labyrinth seals used in rotary machines. Existing criteria equations determining heat transfer coefficients and other parameters in these specific geometries are described. The central part describes the built experimental device for the determination of values of heat flows and heat transfer coefficients on both stator and rotor for given airflow and rotor speed. The following section is devoted to presenting the results of the performed experiments with the corresponding criteria equations. The next part describes the basic mathematical models of inverse heat conduction problems. Calculations of heat flux using these inverse methods are performed and compared with reference heat flux sensors.

The subject of this diploma thesis is designing a way of substituting pneumatic drives with electrical actuators for mechanical movements in a headlights tester. The thesis also contains a theoretical introduction to the issue in the first part. Substitution variants are assessed considering chosen parameters and evaluated using multi-criteria evaluation method. Two final designs are compiled based on the evaluation results and processed into the 3D model of the tester. Drawings are produced for these solutions. In conclusion, a recommendation derived from achieved results is given to the tester manufacturer, ELCOM a.s.

The aim of this master´s thesis was the design of a small hydraulic press for bio-briquettes according to predetermined parameters. The theoretical part presents the current situation in terms of biomass processing, briquette production and a description of briquetting presses. The practical part deals with solutions and detailed structural design of the selected alternatives. Models and drawings were created in the SolidWorks 2011.

This diploma thesis deals with the optimized design solution and support housing proposal for a flexographic printing deck including the printing and anilox units. The support housing must be appropriately dimensioned to counteract the shock loads that occur during the printing process. At first, the thesis analyzes the impact load and the resulting size of loading forces. The support housing proposal is designed to resist these forces then.

This thesis describes the situation of French media during World War II and after its end. It compares the degree of collaboration in the territory occupied by Nazi Germany and in the area administered by Vichy government with Marshall Pétain as its head. The work notes that the Vichy government gradually becomes pro-German. It also emphasis on the Resistance movement as the new French media arises just of Resistance press. After the Liberation extensive trials with collaborators were carried out. This work is focused on the purge held in media especially. It explains the re-creation of new French press on Resistance press basis, politically mostly left-winged. The field is evenly professionalized - schools arise, the technical equipment is improved, women have been entering the editorial departments. But the shaky political situation, including the threat of the Cold War, results in a crisis of the political press. Journalists react by putting emphasis on truth and facts, and create, within co called new left tendency, platform for emerging democracy. The press of entertainment (sports and women's magazines, e.g.) is also developed as reaction to politics. Radio broadcast and telecast are slowly growing after the Liberation. However military conflicts in colonial areas (Indochina, Algeria, etc.)...

The Organization of Repatriation of Displaced Persons in Czechoslovakia after World War II. Bc. et Bc. Jana Kasíková Abstract Analyzing the social aspects of the repatriation process of those forced out of their home countries to Czechoslovakia during WW2, this thesis first describes the communication and cooperation of the Czechoslovakian exile government in London with international organizations, particularly with UNRRA and SHAEF. Furthermore, the social, health, transportation and financial impact of creating and maintaining the supporting structures for repatriating displaced persons is explored, with both governmental and non-governmental perspective. Special attention is given to the participation of the general public, e.g. donations, volunteering, media coverage and public relations. The final chapter then explores the organizational structure of the repatriation process in Czechoslovakia. Specific communication between Czechoslovakian and French institutions is presented as an insight into international cooperation. Title Opinions of a German about the value-shifts in the society after the Second World War. Interpretation of the novel "Clown" by Heinrich Böll and its film adaptation Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the novel The Clown (1963) by an important representative of the German post-war literature Heinrich Böll and its film adaptation (1974) of the same name by a Czech director Vojtěch Jasný. The first part of the thesis presents author's life, literary work as well as the roots of his broadly humanistic view of life, which are closely interlinked with his strong Christian belief and his personal value system. The main target of the thesis is a thorough interpretation of the novel, in which author's critical viewpoint on the socio-cultural development of the post-war German society is very strongly reflected. The author's sharp satirical tone in this novel and the very evident anticlericalism are being looked at and explored in terms of the biblical motto of the novel and its main message. The aim of the final chapter is to point out the main differences between the novel and the film adaptation. The Diploma Thesis deals with the explanation and the effective solution of the initial problems during a production line implementation of different type in the existing process. In order to make the production economical effective and correspondent with decided standards and customer requirements, the thesis is based on the identification and elimination of abnormal phenomenon by new production line implementation for bimetallic barrels.
