The topic of my work is assigned outstandingly broadly and provides many possible directions of where to aim the work. During my research I focused on aspects that are usually handled mainly by private constructors, during constructions of smaller extends. In first chapter I tried to define the terms, which I was going to be working with further in my thesis, primarily from the reason that their usage in Czech law is unsystematic and sometimes even confusing. In second chapter I characterised private law entitlement to build with the focus on the ownership of the land and old-new institute of emphyteusis, which was reinstated into Czech law by the Civil Code form 2012. The third chapter deals with the regulation of construction lands in public law beginning with the land use planning up to the verification of basic conditions after completion. Fourth chapter focuses on the cadastre, about the principles used on its operation and on proceedings related to it. Last, fifth chapter briefly describes taxation of the lands especially targeting the property tax.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the legal regulation of contract of work in construction industry, especially the regulation contained in the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. I also focused on main changes connected with passing the new Civil Code and I clarified the essence of some new legal institutions. This thesis is divided into 9 chapters; some of them are further divided into minor sections. Besides that the thesis includes Content, Index of Abbreviations and Bibliography. First chapter focuses on setting the aim of this thesis and then the historical context of contract of work, its development from the antiquity to concurrence. Contemporary regulation of contract for work is being compared to the contract of purchase and I describe the essentials of contract for work, in particular contracting parties, their rights and duties and the subject of work. In the fourth chapter I focus on the finalization and disposition of the work, according to the Civil Code the work is finished only if it is proven that it can be used for its purpose. Next I analyze the price of the work and options that can be agreed by the contract parties in terms of the price and the payments. Diplomová práce sociální a ekonomická analýza rozvoje bydlení Jihomoravského kraje je zaměřena na bydlení a bytovou infrastrukturu kraje. Cílem práce je provést systémový rozbor bytové výstavby v kraji a analyzovat stav bytového a domovního fondu včetně jeho vývoje a struktury bydlení. Bydlení je zvláštní specifikum lidského života a nedílnou součástí ekonomiky státu. Jedná se o potřebu, která je pro člověka nezastupitelná a pokud si ji člověk vlastními silami nedokáže obstarat sám, přichází na pomoc stát. Počáteční část práce je věnována charakteristice a demografickému vývoji kraje. Hlavní blok se zabývá analýzou bytového a domovního fondu, kde jsou vysvětleny i kvalitativní a kvantitativní znaky úrovně bydlení včetně bytové výstavby v kraji. Tato kapitola je úzce provázána s navazující kapitolou sociální spekty bydlení, kde je zmíněno o právu na bydlení, významu sociálního bydlení zejména z hlediska dostupnosti bydlení pro mladé začínající rodiny. Závěr práce formuluje cíle vhodné pro kraj a možná opatření v jednotlivých oblastech bydlení.

This thesis aims to comprehend and analyze the urbanistic development of the Linecká district in the southern part of České Budějovice. This district underwent major development both during and after the 1960's, and many historical houses were demolished and substituted with houses comprised of prefabricated concrete panels. Those buildings are part of the first generation of prefabricated houses in the country of Czechoslovakia. The main street of this area is Lidická třída, where the collective house "Experiment" was built according a design by J. Benda, who also participated the reconstruction of the rest of Lidická třída. An evaluation of its urban concept with regard to the contemporary tendencies of Europe and world architecture is one of the goals of this thesis.

INTRODUCTION This PhD thesis is focused on study of urbanization and urbanization processes in urban regions of Prague and Vienna. The thesis has two major parts. In the first part, general approaches to urbanization and suburbanization research are introduced and results of an analysis of Prague and Vienna urban regions are summarized. The second part consists of six publisher or submitted papers analyzing spatial distribution of population, housing, new housing construction in Prague urban region as well as comparing urbanization in Prague and Vienna urban regions in 1980s and 1990s. The aim of this Diploma thesis is a survey and analysis of housing productin in broader context of transformation period after 1989. The basis of this paper are the expert opinions published in a domestic and a foreign literature. Fundamental method of my research is secundary data analysis published mainly by the ČSÚ and the Eurostat. Although the dominant theme of this paper is housing production, sufficient space is dedicated to the factors, that are influencing it, like historical development, regional, housing, social and economic policies, economic process, society structure, other economical faktors and many more. Extra focus is dedicated to the present problems of housing, particularly to the condition of concrete blocks of flats, on the first sight the most intensive legacy of the past.
