Smrt, posmrtný život a umírání v jazykovém obrazu světa žáků českých a krajanských základních a středních škol / The Linguistic Picture of Death, Afterlife and Dying in Primary and Secondary School Pupils

Wildová, Zuzana January 2019 (has links)
The dissertation The Linguistic Picture of Death, Afterlife and Dying in Primary and Secondary School Pupils is devoted to the reconstruction of the linguistic picture of death in these groups of pupils, its mutual comparison and its comparison with the developed psychological concept of death. Furthermore, it describes how the taboo of this topic manifests itself in the pupils' linguistic picture of death and which modifications of the linguistic picture of the world are shown in the linguistic picture of death among pupils. In the first part, the dissertation deals with the concept of death in language and culture, and thus also with the linguistic and socio-cultural taboo of this phenomenon. We deal with the development of the conception of death in history and also the development of the concept of death of children and youth. The theoretical frame for this work is based on the methods of cognitive linguistics and its approach to linguistic research. We characterize this linguistic approach, its methods and the main representatives in the next part of the work. We use cognitive linguist methods not only for processing but also for collecting language data. In the third part, we analyze system, text and empirical language data. Textual data are derived from texts of intentional literature for...

Barvy v české a ruské frazeologii (Srovnávací analýza sémantiky pojmenování barev na základě korpusových dat a frazeologických slovníků) / Colours in Phraseology of Czech and Russian (Comparative Analysis of Colour Terms Semantics on the basis of Linguistic Corpora and Phraseological Dictionaries)

Timoshchenko, Tatiana January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with basic colour terms (in the conception of B. Berlin and P. Kay) in Czech and Russian idioms. The theoretical framework applied in this research incorporates the main tenets of cognitive semantics (the language is anthropocentric, it is interrelated with the mind, the lexical meaning is motivated by bodily experience of speakers, the categorization as a crucial way of reality interpretation). According to it the semantics of colour terms are presented as a structured mental category that consists of individual concepts (meanings), which are inter- linked with one another. The core of this thesis presents the analysis of the Czech and Russian dictionaries and the corpus data, in terms of which the prototypes of each colour term are revealed and visual schemes of their metaphorical and metonymic meaning extension are charted. The findings lead to designate the similarities and the differences in the meaning of studied terms, in particular to determinate some features, which are peculiar for linguistic worldview of Czech and Russian.

Další vzdělávání gymnaziálních učitelů geografie v Karlovarském kraji / Further education of secondary-grammar-school geography teachers in Karlovy Vary region

Fenklová, Eva January 2011 (has links)
The master thesis focuses on further education of secondary-grammar-school geography teachers in the Karlovy Vary region. The topic has been studied in detail using a qualitative research in the form of multiple case studies of semi-structured interviews of persons relevant to further education in the studied region. The qualitative research conducted brings a wide range of data relevant to the approaches taken by management of different schools and geography teachers to further education, opportunities for further education in the Karlovy Vary region, and the subsequent transfer of its results to the geography curriculum. Based on the data collected from the persons asked, a proposal for a possible expansion of the further education of secondary-grammar-school geography teachers in the Karlovy Vary region was drafted. Tvorba školního vzdělávacího programu pro obor výtvarná výchova / Creating a school curriculum for majoring in art education

Círová, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
Title: Výtvarná výchova ve školním vzdělávacím programu pro 2. stupeň základní školy Author: Bc. Kateřina Círová Department: Katedra výtvarné výchovy Supervisor: PhDr. Leonora Kitzbergerová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The subject of my thesis is the creation of an art education curriculum for the sixth year at the second level of primary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I first analyze the concept of art education in terms of its development and changes over time. Then I analyze the concept of the visual field in relation to the structure of the curriculum within the characteristics of Art and Culture for the second level of basic education. I look deeper at creating educational content in relation to specified educational goals. In the last chapter of the theoretical portion, I define the concept of specific teaching methods for teachers of art education. In the practical part of my thesis, I apply the educational content of the field of art education to the program of teaching art education at the second level of primary school with regard to the teacher's conception of art education. In the empirical part, I focus on the reflexive practices of the teacher in the framework of action research. I emphasize the factors that influence the teacher's approach to teaching. I present the...

Holá minulá příčestí v pre- a postpozici / Bare -ed participles as modifers

Marek, Jiří January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with the modification of nouns by bare past participles in the pre- and post- head positions and uses authentic examples from the written component of The British National Corpus. The aim is to describe the possibility of corpus excerption of this construction and to qualitatively compare participles in both positions using examples with context. In the first step, a simple search query was entered to retrieve bare past participles in the postnominal position with the result of 21,437 concordance lines which were then manually filtered. The resulting 14,529 lines were used to obtain a random sample of 400 lines which was again manually filtered. The resulting Sample 1 of 247 lines was described quantitatively in terms of the left and right context of the noun phrase and in terms of the head nouns. Sample 1 contained 118 unique participles, from which 10 were randomly selected for a qualitative description (Sample 2; 70 concordance lines per position, 140 lines in total). Sample 2 was then described in terms of the presence or absence of determiners, in terms of the types of definiteness, reference and restrictivity. An interesting feature is the presence of quantifiers, and the generally implied quantificational meaning of the construction. Semantics and the possibility to occur...

Aspekty propouštění pracovníků z organizace z pohledu zaměstnavatele i zaměstnance. / Aspects of employees dismissal from the organization from the perspective of the employer and the employee

Zelinková, Kateřina January 2014 (has links)
and key words Abstract This diploma thesis is a contribution to the mapping of the issue of involuntary employee departures from organizations with an emphasis on the aspect of dismissal organizations and the dismissal individual. Thematically, the work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part deals with issues related to the nature of work and the importance of work in human life. It clarifies the traditional motives that encourage a person to perform a paid work in order to better understand the consequences of its loss. It provides insight into the legislative framework of employment termination with focus on the types of termination, which in fact represent dismissals. These data are followed by text that introduces the reasons for which the employee can be dismissed, since these reasons play an important role in next phases of dismissal. Since the dismissal of workers (although it may have positive benefits for the organization) is less popular HR activity among the performers and it could be very traumatic for leaving employees, it is common to prevent it by HR planning or through incentives for voluntary departures. These potentialities are characterized more in detail in next passage. The role of the Human Resources department and senior staff during dismissals...

K problémům členění na významy v překladovém slovníku / On Sense Division in a Bilingual Dictionary

Hagenhoferová, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the dividing the dictionary entry into several "sub-meanings", i.e. with the sense division, and with the closely related ordering of these "sub-meanings", i.e. with the sense ordering, with the bilingual passive German-Czech dictionary in the centre of interest. This thesis deals shortly also with the discriminating the senses by different means, i.e. with the sense discrimination. With these three subjects chronologically following the lexicographic decisions the matter of equivalence and the understanding of the term of meaning are correlated. In the theoretical part of this thesis the specifics of the sense division and the sense ordering in the monolingual and in the bilingual lexicography are introduced, in the practical part of this thesis the possibilities of the sense division and the sense ordering are exemplified with ten chosen substantive lemmas prepared for the Large German-Czech Academic Dictionary in progress. For every lemma the most suitable arrangement of the lemma is suggested, which is then compared with the corresponding dictionary entry in the source dictionary Duden - Deutsches Universalwörterbuch. The differences between the arrangements of the microstructure illustrate the necessity of the revision and eventual modification of the adopted structure...

Jazykový obraz nohy/nohou v češtině / The linguistic picture of the leg/legs in Czech

Čurdová, Veronika January 2011 (has links)
The thesis is a contribution to the study of designations of the human body in the Czech language and is based on contemporary theories and methods of cognitive and cultural approaches to language. It focuses on that part of reality which is called noha / nohy by members of Czech linguistic community. First, two terminological perspectives from which the leg / legs can be seen were comapared: the natural perspective of the linguistic picture of the world and the scientific medical perspective. The medical perspective tends to categorize parts of the body very precisely, it also analyses deep structures of the leg / legs. In contrast the natural perspectives only the surface of the leg / legs and distinguishes those categories which are significant for humans and their existence in the world. In the main chapter we attempt to define the meaning of the Czech noha / nohy and of parts of the leg / legs by analysing definitions in Czech monolingual dictionaries, etymology of words, derived words and compounds, synonyms and especially phraseology. Based on the analysis of these sources we determined the systemic connotations and connected semantic profiles. We set down four semantic profiles: 1) appearance of leg / legs; 2) leg /legs as a part of the human body; 3) leg / legs as a means of movement...

Syntax složených adjektiv v překladovém slovníku / Syntax of Adjective Compounds in a Bilingual Dictionary

Schmidtová, Iva January 2013 (has links)
The aim of the given thesis is to expound the problem of syntax processing by creating adjectival compounds in dictionary entries for the Large German-Czech Academic Dictionary. Assuming that exactly these words, which belong to the complicated vocabulary items, cause difficulties for foreign speakers with text comprehension and text production. It is based on the nature of German language, which makes many compounds, as opposed to in Czech language. Not only are the meanings of these words revealed to be problematic, but also their usage. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of adjectives as word class, and because each word always has its context, attention will be primarily focused on the adjectival valency. Previously, only the valency of verbs and substantives has been discussed. When a native speaker automatically knows these syntax structures and even when, in case of foreign language, there could exist structural similarities between the source and target language, the structures ought consequently to be given in the dictionary. In some mono- or bilingual dictionary the user should find complex informations for word searched. The practical part involves analysis of ten chosen adjective compounds, which shows how the valency structures are...
