Para tal, foram utilizados 08 atletas triatletas que realizaram uma performance máxima (contra relógio) de 5km, em dias distintos nos seguintes ciclos-simuladores: CompuTrainer Pro® (resistência eletro-magnética), Cycleops Fluid® (resistência de fluido) e Tranz-X JD-111L® (resistência magnética). Para o teste de campo os atletas realizaram da mesma forma uma performance de 5km em um velódromo de 333,3 metros de extensão. Todos os testes foram realizados com a bicicleta dos atletas. A freqüência cardíaca (FC) foi registrada durante todos os testes. Ao final de cada teste, foram coletadas amostras de sangue (25?l) da ponta do dedo para determinação da concentração sanguínea do lactato. A percepção de esforço também foi avaliada após cada performance. Para comparações da performance de 5km, assim como da freqüência cardíaca, concentração de lactato sanguíneo e percepção de esforço entre os ergômetros e o velódromo, foi utilizado o teste ANOVA para medidas repetidas. Para realizar testes de correlação entre as variáveis, foi utilizado o teste de correlação de Pearson. A significância para as comparações estatísticas foi estabelecida como p< 0,05. A v5km entre Velódromo, Computrainer e Tranz-x não apresentaram diferença significativa (36,8±1,7 km.h-1; 36,1±2,0 km.h-1; 37,2±1,7 km.h-1 respectivamente), enquanto que a v5km do Cycleops (33,7±1 km.h-1) subestimou a performance do velódromo. Não foi encontrada correlação significativa entre as 4 condições analisadas. A [LAC], FC, PSE não apresentaram diferenças estatísticas. A partir dos dados desse estudo, conclui-se que os ciclo-simuladores possuem limitações quando utilizá-los para predição de performance de 5km em relação ao velódromo, mas essas limitações não descartam a viabilidade de serem utilizados como ferramentas de treinamento e monitoramento de treinamento / Abstract: This study aimed to compare the performance of triathletes in three cycles-simulators available commercially and also in a field test conducted in velodrome. To this end, were used 08 triathletes who underwent a procedure maximum performance (time trail) of 5km, on different days in the following cycles-simulators: CompuTrainer Pro® (electro-magnetic resistance), Cycleops Fluid® (fluid resistance) and TranzJD-111L-X® (magnetic resistance). To field test the athletes performed a performance of 5km in a Velodrome of 333.3 meters in length. All tests were performed with athlete's own bicycles. The heart rate (HR) was recorded during all tests. After each test, were collected blood samples (25?l) to measure the concentration of blood lactate. The subjective worker ratings were evaluated after each performance. To compare the performance of 5km, as well as heart rate, blood lactate concentration and subjective worker ratings (SWR) between the cycles-simulators and the Velodrome, ANOVA were used. To perform tests of correlation between variables, were used the Pearson's correlation. Results were considered significant at p< 0,05. The v5km between Velodrome, Computrainer and Tranz-x have no significant difference (36.8 ± 1.7 km.h-1, 36.1 ± 2.0 km.h-1, 37.2 ± 1.7 km.h-1 respectively) while the v5km Cycleops (33.2± 1.7 km.h-1) underestimates the performance of the Velodrome. No correlation was found between the four studied conditions. [LAC], HR, SWR did not differ. With the data of this study, is possible to conclude that the cycle simulator have some limitations when using them to predict a 5km performance over the velodrome, however these limitations do not prevent them to be used as training tools and training monitoring / Mestrado / Ciencia do Desporto / Mestre em Educação Física

The topic of my thesis was to design a sports and recreational complex in Komárov. Its main landmark is a cycling Stadium. This building will fulfill the functions of a modern Stadium in all of the required factors. Its capacity will be for 3 000 spectators. The stadium belongs to the category of buildings, where form follows function, which in this case is primarily to allow high-quality views of the playing surface for the large number of spectators. Specifies the appearance of the stadium facade with a regular deployment transparent concrete columns, which allows around to see what is happening in the stadium and at the same time provides interesting views.

This diploma thesis looks into the area for sport and recreation in Brno-Komárov. The main part is the project of new arena for track cycling for Favorit Brno. Part of the assignment is also the solution for urban plan and redevelopment of the large area in the south of Brno in city district Brno-Komárov. Urban plan design is framed as conversion of the whole space into sport activities area for broad public. The velodrome itself is based on the idea of a bicycle and its parts as architecturally interesting part of the building, in this case particularly lacing of a wheel. Stadium could become new landmark for its surroundings and draw attention of the general public.

The subject of the diploma thesis is an architectural study of a velodrome in Brno Komárov. It is an indoor cycling track which is still missing in the Czech Republic. The whole site of the Hněvkovského sports complex in Komárov was elaborated within the architectural study. The aim of the proposal was to attract a wide range of visitors to the site, so not only buildings for sports were designed. But also two sets of buildings as a modular construction from containers providing premises for rent. The construction of the velodrome was deign as a combination of monolithic reinforced concrete and steel truss structure. The cladding is design from insulated panel system.

The topic of this diploma thesis is the architectural study of the cycling arena – velodrome – as a part of The Hněvkovský sports ground in Brno-Komárov. The new velodrome is situated next to the existing bicycle motocross ground and serves as a facility for the track cycling, indoor cycling and BMX. The core of the velodrome consists of the 250-meter wooden steeply banked track, which, together with other sports ground’s parameters fits the requirements of International Cyling Uninon for hosting international competitions. Cycling arena includes premises for athletes, spectators (stands are designed for 2700 spectators) and Favorit Brno administration and also bicycle storage and service areas. Facility includes also gym, fitness room, wellness and physiotherapy, athletes‘ accomodation. The velodrome is roofed with the arch-formed membrane anchored to a robust bond beam, that is brought to the ground in the front part of the building. This V-shaped bond beam together with the arched membrane geometry defines the building dynamic expression.

The diploma thesis is focused on an architectonic study of cycling stadium in Brno Komárov that shall substitute the current velodrome at Brno´s fair ground that does not conform to current Olympic standards and that shall provide new and better conditions not only for the club Favorit Brno base but also for other enthusiastic sportsmen of track cycling. The study regards also the future adding of another sport, of athletics as Brno has not enough of covered training areas. That is why I add the cycling with this sport in my diploma thesis so that the building can offer its maximum not only to top sportsmen but also occasional sport enthusiasts and to enrich its surroundings to its maximum. The building design uses combination of concrete, steel and glass. Large glass façade is shielded with a great roof overlap that shall provide a natural shielding in summer period. The diploma thesis was preceded with a specialised atelier TG02 that was focused on the development of adjacent surfaces, on the BMX track that should closely cooperate with the new cycling stadium. The specified territory in Komárov Brno presents a great sport potential that shall be developed in the future.

Urban study thesis deals with the more efficient utilization of the Brno Exhibition Centre in the longer term. The natural boundaries of the area in the alluvial plain formed on the northeast Hlinky street and Žlutý kopec, from the south-west street Bauer then head along the river Svratka. Thanks to its location near the city center and direct connection to the Prague highway is an important area ideal for design features of national importance. The aim is to open area all year round to the public and offer a diverse year-round and daily functional use. The effort is in place to attract as many people who will want to return. The original idea is to complete the entire structure of the new buildings in the western part of the terms of the original urban concept axes going from Pavilion A. The territory is divided into four functional zones - exhibitions, sport and recreation , work, education and culture. Additional functions of housing and facilities for the needs of the exhibition as well as other companies. In terms of transport, emphasis is put on pedestrians, cyclists and calmed character of motorized traffic. The area intersects several hiking trails connecting the Hlinky street and Bauerova street.
