Virtualizace prostoru při prodeji bytů na internetu / Space Virtualization in the course of internet sales apartments

Farlík, Jan January 2008 (has links)
This master's thesis is concerned with space virtualization in relation to internet apartment sales as represented by the developer company Finep CZ a.s. . Through an analysis of works of the representatives of the philosophy of media it aims to describe the unequal character of the interaction between the web designers and the web users, when the first one, designing virtual spaces, structures the experience of the second, as the designed virtual spaces embody assumed images of what the potentional clients would like rather than the "real" space.

HelenOS jako Xen hypervisor / HelenOS as Xen hypervisor

Dolejš, Jan January 2012 (has links)
The aim of the master thesis is to create a prototype implementation of the interface of the Xen hypervisor within the HelenOS operating system. The target architecture of this prototype implementation is IA-32. The result of the thesis is a port of HelenOS which can be uses to run the selected para-virtualized domain. The thesis contains a brief introduction to the methods of virtualization and describes the main differences between them. Thesis also describes the parts of the architecture of the Xen hypervisor and the HelenOS operating system, which will be modified in the prototype implementation. The most important part of this thesis is to select of the t testing domain as well as analyze and describe all changes, which were required for the do-main's operation.

Využití virtualizace při přípravě infrastruktury pro testování webových aplikací / Virtualization utilization for automatic infrastructure creation for web application testing

Nepejchalová, Radka January 2016 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis is to approximate some of the currently used techniques and principles within software development. Nowadays, great emphasis is placed on efficiency and quality of teams. Adopting the principles of continuous integration brings multiple benefits, especially for complex projects where many developers work at parallel. There is a greater need to integrate increasing generated code and make sure that the newly formed unit keeps functional. One of the main principles of the continuous integration is regular testing possibly revealing the problems that might occur during production deployment. However, such testing can be very expensive and using virtualization can be the key to reduce these costs. Testing new versions of applications can be made very easily using virtualization. Part of the work is devoted to all these previously mentioned parts. The practical part is then devoted to demonstrate solutions of real problems.

Síťový storage pro účely virtualizace / Network storage for virtualization

Korbelář, Jakub January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on expansion of current KVM virtualization infrastructure with network storage in a web hosting company environment. The first part describes the basics of the network storage field, and the virtualization field as well. This is amended by a description of the current solution in the company, which is going to be expanded. The searching for suitable innovative solution is following, several variants are found, each of them is commented and their advantages and disadvantages are summarized. The realization of the selected solution is implemented, including the testing on the practical part.

Virtual organization as a special cooperation form in the activity field of Mergers & Acquisitions

Hanser, Nicholas January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation aims to provide guidance to research and practice in regards to the co-operation form of the virtual organisation and the insight that virtual organisation forms could prove to be a viable alternative to classic and traditional cooperation forms such as mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and others in business practice. Although the classic and more traditional cooperation forms are widely known and often discussed in the relevant press, the same does not seem to be true for the cooperation form of the virtual organisation. The explanation of the emergence and the theoretical foundation of the virtual organisation are mentioned in this dissertation. After that, typical characteristics and chances and risks of the organisation form follow. Empirical studies with business professionals and stock exchange listed companies in Europe prove that the concept of the virtual organisation is not so widely known in the public and in the business praxis as other classic and traditional cooperation forms. It is shown that on the other hand, many characteristics and aspects of the virtual organisation, as they are described in the relevant business and management theory, can also be found in business praxis and in real life companies. Case studies from modern business praxis will be discussed in order to further highlight the concept of the virtual organisation and its inherent characteristics via real examples from the business world. This dissertation aims to make clear this discrepancy of a lack of public conscious awareness on the one hand and representation of relevant characteristics of virtual companies on the other hand. The comparison with other forms of cooperation shows that virtual corporations can be clearly distinguished from other forms of cooperation, despite the fact that significant similarities and common grounds can be partially observed. The relevance and the potential of the cooperation type of the virtual organisation can have in the present and in the future is also discussed.

Virtualizace odolná vůči chybám / Fault-tolerant virtualization

Herrmann, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
Virtualization is often used as a tool for resource consolidation in the server market. Virtualization is also used to simplify management tasks and provide high availability. However, the ultimate high availability feature, fault-tolerance, has been limited to special and costly hardware and software. This thesis will give an overview of how one can use virtualization tech- nologies to build a fault tolerant system, and show what would be the cost, in the sense of performance degradation when compared to a non-fault-tolerant system. 1

Správa politik MoM pro efektivní auto ballooning

Pavlásek, Martin January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis offers an overview of hypervisors and methods how they manage memory. Next part describes Memory overcommit Manager, design policies for more efficiet utilization of memory with memory ballooning. There are also description and implementation of newly created MoM Simulator. Purpose of this tool is to easily verificate the policies without running on a real hypervisor. In the latest part there are a description and a design of another new tool for managing constants. It allows applying policies on each virtual machine intedependently.
