Kolesnik, Iuliia January 2019 (has links)
The properties of the two surface finishes were studied in this work: the waterborne epoxy lacquer EPOX AQUA V_1301 and solvent-borne alkyd urethane lacquer Jachtlak S-1006 with the regards to their potential applications for the finishing of the wood surfaces of furniture designed for the utilization in public places. It has been found that the dry surfaces formed by these furnishes have physico-mechanical properties that are consistent with the standards, which establish possibilities of their application. Very good antibacterial properties of the formed films without the addition of any auxiliary antimicrobial agents to the Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacterial strains were also determined. The entire tests were carefully described, and their results were discussed in the further text.

Živkov, Martin January 2012 (has links)
The work deals with areas of brain--computer interface (BCI). There is theoretical background described because of the research in the first part. The chapter "Analýza technologie (EEG, EMG)" is conceived generally and clarifies basic theory of EEG and EMG. Chapter "Popis zařízení EPOC neuroheadset" examines specific device used in research especially on the technical and functional side. Section "Analýza praktického využití BCI zařízení Emotiv EPOC neuroheadset" is self-explanatory. The focus of the practical part is influence of factors on the usability of BCI neuroheadset EPOC in the field of information management. These factors have been organized and analyzed. Group of factors connected with humans (physical and psychical) was chosen for the application of the research in which was investigated correlation with the ability to learn how to use neuroheadset EPOC, respectively its BCI element. For the research was used experimental method when a sample of volunteers was tested, undergone questionnaire investigation for acquiring human factors and repeatedly tested for the ability to use BCI element of neuroheadset EPOC. There was found out that the ability to learn how to use BCI correlates with optimism (Pearson's correlation coefficient 0,731 [Pkk] on the level of significance 0,01), stability (|0,648| Pkk on the level of significance 0,01), concentration (|0,638| Pkk on the level of significance 0,01 ), self-efficacy (0,549 Pkk on the level of significance 0,05), spatial perception (0,426 Pkk on the level of significance 0,01) in the research part.

Návrh a realizace měření elektrických vlastností biologických tkání / Design and realzation of electric measurements on biological tissues

Kocová, Lucie January 2013 (has links)
This master’s thesis is focused on the electrical properties of biological tissues and flesh in particular. Their electrical characteristics depend on the physical and chemical parameters that determine the concentration and mobility of ions in metabolic fluids. From the electrical point of view, flesh can be simply substituted by a field of elongated conductive cells which are separated by the insulating membrane from each other. In the next part, the Fricke model is introduced. The model describes the measurement of impedance of the tissue at low and high frequencies. The aim of the work is to assess how the impedance of the dielectric sample is dependent on the frequency of the electrical signal during the optimal aging or ripening of flesh.

Výpočtové modelování mechanických zkoušek kompozitů pryž - ocelové vlákno / Computational modelling of mechanical tests of composites "rubber - steel fibre"

Jarý, Milan January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on realization of a computational model of fibre composite with elastomer matrix and on homogenization of properties of this composite. The work deals with computational modelling of strain-stress states which arise in mechanical tests of composites. The composites investigated by mechanical tests comprise of hyperelastic rubber matrix and steel reinforcing fibres. Computational modelling is carried out at two levels of the model. First, with three-dimensional modelling of fibres and matrix as two different materials and, second, using a homogenized model of composite; this constitutive model describes the composite as a homogeneous anisotropic material. It means that properties of fibres are encompassed into strain energy density by the mathematical formulation of the constitutive model. Further, the work deals with computational modelling of mechanical tests of hyperelastic isotropic materials used for identification of their material parameters and for verification of the selected constitutive model of material. For particular hyperelastic material, simulations of tests were carried out, namely of uniaxial tension, biaxial tension, uniaxial compression, biaxial compression, pure shear and uniaxial tension with constrained transversal strain (planar tension). Parameters of the constitutive model were determined of experimental input data. Verification of the constitutive model was carried out by comparison of the data acquired by experiments with the results of simulations of mechanical tests in FE program system Ansys. Then the authentic constitutive model of material was used for description of matrix behaviour in models of mechanical tests of composite material and results were compared with experimental data. Principal objectives which I want to attain are following: • to acquaint with the constitutive models of hyperelastic isotropic and anisotropic materials and identification of their perameters on base of mechanical tests. • to create computational models of testing specimens of composite “ rubber – steel fibre“ for different fibre arrangements and to use the created computational models in simulations of chosen tests. • to test the possibilities of computational modelling of composites with application of homogenized properties and to compare the results of both approaches. Results which were attained: • the computational models were created with the fibres modelled; the strain – stress characteristics are qualitatively corresponding to experiments, and quantitative difference is 20% - 40% (see (4.3)). • the computational models based on homogenization of properties were tested and gave results corresponding to the models with modelled fibres (see (4.4)) with a good accuracy.

Vliv genotypu na průběh infekcí působených různými druhy čeledi Trypanosomatidae u myši / Genotype influence on development of infections caused by Trypanosomatidae in mouse

Šíma, Matyáš January 2018 (has links)
Parasitic protists of genera Trypanosoma and Leishmania are members of Trypanosomatidae family. In our studies, we investigated genetic influence on infections caused by these parasites in a mouse model. These diseases are on genetic level controlled by quantitative trait loci (QTLs), when the resulting phenotype is controlled by set of genes with small individual effect. As a mouse model for mapping of QTLs controlling these infections, we used recombinant congenic strains (RCS). Each RCS carry unique set of 12.5% of the genome from donor parental strain on genetic background of other parental strain. For mapping of QTLs controlling infections caused by Trypanosoma brucei brucei (T. b. brucei) and Leishmania tropica (L. tropica) and eosinophil infiltration into inguinal lymph nodes after Leishmania major (L. major) infection, we used RCS from CcS/Dem series, where STS is donor strain and BALB/cHeA is strain of genetic background. First, it was necessary to find suitable model strains for mapping. In all three studies, we selected RCS, which exceeded range of monitored phenotype parameters in comparison with any other tested RCS or parental strains. Mice of RCS CcS-11 showed shorter survival after T. b. brucei infection and strain CcS-9 exhibited higher eosinophil infiltration after L. major infection. For...

Problematika výuky množin bodů daných vlastností na ZŠ / The issue of teaching sets of points with given properties at elementary school

HARAZIMOVÁ, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe various methods for examining loci of points of given properties. I have chosen both the classical approach and new technologies such as dynamic geometry software GeoGebra or a programme from CAS (Computer Algebra System). The topic loci of points of given properties is often very difficult for pupils to understand, therefore it is important to look at it from various points of view, to choose interesting application tasks and thus motivate learners in their studies. In this paper I present several suggestions for more attractive and amusing ways of teaching this issue at primary, secondary and university level of education.
