The main aim of the thesis is to propose or initiate how the technology of sewage treatment in village Dyjákovičky can be modified or upgraded. Special attention is paid to the legislative aspects and the efficiency and conditions of treated wastewater (effluent) that goes back to the recipient. Integral part of the thesis is classification of types of wastewaters and most frequent technologies used for wastewater treatment in small or medium size wastewater treatment plants using specific methods of mechanical pretreatment and biological processes. The technology equipment used in Dyjákovičky is described into details. In response to main aim of the thesis, the actual state of the equipment as well as the state of the whole wastewater plant are assessed in order to identify the main risks and threats. Identification of risks and threats also reflects the presumed demographic and legislative development of implementation of technological and operational measures to improve the parameters of treated water into the recipient.

Analýza zdrojů znečištění v povodí víceúčelové nádrže Vranov nad Dyjí a návrh nápravných opatření

The diploma thesis is focused mainly on water quality and water protection on Vranov Water Reservoir. The Vranov Dam is located on the Dyje River in the Znojmo District of the South Moravian Region, near the town of Vranov nad Dyjí. The first part of my work – literary research – is focused on the water pollution problem. Preliminary chapters deal with the industrial and agricultural pollution – pesticides. We discuss the issue of eutrophication and related aspects - nitrogen, phosphorus and Nitrate Directive. Moreover we deal with acidification, acid rain and the presence of drugs in the waters. The following chapter "Characteristics of the area of interest" describes the catchment area and the Vranov waterworks. In the practical part we work with analyzes obtained from Vodárenská akciová společnost, a. s. and Povodí Moravy, s. p. Selected indicators of water quality are evaluated and graphically depicted. We compare the results with the relevant orders and with the expert articles in the discussion, elaborate a risk analysis and evaluate the existing protective measures.

Analýza obsahu vybraných léčiv v čistírenských kalech a posouzení možnosti materiálové transformace čistírenských kalů

The thesis deals with the analysis of medicaments residues in sewage sludge specifically a selected group of analgesics. The analgesic residues (ibuprofen) were determined in the taken inflow, outflow and activated sludge samples and subsequently analyzed by SPE extraction and LCMS method. Obtained data are compared with sewage disposal plant in Brno-Modřice. From the obtained results is clear that a smaller sewage disposal plant does not mean the same as a worse sewage disposal plant. The analyzed data are related to the sewage disposal plant depending on the number of population equivalents. In the practical part of my thesis are introduced especially two sewages disposal plant, namely the waste sewages disposal plant in Třebíč and in Čáslavice, where the possible percentage degradability of medicaments in wastewater is determined according to the obtained laboratory results.
