The thesis deals with the influences that affect water quality in the ponds . It focuses on selected factors which define water quality . These include e.g. the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water , ammonia, etc. To determine the change in water quality in a fish breeding tank, measured quality of water at the inlet of the tank and at its drain. I enter into the analysis and facts about the amount of fish stocking in ponds , basin shape , location of the pond in the countryside , farming in the watershed .

Využití metody kapacitní deionizace pro úpravu vody / Use of capacitive deionization method for water treatment

Capacitive deionization technologies have gained significant attention in recent years. The development and availability of a variety of materials have enabled the growth of research on electrosorption, which makes capacitive deionization increasingly attractive. This technology has a wide range of applications, such as softening, desalination and selective removal, each of which has been the focus of the experimental part of this work. The theoretical part is devoted to the issue of functioning of capacitive deionization, electrode material and especially the specific application. Water desalination is a major issue, given the global shortage of drinking water and the possibility of using capacitive deionization as a competitive method to conventional desalination methods. Conversely, softening and selective removal of ions can pose everyday problems both in the treatment of drinking water or pre-treatment of industrial water and in the treatment of wastewater. In this diploma thesis, it was proved that the method of capacitive deionization can be used to solve all the above problems. Although capacitive deionization is not a commercially available technology in the Czech Republic yet, it can be expected to be used more and more in the future.

Kondenzace vlhkosti u balených potravin v průběhu dopravy a skladování

This thesis deals with the condensation of moisture in the packaged food during transport and storage. The thesis describes changes of food and influences on the products during transport and storage. The main part deals with the water activity, dew point, humidity and modified atmosphere. In the practical part was used yogurt as a sample. There were added ingredients (sugar and salt) to the yogurt and yogurt was then packed into three different atmospheres (free atmosphere, MAP with nitrogen and MAP with carbon dioxide) and after that it was stored at temperature 8°C and 20°C. In these samples were measured water activity, pH and moisture. The results were summarized in charts and graphs. The results show that MAP prevents the condensation at packaged food. It was confirmed that 10% NaCl had the best effect on reduction of water activity.

Main task was to suggest new plan for wastewater management in this village according to the questioner results, as well as to pick a suitable place for the wastewater tratment plant. There is a literature resume on researched topic and description of local natural conditions in the first part of the work. Methodology part deals with current wastewater management condition and data collection method itself. Results of this work will be presented to the community representatives and will help during decision process in wastewater management enhacement plan in Loucka community.

In the general part, I deal with the ways of the sewage treatment in the Czech Republic and with the steps of the treatment. This is also the main topic of this thesis. In the general part, there is also a part dedicated to the use of the sewage sludge. In the practical part and in the conclusion, we can find the technology of the treatment in selected sewage treatment plant, the legislative requirements on the treatment and the comparison with the results of selected indicators. The values are arranged into the tables and graphs.

This diploma thesis deals with water retention in soils with different composition of water stable aggregates. Selection of sampling sites within the locality was based on their different land use and the same pedological-climatic conditions. Four samples were taken from topsoil (25 cm), characterizing 3 different land uses - cropland, grassland and forest land. Samples were subjected to aggregate stability testing by washing on the set of sieves and then their retention properties were checked in the apparatus for measuring the water retention in the soil. Aggregate stability testing proved, that the share of larger sizes water stable aggregates are higher in soils less intensively used (forest land, grassland), while annually cultivated cropland showed their lower share. Retention properties of soils were focused on their effects associated with the formation of runoff during rainstorms. Model water volume (gravitational water), which is released by soil during 24 hours under -1 kPa suction has been examined. The results showed that this quantity is highest in forest land and lowest in cropland.

This thesis pursues an evaluation of sectional trial operation of wastewater treatment plants in Mostiště, where the reconstruction has been started on 1st March 2012. A core of the works consisted of a complete reconstruction and intensification for providing a production of drinking water which suit tigtening law requirements on drinking water quality throughout the whole year and would be appreciated by users of drinking water. The necessity of the reconstruction and completion of a water treatment technological line came out of insufficiency -- worsening of raw water quality, bad technical condition of the whole line and some moral obsolescence of the line and especially of problematic quality of produced water according to specific indexes. An outcome of this thesis is an evaluation of efficiency and functionality of a modernized water treatment plant which is in trial operation for now, with help of chosen indexes controled after each separation step which are statisticaly processed into graphs and verbally rated.

My work deals with the design of land drainage of ornamental nursery, located in a small village in the district of Kolín - Malotice near the town Zásmuky. This study contains four drainage design options that are based on the evaluation of geodetic data, infiltration test pits data (method of filled test pit, single test pit method), hydro-technical calculations of detailed drainage system, functional objects on the drainage network, the financial evaluation of individual proposals and overall evaluation by means of a SWOT analysis.
