ČERVONYJ, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
In this diploma thesis the issue of drainage system influence on water regime of catchment area was solved. The aim of the thesis was to analyze influence of drainage system on specific catchment area using mathematical, hydrological and statistical methods. In the teoretical part, the thesis describes the issue of drainage (specifically the drainage system of area of the Czech republic) and the influence of drainage system on water regime. In the practical part an analysis of the catchment area of Kopaninský creek and subcatchment areas P6, P52 and P53 was performed. At all of those areas, certains parts are dewatered by subsurface systematic drainage system, those parts are described in detail. The runoff coefficients and specific runoff from each subcatchment areas in different time interval were calculated and observed. Runoff separation and precipitation-runoff situation analysis were performed. The results are evaulated in the chapter Results and Discussion.

Chov ryb v rybnících zatížených komunálními vodami / Fish farming in ponds exposed to municipal water management

CHMELICKÝ, Petr January 2017 (has links)
In August 2014 a total die-off of fish stock occurred in Záhumenní velký, a pond with a surface area of 5.85 ha. The investigation of the fish kill revealed that the Jabkenice WWTP located above the pond area had discharged water of inappropriate quality (N-NH4+ -99.3 mg/l-1) into the pond. This event resulted in the monitoring of physical and chemical parameters of water quality, zooplankton sampling and measuring of growth dynamics of fish stock by using control reduction fishing. The survey conducted in 2015 studied three different ponds (Ohrada 0.85 ha, Záhumenní velký 5.85 ha and Vlkava 22.1 ha), located in the fertile lowland areas around Mladá Boleslav where pre-cleaned sewage water from the sewage treatment plants flows. The water samples taken both at the outflow of the waste water treatment plant and in the pond were analysed in an accredited laboratory. The following parameters were examined: BOD5, TN, CODCr, ammoniacal nitrogen, TP, nitrites, nitrates and others.

Vliv antropogenní činnosti na znečištění vybraných vodních nádrží v povodí Jordánu.

ŠÍMOVÁ, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
The master thesis deals with influence of system of water reservois and farming on suface water quality in catchment Košín stream in the Tabor region. There were investigated effect on suface water quality of several watercourses flowing through farmland with markedly different land cover, farming, size of catchment area and different water reservoirs. The fundamental hydrochemical parameters such as content of nutrient, inorganic and organic carbon and undissolved substances were monitored. The water samples were collected from permanent sampling points during the growing season. The investigated compounds were determined in the laboratory by titration, gravimetry and spectrophotometry. Mean, median, interquartile range were determined within the basic descriptive statistics and the data were statistically processed by nonparametric tests. Results showed particularly significant influence of the littoral vegetation and wide strips of tree vegetation as an effective filter, which prevent pollution of surface water by nutrient runoff. In some cases, the land cover was reflected positive impact of vegetation on reducing contamination of the water above the level specified by legislation, therefore vegetation is great importance in the fight pollution of waterways. From the obtained data it is obvious that influence of anthropogenic pollution on surface water is very important, but appropriate land cover can minimalize this impact.

Potenciál krmných směsí a obilovin jako nástroj pro udržení dobré produkce tržního kapra ve vztahu ke kvalitě vody. / The potential of compound feed and cereals as a tool for keeping the production of carp at a good level in relation to the water quality.

MELKA, Václav January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to test the production effectiveness of cereals and compound feed and at the same time, find out what influence they have on the water quality when applied in the semi-intensity carp farming. The feeding test was taking place in the period of 112 days in 10 experimental storage ponds. The feed which was tested, was cereals, extruded feed from the Aller Aqua company with 24% share of protein, pelleted feed glycid type feed with the 12,5% share of protein (KP) and pellet feed glycid type compound feed with 12,5% share of protein and reduced share of phosphorus (KPminus). A tested carp population of the same density was left without any additional feeding, to be fed only on the natural nutrition. Every one of these separated carp populations were fed three times a week in the morning and on the same spot of the fish tank. The testing was taking place twice. The measuring of the parametres of the water (temperature, oxygen, pH) took place once a fortnight, taking samples of the water once a month. At the end of the experiment, the level of phosphorus and the observed production parametres were evaluated. The highest production effectiveness was reached in the carps that were fed with cereals (FCR - Food Convertion Ration 2,41 - 0,46, SGR - Specific Growth Rate 0,54 - 0,07 %.d-1). The lowest production effectiveness was achieved with the pelleted feed KPminus (FCR - 3,72 - 0,30, SGR - 0,39 - 0,02 %.d-1). The highest retention of phosphorus (88%) in the fish biomass was reached with cereals. The lowest retention of phosphorus (60%) was reached in the carps fed with the pelleted feed KP. Feeding carps with tested feeds did not have any significant influence on the water quality. From both the economic and the environmental point of view, the best feed for carp pond farming is cereals.

Účinnost využití vody rostlinami hodnocená pomocí diskriminace izotopu 13C / Water use efficiency of plants measured by carbon 13 isotope discrimination

ZÁLESKÝ, Ondřej January 2011 (has links)
Carbon isotope discrimination (?13C) may be an appropriate measure for determination of the water use efficiency (WUE) of plants. This work confirms the negative correlation of ?13C and WUE in selected genotypes of barley and wheat. It also deals with the suitability of using the observed relationship in breeding of drought resistant crops.

Efekt ponořování předloktí do studené vody na opakované izometrické kontrakce flexorů prstů do vyčerpání u sportovních lezců / Effect of cold water immersion on intermittent isometric forearm flexor contractions to failure in rock climbers

Kodejška, Jan January 2018 (has links)
Title: Effect of cold water immersion on intermittent isometric forearm flexor contractions to failure in rock climbers Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of cold water immersion on intermittent isometric forearm flexor contraction to failure in rock climbers. Methods: Thirty-two climbers (15 male and 17 female) completed three intermittent trials to failure, on a climbing-specific handgrip dynamometer, on three separate visits to the laboratory. For each visit a different recovery strategy was employed: passive recovery (PAS), cold water immersion at 8 řC (CWI 8) or 15 řC (CWI 15). The force time integral (FTI - time of contraction multiplied by the force of contraction) was determined to assess intermittent performance. The tissue saturation index (TSI) and total haemoglobin (tHb) during isometric contractions from near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) were determined to assess hemodynamic changes. Differences between repeated trials and three recovery protocols, derived parameters NIRS, were assessed using repeated measures ANOVA with Bonferroni corrections. Results: There was no significant difference between conditions after trial one. In response to the PAS recovery condition there was a 10% and 22% decrease in FTI in the second and third trials, respectively. The PAS...

Optimalizace a aplikace spektrofotometrického stanovení jodu v půdách. / Optimalization and application of iodine spectrophotometric determination in soils.

HŘIVNÁČ, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
This work deals with the content of iodine in soils, furthermore with obtaining and processing samples from four selected sampling areas, all of which are in the proximity of the Arnoštov settlement in district Prachatice in the foothills of Šumava. The soil samples were obtained from forest, meadow, pasture and fallow soil in 2009 to 2011. The iodine content in the soils was determined by using the spectrophotometric method, which had been optimized for the soil samples. Iodine concentration in lysimeter water was determined by using method inductively coupled plasma - mass spectrometry. The results obtained from each sampling areas were compared with each other and with the results from other areas. Consequently, the iodine concentration results in the soils were compared with the iodine concentration in lysimeter waters. It was found, that the highest iodine content in soils was measured in a sample obtained from Area 1 (meadow), part B in a depth of 16 - 30 cm in June of 2009, namely a content of 8,67 mg of I per kg of dry soil. The lowest content of 1,42 mg of I per kg of soil was found in the area 4 (forest), sample obtained in June of 2010, in the L horizon. By comparing iodine content with iodine concentrations in lysimeter waters, it was concluded that the concentration of iodine in lysimeter waters does not depend on iodine concentrations in soils and that it does not even represent the absolute iodine content in soil, as was determined by comparing the results from Arnoštov with data acquired from Agrovýzkum Rapotín in Jeseníky.
