Prameny radioaktivních minerálních vod v oblasti Lázně Libverda - Świeradów-Zdrój / Springs of the radioactive medicinal water in the Lázně Libverda - Świeradów-Zdrój area

Hrušková, Lenka January 2013 (has links)
The main radionuclide causing high water radiation is 222 Rn with half-life 3.82 days. Concentrations of radon in radioactive mineral water in the Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline Complex are very high and do not correspond with the concentration of uranium in the source rocks. These springs probably well up near the uranium mineralisation. Search for radioactive mineral water started in 2005 in Orlice- Sněžník Dome built by orthogneisses, which was the first promising area for such research. The research continued to the areas of Jánské Lázně and Horní Malá Úpa built by the Krkonoše orthogneisses in the next few years. In the last two years research was conducted in Lázně Libverda. Until then there were only a few known springs with radioactive mineral water. Lázně Libverda-Świeradów-Zdrój area is located in the Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline Complex built by Cambrian/Ordovician orthogneisses and Variscan granite pluton. Jizera orthogneisses and the contact of these two objects were considered to be very promising in terms of finding springs of the radioactive medicinal water. Another criterion for a successful exploration is also an abnormal tectonic deformation of the zone. Uranium exploration was also conducted in 1950s, so we could use data available from the emanatory survey on a scale of 1:5000 and...

Návrh čistírny odpadních vod ve vybraném zemědělském areálu

Viktorinová, Martina January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis presents a design of a wastewater treatment plant for a selected agricultural estate. Its literature research deals with technologies for wastewater treatment plants and relevant legislation. Furthermore, the characteristics of the agricultural estate are discussed in relation to the given area. The original state of wastewater treatment is presented and analysed both in terms of qualitative and quantitative agricultural data. Parameters of a new wastewater treatment plant and possible alternatives are designed and their advantages and disadvantages compared. Each of the possible solutions is then presented in the graphical part of the thesis.

Hodnocení ukazatelů kvality vody na vybraných povodích Znojemska

Michalčíková, Dagmar January 2015 (has links)
The paper is focused on the monitoring of selected water quality parameters in watersheds of Břežanka and Trstěnice stream due to land use categories. Measuring point at each flow was elected according to the borders of different land use categories because of demonstrating the effect of individual category on the water quality. Since March 2014 there has been measurement monthly taking place on chosen sites and followed by laboratory analysis of water in the laboratory of DALE (Mendel University in Brno) and comparing the results with actual legislation. Results of laboratory analyzes demonstrate the self-cleaning process of individual sections of streams, where are noticeable changes in the concentrations of monitored indicators of water quality. The results confirmed the assumption that forest land use category shows the highest degree of water self-cleaning.

Využití dešťové vody v rodinném domě a její ekonomické zhodnocení / SUDS Application

Němeček, Roman January 2016 (has links)
This thesis deals with the issue of rainwater management in a family house. It is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains a literary research pertaining to legislature in the outlined field, describes current solutions to rainwater management as well as history of this issue and explains reasons for it is growing importance on a general scope. The practical part of the thesis contains assessment of factors influencing the acquisition costs as well as the system maintenance costs. Three versions of the system are in consideration taking intoaccount the number of persons occupying the family house. Factual financial costs are calculated allowing for water saving where the rainwater can be utilized for i.e. washing clothes or toilet flushing. The balance sheet partly contains the calculation of financialreturnability. The house that served as the subject of this thesis is located in in the author is domicile in the village of Arnoltice, Děčín district. The final part of the thesis summarizes the treated issue and explains it is importance not only from the financial point of view but mainly from the perspective ofits favourable impact on natural environment.

Sledování retenční schopnosti půdy po aplikaci kompostů

Hanáková, Lenka January 2016 (has links)
Thesis process water infiltration in the soil at different doses supplied compost at two sites with different soil properties. It was also a variant with one hundred tons per hectare and fifty tons per hectare monitored penetrometric soil resistance. The obtained results suggest a favorable correlation between higher doses supplied compost and reducing penetrometric resistance. Like correlations suggest a beneficial effect of incorporation of higher doses of compost on the value of infiltration.

Využití ozónu v intenzivním chovu vybraných druhů ryb

VLČEK, Jakub January 2018 (has links)
Aim of this thesis was to use the ozonisation as a disinfection method for improving of water quality in the intensive fish farms using RAS (recirculating aquaculture system). The main assessed parameter was effect of ozone treatment on fish health and RAS functions and features. Two RAS were used in this study one with use of ozone treatment, one without ozone treatment (control system). There were cultured two different fish species in these two RAS - pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) and European catfish (Silurus glanis). The main reason for use of these two species is that they are perspective species for intensive aquaculture. In the RAS with ozone treatment, two different methods of ozone application were tested - periodical and continual application. The effect of ozone treatment on fish health and conditions was controlled regularly. Ozone treatment had positively affected the survival of both cultured species (pikeperch survival: with ozone = 77.0 % and without ozone = 67.2 %; European catfish: with ozone = 93.1 % and without ozone = 91.5 %). Ozone treatment also positively affected the water chemistry. The greatest difference was observed in CHSKMn: with ozone = 6.4?1.2 mg.l; without ozone = 10.7?1.6 mg.l. The same features were observed in suspended solids: with ozone = 4.3?2.8 mg.l-1; without ozone = 8.17?6.2 mg.l. Appearance of Ichthyophthirius multifiliis and bacterial infection were not affected by ozone treatment. The main result of this thesis and this design of experiment is that ozone treatment had a positive impact on water chemistry in observed RAS and it, however, didn't kill 100% of the fish pathogens.

Porovnání dlouhodobých hodnot průtoků a koncentrací vybraných látek na pastevním areálu Jenín / Comparison of long term values of discharges and concentrations of selected substances in pasture area of Jenín

KAŇOKOVÁ, Markéta January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the flow rate in pasture-way cultivated catchment area of Jenin stream and concentrations of nitrates and phosphorus in the stream during the period of 2004 - 2012. For this purpose individual time series of the flow-rate values and concentrations of selected substances were processed. The catchment was divided in two subcatchment areas labeled J1 and J2. The results were compared with the previous ones from the period 1983 - 1985 while the area was used as an arable land .

Odstraňování reziduí specifického antropogenního znečištění vody organickými látkami s hormonálními účinky při úpravě na vodu pitnou / Elimination of residues of specific antropogenic organic contaminants with hormonal activities of water during drinking water treatment

Bílková, Zuzana January 2011 (has links)
Submitted master's thesis is dealing with the problem of occurrence of residues of specific anthropogenic pollution of drinking water sources, with accent on possibilities of elimination of these compounds during drinking water treatment. There was pay attention to two estrogenic hormones – estradiol and ethinylestradiol. In laboratory scale there was tested efficiency of coagulation, activated carbon adsorption and ozonation in elimination of studied compounds from artificially contaminated water.
