HORÁK, Petr January 2007 (has links)
Subject of this study was to find out differences in special locomotive abilities of junior female volleyball players (category older primary school). Observed values were compared within tested groups, statistically evaluated and presented in form of tables and graphs. We aimed to compare level locomotive performance between players of second league and best players of first junior volleyball league.Testing samples comprised of players of VSK Slávia PF České Budějovice and the junior league All-star teams. Both teams were tested with use of three special locomotive tests for strength, velocity and maneuverability. I also conducted basic anthropometric measurements of stature and flesh, from which I have computed the Body Mass Index. \\

Analýza pohybu hráčů ve volejbalovém utkání / Analysis of voleyball players' movement during the match

Hank, Mikuláš January 2015 (has links)
The primary task of this thesis was to evaluate, quantify and objectify distances of movement of elite volleyball players in terms of individual game specializations in the horizontal plane of motion. Secondarily, these values were mutually compared. For evaluation was used 3D kinematic motion analysis. Analyzed homogeneous group consisted of senior volleyball players at the Champions League level (n = 14; age = 25 ± 6 years; height = 182.3 ± 6.2 cm; weight = 72.1 ± 5.8 kg). Processing were four sets, a total of 167 rallies. The average distance one player absolved for 167 rally was 1259.89 meters in whole game, per rally, this value was 8.8 m. The movement of players was divided by a total of four directions relative to the volleyball net forward, backward, left and right. The results showed a high degree of homogeneity in the external load players and brought objective values for comparison between the players' specializations. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Kvalita života hráčů sitting volejbalu / Quality of life in sitting volleyball players

Kůtová, Kristýna January 2019 (has links)
Title: Quality of life in sitting volleyball players Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to summarize and extend knowledge about sitting volleyball and to analyse quality of life in sitting volleyball players. Methods: For the analysis we have used standardized questionnaire from the World Health Organization in its short version named WHOQOL-BREF. 12 players (8 men, 4 women) with average age 40,6 years participated in the study. Results: The results of the questionnaire show, that quality of life in sitting volleyball players is better then quality of life of general population. We can deduce it from the fact, that their answers were better in three of four domains of the questionnaire (experiencing, social relations, surroundings). Only in the domain of physical health, sitting volleyball players showed worse results than general population, what could not be surprising due to their physical handicap. Keywords: paralympic sport, volleyball, resocialisation, amputation, WHOQOL- BREF

Statistical evaluation was performed using two way ANOVA test, type III and post-hoc Scheffe test. Statistical significance was determined to be p ≤ 0.05. Results: The results of the study showed that footballers have a better level of postural stability compared to volleyball players, and a significant difference was found in all four tests (p < 0.05). In terms of age category, youth players generally have better...

Klinické zhodnocení stavu ramenního kloubu u hráčů kadetské a juniorské kategorie tzv. overhead sportů / Clinical evaluation of ROM of shoulder joint in cadet and junior category players of so-called overhead sports

Benda, Petr January 2020 (has links)
The title of the master thesis: Clinical evaluation of ROM of shoulder joint in cadet and junior category players of so-called overhead sports Abstract in English language: The goal of this thesis is to elucidate whether the "overhead" athletes like handballers and volleyballers suffer from extension changes and local hypermobility in their shoulder joints. These changes are going to be described by trigonometric measurements and hypermobility tests by Sachse. It is going to be determined which "overhead" athletes are affected the most. Their sex is going to be taken into consideration. The theoretical part of the thesis describes selected "overhead" sports and their strain on a human body from a kinesiologic point of view. Especially the impact of offensive blows in volleyball and throws in handball on shoulder joints are going to be examined. The thesis is going to examine a shoulder girdle from an anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, and physiology point of view. A chapter focused on hypermobility and it is classification is included too. 95 people without a prior injury of a shoulder joint in the age from 16 to 19 years old including 73 "overhead" athletes were tested. There were 30 men, 40 women, 34 handballers, and 39 volleyballers. In the control group, there were 22 people, of which 11 men and 11...
