Following thesis deals with issue of trade union recreations held by Revolutionary Trade Union Movement (ROH) in Czechoslovakia between 1945 - 1989. Theoretical roots of this work are the concept of leisure time, Revolutionary Trade Union Movement (ROH) and trade union recreations, including all their types (selective inland and outland recreations, corporate recreations, Pioneer Organization's summer camps). The thesis gets its findings on the one hand from archive sources as well as from interviews with witnesses, on the other hand from studying of secondary literature. The thesis describes differences between particular types of recreations and presents their alterations throughout history. In the same time, it relates the issue of trade union recreations to the concept of leisure time as a condition for a formation of trade union recreations. It also deals with the role of Trade Union Movement (ROH) in organisation of recreations itself. The goal of the thesis is to process fundamental trends, tendencies and changes of union recreations and their typology.

The presented M.A. thesis pursues leisure activities in the Jewish Community in Třebíč in the early modern period. The research is based on Pinkas ha-kahal Trebitsch (1674-1803), communal book preserved in the Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem. This manuscript wasn't sufficiently studied up to this day. The author analyzed the regulations of selected aspects of leisure and put them in context of early modern European regulations, both Jewish and Christian.

The main goal of this disertation is to update knowledge about common activities of parents and adolescents in the context of family education (Gillern, 2009), which could help current counseling practices and expansion of knowledge about educational interactions in the family. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the knowledge of the effects of common realized interests of parents and adolescents, and to find out under what conditions and circumstances they occur. The theoretical part of this thesis consists of three chapters. First chapter deals with important adults during adolescence, the second chapter focuses on family upbringing while the third chapter deals with common activities during free time. The research part presents the results of quantitative research, supplemented by semi- structured interviews with several students. Adolescents were asked what activities they do in their free time, with whom they perform them, and how the actual implementation differs from their wishes. Current parenting styles according to the nine-field model were also examined. At the end of the work, the results of the research part are discussed and the findings of the research survey are summarized. This thesis deals with the phenomenon of the suburban summer resorts and the recreational activities of the inhabitants of Prague in the second half of 19th century and first decades of 20th century. At first, the work introduces the following topics: a general characteristic of the industrialization era, an origin and initial development of the middle class, a villa with the garden on the periphery of the industrial city as a specific manifestation of the middle class culture, a phenomenon of the garden cities, recreational activities as a specific way of the middle class recreation. Then, the summer resort is introduced. This summer resort is Černošice, one of the most famous summer resorts of this era, there were other famous summer resorts of the inhabitants of Prague situated in his neighbourhood, for example Všenory or Dobřichovice. The public observes that the qualities of human health depends on the lifestyle. The main topic of diploma thesis was to research the attitude of the university students in the Czech Republic and to describe their lifestyle standards. In accordance with the aim of the thesis, a questionnaire survey was conducted on a sample of 677 respondents. The questions related to the realm of the nutrition, physical exercises, passive spending free time, smoking and consuming alcohol. General information about the health and the factors of lifestyle is summarized in the theoretical part. On the other hand, the practical part is based on the analysis and evaluation of acquired data. The results explores the insufficient compliance of the principles of healthy lifestyle. The outcome of the analytic part is applicable to processing by the headquarters team in the intention of the IGA project no. 008/2016 and to research purposes.

The diploma project deals with the construction of the catalogue houses on the outskirts of villages. In addition to the term suburban, the term subrural is introduced, which describes and names this type of construction. At the same time, the project examines the influence of advertising catalogues on the aesthetics of subrural gardens and the activities performed on them. The work comes with a proposal for an alternative subrural locality in the village of Příkazy near Olomouc. Thanks to the minimization of plots, the labor is also minimized and at the same time space is freed for public orchard running through the entire territory. This creates a diffusion of development into the agricultural landscape and on a smaller scale it creates a spectacular space around private gardens. Prefabricated bricks from hobby markets form the architectural expression of the project. From these elements are assembled objects and fragments of fences located in the landscape. At the same time, the fragments form a newly compiled catalogue, according to which inhabitants build their fences.

The main aim of dissertation is find out the attitudes of people who have a great influence on the development of a child and on child's attitudes towards sporting activities. Personal attitudes of educators are also a very important factor during the process of forming the opinions of their own children or their pupils towards movement. Wear's questionnaire was used to find out the attitudes of parents of preschool children and of people who devote to free time activities for children and for the youth.

The diploma thesis deals with the education and traditions in the municipality of Horní Střítež in a comprehensive context. It presents an image of rural life and factors influencing the development of the village and contemporary life of the residents. Alongside principal education concepts, the thesis draws on an extensive context of findings from other academic disciplines. The first part of the thesis describes the historical context of the events that shaped the development of the municipality. Chapters mapping, in more detail, the current events, with particular emphasis on the role of education in the rural family and in the community, the school system and leisure time follow, highlighting the benefits of the traditional conception of life in the country. Theoretical and methodological aspects as well as the ethical aspect are relevant in the application of the qualitative research method. The subject-matter of the presented thesis is cross-border healthcare in the European Union. The thesis focuses deeply on the overall evaluation of the recently adopted Directive on patients' rights. The primary objective of this thesis is to comprehensively analyse the new legislation on cross-border health care within the European Union, i.e. Directive on patients' rights. Based on theoretical findings, the thesis aims to assess the potential impact of the Directive on the provisions of cross-border healthcare within the European Union and its influence on the healthcare system in the Czech Republic. The contents of the thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is introductory and provides information concerning the relevant provisions of primary law that provides European Union with competences in the area of health. The second chapter deals with the developments of the legal framework for cross- border healthcare in the European Union and clarifies in detail the specific nature of cross- border health care. Considerable focus is placed on analysis of concrete rights of migrant patients that are derived from the comprehensive case law of CJEU. (in English): The topic of the thesis is Leisure time and its influence on risk behavior of adolescents. The aim of the study was to characterize the relation between manners of leisure time spending and risk behavior in adolescent age. The first part is dedicated to a theoretical basis for research. There are definitions of the terms leisure time and its specifics of adolescent, particular attention is paid to leisure activities. Following is characterized the period of adolescence. The conclusion of theoretical part deals with risk behavior, its various forms and factors that affects it. The second part is dedicated to research, which took place on the Semily district. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and researches was prepared a research tool - the questionnaire. By obtained data analyze I was able to fill the objective of the work and thus characterize the relation between manners of leisure time spending and risk behavior in adolescent age. The effect of the regular participation in leisure activities was proofed as one of the protective factors in risk behavior.
