Současný život "superžen" po zániku primární rodiny / Current life of "superwomen" after primary family breakup

Hanáková, Šárka January 2018 (has links)
This thesis is dedicated to women who were called "the super women" during the communist era. Their mission was to combine their profession with taking care of their children alongside of being a housewife. Even though the traditional model of the men supporting the whole family changed to more democratic model with the both man and woman supporting the family, the housekeeping and taking care of children still stayed the wive's responsibility. In the period of communism, women were "double burdened". They dedicated their lives for their families and the free time they had, which was less then what men had, mostly corresponded with the interests of children and the whole family. In this thesis I focus on how these women live nowadays. They have already retired and after losing their partner they now live alone. I also focus on how they deal with this different life situation and changes in their social roles. I work with the theoretical approaches of emancipated femininity and active aging as a way to cope with changes in social status. I chose the qualitative approach as a research method. It is implemented in this diploma thesis by analyzing thorough interviews with widowed seniors.

Prostředí a podmínky života lidí s mentálním handicapem v letech 1969 - 1992 / Environment and Living Conditions of People with Learning Disabilities in 1969-1992

Zdráhalová, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
The thesis tries to contribute to spread the consciousness about the people who had learning disabilities and who lived during the normalization. In our contemporary history this group was marginalized. The aim of this thesis is to try if and how the environment and living conditions of these people in the institutional care changed during the years 1969 - 1992. The research was realised by the oral history and worked with five testimonies of women who live in different parts of the Czech Republic and who worked with people with learning disabilities before 1989 and also in the nineties. The other sources which I used were publications devoted to special education. These publications contain the short process of evolution of care of people with learning disabilities. I used the publications which were published during the years 1969 - 1992 and also those which were published after 1989. The basic area of topics in the thesis includes the daily routine in the institutional care, the education (institutional and also non-institutional), employment, financial matters and the leisure time of people with learning disabilities. The others are: the view of the majority society to these people and how the special teachers were educated. The final chapter reflects the changes occurred after November 1989....

Environmentální šetrnost v životním způsobu současných mladých trampů aneb "Co jsem si do lesa přines, to si odnesu." / Environmental frugality in the lifestyle of modern day young Tramps or 'What is taken into the forest also comes out.'

Sobotková, Jana January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is an attempt to detect and interpret the elements of environmental frugality in the lifestyle of young Tramps, mainly in connection with activities related to their everyday lives. Based on a qualitative approach in the form of semi-structured interviews, I am trying to ascertain the point of view of the informants in several areas. These areas are mainly represented by the concept of tramping itself and its related forms of leisure activities, attitudes and preferences in selected areas of lifestyle (housing, food and waste, travel, transport and leisure, everyday objects, clothing), relating to nature, to the environment, nature protection and reflection of the current problems in this field, including the reflection of their own attitude (concept of responsibility, risk, etc.). I interpret the observed data on the basis of selected theoretical concepts, especially using Jan Krajhanzl's eco-psychological model of relationship to nature and its components, with emphasis on environmental awareness as one of its parts. Furthermore, I confront the results of my research with selected concepts related to the topic of an environmentally frugal life (voluntary and intentional modesty, ecological luxury etc.). Key words: Tramping, (alternative) lifestyle, leisure, everyday life, subcultural...

The diploma thesis "A parent as a party to educational policy: Preschool education from the point of view of parents" deals with parents as participants of educational policy who, first of all, use various options when ensuring education for their preschool age children. In separate chapters three areas of life-long education are presented - formal, non-formal and informal which a parent chooses for his/her child. The educational policy is influenced by a parent's decisions, attitudes and strategies. What are his/her approaches with respect to individual areas, his/her expectations, whether the quality and offer corresponds to their conception, that is what results from this thesis.

Brněnští trampové v období tzv. normalizace / Trampers from Brno in the era of so-called normalization

Polouček, Oto January 2015 (has links)
Tramping represents a uniquely Czech phenomenon as a form of leisure in contact with nature as well as a sort of informal pooling. It starts off at the beginning of the interwar period in Czechoslovakia, develops during the so called normalization Era (1969-1989) and continues to exist up to the present days. The main objective of this thesis is to highlight some of the basic conditions of the development of this phenomenon in certain examined periods of time by means of an analysis of life stories. The focus shall be located on specific forms of motivation for tramping, values associated with this activity by the trampers and the role of the collective in the activity. The Normalization Era is particularly interesting for an exploration of the relationship between tramping and power in authoritarian environments such as those from our recent History. The main, albeit not the exclusive research materials for this diploma thesis, has been taken from narrative sources. The study concentrates on the city of Brno as a particularly active location in which tramping activities have been taking place all along a extensive period of time in History. Počátky televizního vysílání v Československu a formování jeho divácké obce / The beginnings of television broadcasting in Czechoslovakia and the formation of its audience

Prchlíková, Lucie January 2014 (has links)
The author aims to focus the work on the formation of audiences from the early days of television. The key is to introduce readers to the beginnings of broadcasting from the perspective of the viewer, not just the overview of the history of television broadcasting in Czechoslovakia. The studied time period is mainly the 50s of 20th century with a brief insight into the interwar period. In the end the author compares the past with current state of television entertainment. The work is methodologically processed by archival research and professional literature in combination with the oral history method using real interviews with narrators. This leads to a comparison of officially available information about the beginnings of television broadcasting with the testimony of their direct audience. However, the result of the research is a mutual agreement in the field of television technology (first receivers), as well as in the sphere of program distribution, in the social area and also it presents how popular was the television in leisure activities of population in the 50s60s of 20th century.
