The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the value of health, a healthy lifestyle, stages of childhood and the importance of a family for a child. It represents the healthy lifestyle and children´s healthy eating habits, the importance of children´s physical activities and leisure activities for children with parents to prevent children's illnesses and drug use. It presents the results of a research study of HBSC Health Behaviour in School- aged Children. The practical part of the thesis presents the method of questionnaire survey used. It contains statistical evaluation of the data obtained, comparing them with regard to parental age and the place of living of the responding children. It reveals the present state of influences in families on emerging lifestyle of children in surveyed localities in the Czech Republic.

The study deals with Prague Jews and their free time in the period between the end of 19th century and the year 1939. It focuses on society and leisure-time activities organized by Jewish Religious Community in Prague and other oficial jewish establishments, which influenced particular societies. It means especially those, which focused on education, social work, culture, sport and scouting. The thesis shows what the particular kinds of groups were doing and what organized for their members and also for the public. The author also indicates which aspects could influence Jewish free time activities and what the Old Testament and Talmud say about some leisure-time activities. In the end, she summarizes the specifics how the Jews who lived in the first half of 20th century in Prague were spending free time and evaluates the situation with respect to religion and tradition.

The thesis deals with leisure time in families with pre-school children in the region of the city Pelhřimov. It desribes conception of the leisure time in families with one or more children. The theoretic part talks about family, follows up its meanings and functions in human life. There is a short description of development of the family in modern time and some specifics of the families with younger preschool children too. Then there are desribed relationships in family (depending on the number of children in the family) and an intergenerational learning process. The next section is devoted to leisure time and its role in human life. We will find there a definition of a leisure time, a brief look at the historical evolution of this phenomenon in modern time and some of its specifics in contemporary family life. The work next deals with some socio-psychological characteristics of younger pre-school children with regard for leisure time. There are written some characteristics of the Pelhřimov?s region related to leisure time. The researching part of the work describes how the conception of the leisure time looks in the family of younger pre-school children in the Pelhřimov?s region. It highlights some of the differences in the conception among families with one or more children too. In a selected population sample survey was carried out using semi-structured interviews. They were then processed using a triple-coding grounded theory.

The main topic of the presented thesis is to make the reader acquainted with the basic terminology of the free-time issues and to make clear the forms, methods and techniques of the literature-drama education and their possible usage in practice at the leisure education. The first chapter of the thesis deals with the issues of leisure time and with science disciplines that consider free time. In the second chapter the following terms are mentioned: the interest, the game and the leisure activities. These terms are divided with specialization in aesthetic-educational leisure activities. The principal part of the thesis is the third chapter which describes the application of literature and drama education in leisure time. The project method and project types are described in the fourth chapter. The planning, the realization and the evaluation of the project make another part of this chapter. This thesis deals with the remuneration system in the sphere of leisure. The theoretical part deals with the motivation of employees, description of motivational theories and their authors. It also describes both of systems remuneration, financial and non-financial form. An important part is employee benefits and various classification, implementation and realization. Consequently are some possibilities of evaluation of employees and their work. The final chapter of the theoretical part focus on remuneration system applied in leisure organizations, which also includes compensation for volunteers. The practical part contains the description and comparison of two organizations. First is the civic association M-tes and second is Silesian Youth Center ? home of children and youth. Empirical research is focused on motivational strategies, remuneration systems, evaluation and implementation of employee benefits. Consequently are offered changes and recommendations.

This dissertation deals with self-realization and self-surpassing of individuals during the selected period of their productive age within their free time. The academic part, based on specialized literature, describes functions as well as factors of free time and its evolution from ancient time to the present. It describes middle age and its specifics from a developmental psychology point of view, it further aims to grasp the self-realization and self-surpassing keywords. The practical part addresses a research of the leisure-time-activities preferences of working middle-aged individuals, focusing on self-realization and self-surpassing.It describes methods used in a performed research, evaluates obtained data and at the conclusion summarizes the results of the research.

This thesis is based on the theoretical research using scientific texts. Method of reasoning (deduction) were compared ideas of the individual authors who deal with description of contemporary (postmodern ) society, exploring the question of the sense of life and represent a difficult life events that can cause the threat or loss. The work is divided into three chapters, each of which contains sub -chapters. The first part refers to a person in postmodern society. There is a characterization of contemporary society, the challenges of the new era, gain new requirements on the man and related problems. The second chapter is building on the issues of the first chapter. Some fragments which describe the particular challenges of life events and their impact on the man, the sense of living in certain periods of life. There were used mainly idea sof psychotherapists who are dedicated to working with people in a state of crisis. Following the previous chapters, the last part of the thesis deals with the question of the free time, defining the category of the free-time and pointing out its importance for contemporary man. Emphasis was placed on the free-time pedagogy using appropriate free-time activities as a tool for finding richer and more meaningful human life in certain difficult life events that brings the requirement of a new era. Last but not least, there was to explain the context of the free-time and religion.

This work deals with the application of leisure education graduates on the labor market in the Czech Republic. It introduces the concept of leisure, its origins and historical development of educational activities. It deals with the pedagogy of leisure as a science, pedagogy discipline and the field of study. It introduces the pedagogue of leisure, his vocational training, profile and application. Last but not least, closer to the ties of labor market, it covers the unemployment and status of university graduates on the labor market. The last chapter presents the results of the performed research. The research focused on finding employment of graduates of leisure education from Faculty of Theology of University of South Bohemia on the czech labor market in relation to this field, their preparation for practice and obtaining their opinions about that field of study.
