Vår uppgift från Special-Elektronik var att konstruera en moduluppbyggd produkt för styrning via LAN. Den skulle kunna användas till att styra lampor och kontrollera strömbrytare i ett hus, via befintligt TCP/IP-nätverk som eliminerar viss del av kabeldragningen. För att lösa denna uppgift använde vi oss av en enchipsdator, en Xport från Lantronix och en kontrollserver. Xporten fungerar som mastermodul och översätter kommunikationen från TCP/IP till seriell och tvärt om. Som slavmodul valde vi att använda oss av en enchipsdator av typen ATMEGA8, där vi utnyttjar 8 digitala in- och utgångar. / Our task from Special-Elektronik was to construct a LAN interfaced control system. The product may be used for controlling the light bulbs and reading the switches in a house, using available TCP/IP-network which decreases needed cable length. To solve the task we used a microcontroller, an Xport from Lantronix and a control server. The Xport works as a master module and translates the communication from TCP/IP to serial and back. As slave module we decided to use an ATMEGA8 microcontroller, in which we use 8 digital in- and outports.

This Master´s thesis deals with the design and implementation of System for remote measuring and data storing in central databese. The system consists of server, which collects data and clients that send data to the server. On the server is installed program Apache in which runs utility script for collecting and evaluating data, written in PHP. Data are stored in MySQL relational database and can be clearly displayed. The client consists of microcontroller ATmega16, which evaluates data from sensors. These data are then transferred via Ethernet using the HTTP protocol through the module XPort.

To facilitate the learning of automatic navigation systems by engineering students an easy to obtain platform is useful. The topic of this thesis is the design and implementation of a basic self-guided vehicle that can be programmed and expanded by anyone possessing basic experience with the C programming language. The Self-Guided Micro Vehicle, (SGMV), uses off-the-shelf easy to obtain parts such as a toy R/C truck and the Handyboard to maximize availability of this technology to students.This thesis divides the SGMV design process by functionality. It starts by documenting the locomotion system, which was a modified R/C toy truck. Next, it describes the Microcontroller board and the Handyboard. Then it highlights the programming language, Interactive C, which makes multitasking systems easy for beginners. The sensor system was comprised of a GPS receiver, a solid state electronic compass and a wireless communications system.

This diploma thesis is focused on implementation of a CRM system to xPORT organization. Goal of this thesis is to choose a relevant approach to implementation, market analysis of appropriate CRM systems and choosing one system, which is most suitable for the organization. This system is then implemented and customized to accomplish all organization's needs. Work is separated into two parts -- theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part describes the terms CRM and CRM system, from historical and structural points of view. The next topic is a short introduction to the xPORT organization, its structure and subject are described there. Practical part is focused on choosing of appropriate approach to implementation of a CRM system and a market analysis followed by choosing of one most suitable CRM system. This system is then implemented to the organization's infrastructure and its functionality is changed to meet an organization's demands. Practical part is concluded by setting this system into the production and training the users. The main outcome of this work is functional CRM system, user manuals for using this system and description of its infrastructure for future administration tasks and changes on functionality. Contribution of this work is in choosing and implementation such CRM system that fits the most into the xPORT organization, is able to cover as much demands as possible and which provides to this organization a possibility to maintain and use its information effectively.

Návrh a realizace bezdrátového interface ODBII-XBee / Design and realization of wireless interface ODBII-XBeeZatloukal, Martin January 2010 (has links)
This master’s thesis describes possibilities of usage of ZigBee communication protocol and integrated circuit ELM 327 in problem of realization universal diagnostic device, running by OBDII communication standards, which can be used to monitor function of all car´s electronic systems. Thesis also deals with design and realization of necessary electro technical devices and modules followed by compilation of control software and experimental measurements of these devices in real traffic flow. In the first part of project, there are reminded some basic features and parameters of OBDII, followed by description of ways how to use OBDII and adumbrating how to realize universal diagnostic system. The analysis of ZigBee system focused on XBee circuits follows. Construction, ways of data transfer and possibilities of controlling are described. Integrated circuits produced by ELM Electronics Company are introduced and possibilities of usage ELM 327 are described as requested by main task. Second part talks about designing of electronic circuits of this system, assembling schematic diagram and designing sources for production of PCB. Physical realization of these circuits and its first start is also included. Thesis finishes by dealing with practical experiences and measurements using real vehicles. This part talks also about means to improve system by several software solutions to reach more effective functioning of created device.
