This diploma thesis focuses on reporting of financial derivatives under the rules set by International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). It analyses the hedging transactions, but it also aims at the speculations. From the range of IFRS hedging transactions closely describes Fair Value hedge and Cash Flow hedge. Furthermore it deals with the most frequent hedging cases like the hedging of foreign currency risk and interest rate risk. The real historic data from the markets are applied in his diploma paper.

During the last few years the Czech Republic has witnessed a great boom in the area of a problematic and irrecoverable credit settlement. Late and substandard payments have become rather a tradition in the Czech way of doing business. Consequently the solution by selling receivables to the third party is often resorted to. The thesis examines the system of the internal debt evaluation in banking sector for the purpose of sale. In the conclusion it presents a draft methodology with three different modifications: The first modification is the value of the credit based on the debtor's ability to pay using the risk parameters such as the probability of default, the loss given default and the recovery rate of the credit (calculating according to BASEL II rules). The second modification is the value of the credit determinated by a simulation of the bankruptcy/insolvency proceeding. The third modification is the value of the credit derived from the worth of the collateral while using the methodology for evaluation of the real estate and the current assets, or other types of collateral

Security transfer of ownership Abstract The subject matter of this thesis is the security transfer of ownership as a means of debt security in the Czech Republic. Within five chapters, the thesis analyses the law applicable to the security transfer of ownership while considering the difficulties arising out of its interpretation that were identified by courts, experts and legal practice. The main purpose is to present the difficulties related to the use and interpretation of the security transfer of ownership in a critical manner. The first chapter aims to put the security transfer of title in the context of the law of obligations, to place it among other types of debt securities and to capture its substance. Subsequently, the thesis describes the roots of this type of debt security in Roman law and the evolution of the security transfer of title in the Czech territory. There is a comparative mention of the use of the security transfer of title in Germany and France at the end of the first chapter. The second chapter analyses the security transfer of title under Act No. 40/1964 Coll., the Civil Code and identifies problems related to the imperfect legislation. Administrative detention of migrants Resumé The aim of this thesis was to critically evaluate the institute of administrative detention of migrants and decide whether it is and appropriate, proportionate and necessary measure or if it has become obsolete considering the development of recent years and whether it would be appropriate to replace it with more effective alternatives. In the first part of the thesis I have critically evaluated the legal framework regarding administrative detention of migrants. I analysed the impact of international law with the emphasis of human rights, laid out the rules as stated by fragmented European law directives and regulations. The most detailed analysis is of Czech legal framework, including mentions of its most problematic points both from past and present. Next I considered the nature of the institute as an administrative law instrument used to restrict someone on his personal liberty. Considering the insufficiency of mere legality as a criterion of legality and legitimacy of administrative detention, I evaluated the aims and purposes of the administrative detention of migrants. Diplomová práce analyzuje možnosti komerčního pojištění pro řešení dopadů přírodních katastrof. První kapitola se věnuje současným změnám ve vývoji klimatu. Druhá kapitola zachycuje dopad klimatických změn na pojistný průmysl. Ve třetí jsou rozebrány možnosti zajistného trhu pro krytí dopadů katastrof. Čtvrtá kapitola je věnovaná alternativním metodám pro transfer rizika, které začínají být zajímavé v souvislosti se ztenčující se kapacitou zajistného tru v souvislosti s potřebou krytí živelních rizik katastrofického rozsahu. V rámci páté kapitoly je popsán dopad a možnosti řešení přírodních katastrof v rámci České republiky.

Tato diplomová práce pojednává o logistice v jejím šířším slova smyslu. Jedná se o logistické a špediční služby, což jsou služby všeho druhu vztažené k dopravě. Cílem této práce bylo zaměřit se na smluvní zajištění těchto logistických operací. Logistika jako taková je relativně mladým oborem podnikání v mezinárodním obchodě, ale prochází obrovským vývojem díky globalizaci. Je tedy perspektivní oblastí nyní i v budoucnu a přináší velké možnosti zefektivnění jednotlivých podnikatelských činností.

Práce poskytuje ucelený pohled na problematiku sestavování stavebních rozpočtů (nabídkový, slepý, kontrolní, revizní, souhrnný rozpočet) a popisuje další činnosti s vyhotovením stavebního díla bezprostředně spjaté - postup při výběrovém řízení, při zadání veřejné zakázky, způsoby zajištění investora (bankovní záruka, bankovní příslib, hotovost), uzavření smlouvy o dílo, finanční aspekty smlouvy o dílo, fakturace stavebních prací. Na příkladu stavební firmy HOCHTIEF CZ a. s. byla provedena praktická analýza daného procesu.

Práce se zabývá problematikou řízení pohledávek. Předmětem je charakteristika pohledávek a popis metod používaných při jejich řízení. Cílem práce je s využitím teoretických znalostí ukázat nastavení procesu řízení pohledávek v praxi a zhodnotit jeho efektivnost. Zabývá se také diskontní polikou, tedy stanovením výše slevy za předčasné splácení faktur. Podrobněji jsou vysvětleny zajišťovací instrumenty, evidence pohledávek nebo proces analýzy a hodnocení odběratelů.

The presented thesis is focused on the property valuation from a bank point of views for the purpose of providing loans. Its main objective is the analysis of particular secured bank loans pledged with real estate from contemporary bank practice. The secondary goal is to present the laws in force, explaining policies and procedures of the different methodologies.
