Výzkum a vývoj technologie přípravy tvrdé anodizace neželezných slitin / Research and development of a technology of hard anodization of nonferrous alloys

Remešová, Michaela January 2020 (has links)
Práce je zaměřena na výzkum a vývoj technologie přípravy tvrdých anodických vrstev na třech různých typech neželezných materiálů a to (i) hliníkové slitině (AA1050), (ii) čistém hořčíku (99.9% Mg) a (iii) zinkové slitině (ZnTi2). Vhodnou kombinací anodizačních podmínek (napětí, proudová hustota, teplota a složení elektrolytu atd.) lze vytvářet anodické vrstvy s rozdílnými vlastnostmi.

Sorpce směsí kovových iontů na přírodním lignitu / Sorption of metal ions mixture on natural lignite

Doskočil, Leoš January 2009 (has links)
Sorption of quaternary metal ions (Pb2+, Cu2+, Cd2+ and Zn2+) was carried out on lignite from the South Moravia. Following experiments were tested: kinetic sorption, dependence of sorption on pH, initial concentration, temperature, effect of electrolytes (KNO3 and NaCl) and desorption in deionized water. Sorption studies was carried out in quaternary mixtures and in the case of inicial concentration effect additional in a single-component solution. The batch sorption experiments was used. Sorption time was 24 hour, although concentration of ions was a near equilibrium after two hour. As the optimal pH was determined pH 5. The order of affinity by lignite was obtained Pb >> Cd > Zn > Cu for the sorption of metals in the single-component solution and the order was Pb > Cu > Zn > Cd for the sorption of mixture of metals. The maximum adsorptium capacities from single solutions were for Pb 97,82 mg/g, Cd 60,34 mg/g, Zn 49,88 mg/g and Cu 30,28 mg/g and in the case of ones from mixture solutions were for Pb 39,03 mg/g, Cu 25,94 mg/g, Zn 15,21 mg/g and Cd 5,18 mg/g. Experimental data have been analysed using Langmuir and Freundlich model. Thermodynamic values H°, S° and G° were calculated. Desorption test showed that desorption efficiency is 0–3 %. NaCl had the greatest influence on sorption from electrolytes. On the basis obtained results we can say that metals are binding to lignite in particular due to chemical interactions. Lignite is s suitable as a sorption material for metal ions especially in the field of low concentrations.

Studium jevů limitujících životnost sekundárních článků Ni-Zn / A Study of Phenomena that Limit the Life-Span of Ni-Zn Secondary Cells

Chladil, Ladislav January 2014 (has links)
This dissertation is focused on the study of selected additives and their effect on positive and negative electrodes of Ni-Zn secondary cells. The first group of additives consists of the inorganic compounds that reduce zinc oxide solubility and thus prevents shape changes of the zinc electrode. The second group contains organic additives that have the beneficial effect of dendrite growth prevention. All additives were examined in relationship to their compatibility with the positive electrode and to their effect on the zinc electrode dendrites inhibition, hydrogen evolution and corrosion inhibition. Moreover, the study of decomposition kinetics of supersaturated zincate solution with the first group of additives was performed. Finally, a short study of pulse regime charging mode with regard to dendrites inhibition was performed and evaluated.

Studium fyziologických změn rostlin při stresu zinečnatými ionty / Study of physiological changes in plants under stress by zinc ions

Adam, Rostislav January 2012 (has links)
Heavy metals are part of us life for many centuries. Some of them are for living organism neccessary, but in large amount they have toxic effects. So we should decrease amount of heavy metals in the Environment. We have many way to do it. A relatively new way are the phytoremediation. If we would use the phytoremediation, we should know, what they do in plants. We must use specific plants, which are tolerant to certain heavy metal. If we would select a suitable plant, we have to try, how heavy metals in soil solution are toxic to plants. Zinc is no expection, although it is important part of many proteins. In plants it make rusty leaves and reduct aboveground and root biomass production. In hydroponic experiment I investigated that mallow Malva verticillata was very sensitive to low additon of Zn(NO3)2. The toxic efect appeared in 2 weeks. In sorghum Sorghum bicolor zinc show expressive toxic effect at concentration 1 mmol/l. I studied six cultivars of Sorghum bicolor, DSM 14-535, Expres, Honey Graze BMR, Nutri Honey, Sucrosorgho 506 and Sweet Virginia. According EC50 I as- sessed that the most sensitive was Sucrosorgho 506 and very tolerant were Nutri Honey and Sweet Virginia. Cultivar Nutri Honey was characteristic. It had the highest ratio concentration in shoot to concentration in root. I studied...

Kontaminace půd vybranými kovy v důsledku železniční dopravy / Contamination of soils with selected metals due to the railway transport

VONDRUŠKA, Jan January 2017 (has links)
This work deals with the determination of metals in soils taken close to the railway. Copper, zinc, nickel and chromium were selected as indicators of the environment contamination. Samples were taken from three localities in South Bohemia. These localities were chosen on the basis of different types of railway tracks (electrified and nonelectrified) and different frequency of train connection. Atomic absorption spectrometry was used for the determination of the metals. An AAS Thermo Scientific iCE 3500 spectrometer served to determine individual analytes. The highest level of copper pollution was detected for samples taken close to the railway with electrified track and with high frequency of train connection. The highest Cu concentration (66.30 mg/kg) was determined in the soil sample from 20cm depth. The highest level of zinc pollution was detected for samples taken in the distance of 3 m from the railway with electrified track and with high frequency of train connection. The highest Zn concentration (641.77 mg/kg) was determined in the soil sample from 30cm depth. The highest concentrations of other metals (Ni and Cr) were detected for the railway with nonelectrified track and with low frequency of train connection. The highest concentrations of Ni and Cr were 21.89 and 54.89 mg/kg, respectively. These concentrations were obtained for samples taken close to the railway.

Studium růstu ZnO krystalů ze supersaturovaného alkalického elektrolytu / The Study of ZnO Crystal Growth in Supersaturated Alkaline Solution

Bannert, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with the study of growth of zinc oxide crystals from supersaturated solutions using a scanning electron microscope and XRD methods. The work is divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. The theoretical part analyses issues related to the principle of operation of electrochemical cells with an emphasis on Ni-Zn batteries and phenomena limiting the life and efficiency of Ni-Zn batteries with a focus on phenomena that affect precipitation processes of zinc oxide crystals. It also analyses and compares the appropriateness of the methods that have been used to study the growth of the prepared zinc oxide crystals. The experimental part describes the preparation of a supersaturated solution, the process of each analysis and its evaluation. The results of each method are compared with the theoretical assumptions and among themselves. The experimental part also contains a chapter dealing with the design of in situ X-ray diffraction analysis methods of the obtained zinc oxide crystals.

Víceprvkové systémy biomateriálů na bázi hořčíku a zinku / Multi-element Systems of Biomaterials Based on Magnesium and Zinc

Hasoňová, Michaela January 2020 (has links)
Dissertation thesis deals with basic research in the field of materials from pure Zn powders and Mg, Zn, and Ca binary mixtures prepared by powder metallurgy. General powder metallurgy principles and methods, a brief description of Mg, Zn, and Ca structure and properties, and the latest research in the field of bulk materials preparation from these elements via powder metallurgy are summarized in the theoretical part of the thesis. The experimental part focuses on the preparation of materials from finer and coarser Zn powder particles by hot pressing at 300 and 400 °C using the pressure of 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 MPa. Binary mixtures based on Mg with the addition of Zn or Ca were prepared by hot pressing in the solid-state (300 °C) and hot pressing in the semi-solid state (400 °C, 450 °C in the case of Mg-Ca system) using the pressure of 500 MPa. Binary mixtures based on Zn with the addition of Mg or Ca were prepared by hot pressing in the semi-solid state (400 °C) using the pressure of 500 MPa. The prepared materials were evaluated in terms of microstructure, elemental and phase composition, microhardness, flexural strength, and fractography. The results showed that in the case of processed from pure Zn powders, a better combination of the flexural strength and displacement was achieved in the case of the finer Zn powder, namely in the material prepared at a temperature of 400 °C and a pressure of 500 MPa. In the case of mixtures, the best connection between the powder particles was achieved in the case of a material based on finer Zn powder with 0.5 wt.% of Mg, which had a significant effect on the achieved values of flexural strength and displacement. The amount of minor powder in the mixture had a significant effect on the prepared material structure and phase composition, while the processing conditions influenced the reached strength characteristics and fracture mechanism.
