The main objective of the Diploma thesis is to create and analyze marketing researches and evaluate its possibilities of application in reality. There are marketing and communication basics, alongside with brief introduction to Baťa’s Zlin listed in the theoretical part. The practical part of the thesis is focused on defining the methodology of the marketing researches, including its analysis. Based on these information there is a conception created. The main reason to create this conception was rising amount of houses, which are being repaired regardless of its historical value and city regulation. This concept is therefore focused on creation of alternative plan on – how to preserve unique urbanistic character of functionalistic garden city of Zlin.

The subject of thesis is an urban revitalization solutions in the territory of Zlín Film Studios, its restoration for film production and other uses. Our vision is to be achieved in this area in the form of interconnected sub-objectives of a compact and fully functional, exceptional unit with the accumulation of education, specific entrepreneurship in the audiovisual industry, a number of civic services, temporary and permanent housing and even facilities for relaxation and sports. The intention reflects the unique history to the maximum possible extent, respects the environment and the existing urban-architectural solutions and creates a new multifunctional public space.

This thesis is devoting to the history Batas city Batanagar, what was founded in India in 1934. The young managers, who passed the training in the Bata company in Zlín and at the beginning of thirties they left Czechoslovakia to India, were working there. Some families came back to Czechoslovakia after 1948, some stayed in India and some left the country to Canada or Australia. The author of thesis is focusing on memories of the children of Batas managers, who lives in Czech Republic now.

The aim is to examine the possibility of increasing surface standard with varying intensity interventions and proposals for improvement of the technical condition of the building. Suggest three basic variants of reconstruction A, B, C according to the type, shape and position of the staircase. For a detailed elaboration select one variant - C2. Designing the two approaches to improve the technical condition of the building and internal microclimate - internal and external insulation. Both approaches are compared and evaluated their pros and cons.

The thesis is focused on mapping of sport activities and physical education in Uherské Hradiště from its beginnings till present. The theoretical part deals with individual sport lines from historical perspective. Moreover, we concentrated on popular personalities of sport in Uherské Hradiště. Each personality is analyzed on the basis of his or her sporting development and achivements. The reasearch part of the thesis is focused on variety of sports that people do on regular and seasonal basis. Finally, the discussion emphasizes the benefits of this thesis in terms of its unique historical complete overview of sports in Uherské Hradiště. This diploma thesis deals with the media presentation of three chosen successes the Zlín ice-hockey club has achieved since the 1990s. The practical part is constituted by a quantitative content analysis that studies three different types of newspaper and their online counterparts (a community paper the Zlínský deník, online at: zlinsky.denik.cz, a national paper with a developed regional supplement the Mladá fronta dnes, online at: idnes.cz and a national paper the Právo, online at: sport.cz) in three periods of time (the Czech ice-hockey league finals in 1995, 2004 and 2014). The analysis studied 873 media articles in total. In general, the extent of coverage increased strongly between the years 1995 and 2004. The coverage of the finals by the community media was the most detailed, just as supposed. Quite surprising was the extent of coverage by the Mladá fronta dnes that was larger than expected. The core of sports reporting didn't really change across time, titles or information channels. The news, stories and game evaluations comprised the biggest part of the coverage. But it was the form of reporting that kept changing. The most observable trends were the growth of visual content in time and the increasing position of the Internet. Especially in 2014, its usage was quite extensive.

This thesis comprises the analysis of the issue concerning industrial parks in the Czech Republic with a major focus on the Strategic industrial zone Holešov. There is a description of establishment and support of industrial zones in the Czech Republic in the introductory part, afterwards being followed by the specification of the strategic industrial zones. Further is mentioned the basic socioeconomic characterization of the Zlín district. The practical part is then devoted directly to the Strategic industrial zone Holešov -- to the reasons which led to its establishment, to the particular stages of its development and subsequently to the possible outcomes it may have when being fully or minimally occupied. Parts of this work are also the basic over viewing information about the direct foreign investments and the investment incentives.

The thesis focuses on the photographer and lecturer Jan Regal. In the theoretical section summarizes his life and work as a photographic and educational activities. Jan Regal scope is predominantly in the Zlin region, where he comes from. The intention of this work is not only biography, but also his work in the context in the times.

The subject of thesis is urban design of the Film Studios, its recovery, opening this area to the public, the use of film themes and to design the new functional use. The area, where the Film Studios have been built, is located in the city Zlín – Kudlov. The area has size of 10,11 ha and it is defined by the built-up area in the south, north and west and from the east street Vrchy. The area is crossed by street Filmová, which is divided into two parts, on the part of the bulit-up area of the Film Studios and the undeveloped part of gardening and unmanaged areas. The vision of the project is to revitalize the area using the new functional use, simplify transport structure and supplement the existing buildings by new buildings.

This final diploma thesis deals with revitalization of Film studios in Zlín and its surroundings. On the west from solved area is forest cemetery and residential complex Fabiánka. Areal of the Film studios is from residential complex Fabiánka separated by terrain depression. The Film studios in Kudlov which is situated near to Zlín was established in thirties of last centrury, their strong side is interesting history, the natural environment and good availability from Zlin. The theme of the Film survived in the area to the present days, there are film laboratories and film secondary school. Some objects are rentes as office space, there is Zlín radio and on the northeastern part of the area is situated pharmaceutical production. The main new function witch is design is housing in apartment buildings which are completed by offices and public services witch is situated around film pedestrian zone. There is designed a new sports complex and film park with forest amphitheater, therefore it can be used by general public. In areal are functions for all age category.
