[pt] Consiste este trabalho na elaboração de um elemento finito de simples aplicação para placas e cascas. Por apresentar um campo de rotações independentes do de deslocamentos, pode se utilizar polinômios de interpolação bastante simples, tendo-se adotado os de segundo e terceiro grau. Uma penalização implícita no funcional energia total permite que, no limite para cascas finas, as hipóteses de Kirchoff – Love sejam automaticamente satisfeitas. / [en] The object of this work is the presentation of a simple triangular finite element for plates and shells. Since the rotation fields are assumed independent of the displacement fields, simple shape functions of second and third degree were used. An implicit penalty method allows one to solve thin shell problemas since the Kirchoff- Love hypothesis are automatically satisfied.
