[pt] Nesta dissertação será apresentada uma metodologia para utilização da
técnica de simulação como ferramenta de apoio à decisão na solução do problema
do dimensionamento da capacidade de armazenamento. O objeto de estudo é uma
unidade logística de armazenamento de produtos de petróleo (Terminal ou Base
de Distribuição), seja ela existente na cadeia de suprimento, ou em projeto. A
principal contribuição da metodologia apresentada deverá se traduzir em
agilidade, tanto na análise, quanto na escolha da melhor opção (quando possível)
de tancagem ou estocagem. / [en] This work is concerned with the utilization of simulation techniques as a
decision support tool for the resolution of the tank farm sizing problem and the
related decision-making process. The focus is a logistic storage facility (a terminal
or a distribution center) for oil products, supposed to be already part of the
supply-chain, or still in project. The methodology herein should provide more
agility and expertise in further analysis of results, allowing for the best choice
(when possible) for the tank farm capacity or product stock levels.
