This report is the result of the digital survey conducted during the spring at Ekåsen's nursinghome in Bankeryd. The purpose of the survey has been to find out how the business can dealwith the major challenge in terms of language, digital maturity and lack of knowledge that iscurrently seen both at Ekåsen's nursing home, but also in elderly care in general throughout Sweden. With the help of the GAP model, which helps us find out the gap between the current situationand the dream situation, the answers to the survey have shown us that there are many areas inthe business that can be developed to save time, for example by moving tasks. That time could be used to allow those who have greater knowledge to work with the nursing interventions forwhich they have been trained. The respondents have given many good concrete suggestions for improving the business, wherethe main one has been the great need for training in both digitalization and languages. Despitea low response rate, the digital survey has given us good information where the answers indicatesaturation, as the answers are very similar to each other.Through the observation of the operations and the answers to the digital survey, we havedeveloped some proposals for the development of the business, where the most commonanswers to tasks that could free up time are taken into account. One example could be that a member of staff without education can take care of laundry, instead of one with education. /
Examen i vårdadministration, YH-utbildning: 20 YH-poäng
