2013_KenideSouzaMorais.pdf: 788476 bytes, checksum: 148057349132b3a3c0720bff15162ba9 (MD5) / A pesquisa aqui apresentada foi realizada na Reserva Indígena de Dourados- RID. Buscamos apresentar a realidade vivenciada por jovens indígenas, tendo como produto
central um vídeo de curta-metragem, que apresenta um pouco da história de vida dos quatro componentes do grupo Brô MC‟s. Inicio com um breve histórico sobre a distribuição geográfica da população guarani no território brasileiro. No segundo tópico trato com um olhar mais atento a realidade da RID, transitando sobre suas formas de organização social, conflitos interétnicos e a relação com a população regional. No terceiro tópico abordo a questão da juventude indígena, suas representações diante dos mais velhos, e os desdobramentos da busca de um lugar onde sejam aceitos, interna e
externamente. O trabalho segue narrando as alternativas que esses jovens criam para se
protegerem enquanto são estigmatizados e responsabilizados por muitas coisas ruins
que venham a ocorrer nas aldeias. No quarto tópico me dedico às histórias de vida dos
Brô MC‟s e suas composições musicais, compreendendo-as em meio a um cenário de uma leitura da realidade, desta vez cantada no estilo Rap, desafiando o modelo tradicional e inovando com canções bilíngues, cantadas em Guarani e Português. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The research presented here was conducted in the indian reservation of Dourados (RID).
We aim to present the reality experienced by the younger. Our principal product was the
realization of a short film, which features the life history of the four components of the band Brô MC‟s. Our reflection starts with a brief history of the geographical distribution of the Guarani people in the Brazilian territory. In the second topic, we take a closer look at the reality of RID, with a special focus on the local forms of social
organization, inter-ethnic conflicts and the relationships with the regional population. The third topic questions how the Indian youth faces its future, how they represent themselves before the elders, and the many difficulties of seeking a place where they are accepted, internally and externally. The study follows narrating the alternatives that these young people create to protect themselves as they are stigmatized and blamed for adverse elements that occur in their villages. In the fourth and last topic, we focus on the life history of the members of the Bro MC's and their musical compositions, sung in rap musical style. We propose a reading of these texts based on local reality, and show how
they challenge the traditional models and innovate with bilingual songs, sung in Guarani and Portuguese.
