The thesis was aimed to understand the impact of labors from Zainichi Koreans(Koreans who are living in Japan) at Kyoto's textile industries (Nishijinori and Kyoyuzen) since 1945. My efforts were to focus on their process of gradual enrollments for work in those industries, to understand their work responsibilities while pursuing their labor, and to find out what eventually have driven them to move to other industries or to remain engaged within the same industry. I also focused on their roles of Korean owners’ associations in those industries and explained further about possible influences from their ethnic identity as Zainichi Korean at work. / 博士(現代アジア研究) / Doctor of Philosophy in Contemporary Asian Studies / 同志社大学 / Doshisha University
