No grupo CE houve predomínio do microuniverso místico (36,8%), seguido do heroico (21,1%), sintético (21,1%) e desestruturado (21,1%). / The purpose of this study was to investigate the daily life of a public school aiming resignify the patent and latent cultures and the school space. A total of 38 members of School Council (SC) including 3 managers, 19 teachers, 5 parents, 7 students, and 4 employees, of EE Dr. Waldemiro Naffah, situated in the São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo State, were studied. The theoretical matrices of this research included group culturanalysis by J. C. de Paula Carvalho, general theory of the imaginary by G. Durand, experimental formulation of imaginary by Y. Durand, and urban archetypal test with nine elements test (ATu-9) by D. Rocha Pitta. Using culturanalytical heuristics, the patent (chart of Malinowski and ethnographic profile) and latent (listening pedagogy, archetypal test with nine elements (AT.9) and ATu-9) cultures were mapped. The results showed that most of the members of SC is female (71%), has higher education (65.8%) and age between 14 and 59 years (mean = 39.4 years). In the group SC, there was predominance of the mythical micro-universe (36.8%), followed by heroic (21.1%), synthetic (21.1%), and unstructured (21.1%). In this group, 6 negatively structured micro-universes (2 related to mythical micro-universe, 2 to heroic, and 2 to synthetic) were identified. Among the components of SC, it was verified the predominance of synthetic micro-universe for managers, mythical for teachers, unstructured for parents and employees, and of heroic micro-universe for students. Regarding the architectural spaces, according to the quantity of citations, the analysis of the positive (life) and negative (death) semantics for the nine archetypes revealed that of the 29 environments mentioned by the members of SC, the highest incidences for positive semantics were classroom (38), library (25), sports court (25), teachers‟ room...
