Para empreendê-lo tomamos como referencial teórico a perspectiva histórica. Três capítulos foram organizados para elucidar o interesse em conhecer como nossos professores alfabetizadores estão apreendendo e transpondo para a prática as novas metodologias. Assim, no primeiro capítulo, procuramos introduzir as questões que justificaram a escolha desse tema e, no segundo, é analisado o contexto que deu substrato ao percurso engendrado pelos professores quanto à busca de novas informações metodológicas para a prática alfabetizadora. No terceiro capítulo procuramos analisar, através das contribuições dos professores, suas compreensões sobre os conceitos teóricos-metodológicos que se detacaram em suas exposições, buscando, como critério para a reflexão, a discussão do ecletismo e suas conseqüências para o trabalho pedagógico e a compreensão da função do professor na atual sociedade.
We consider this dissertation entitled: "In Search of Change: The trajectory of Alphabetizing Professors #, as a moment for the discussion and comprehension of the posture of professors who alphabetize, in the face of methodological changes that have taken place in the work with alphabetization. To undertake this task, the historical perspective was taken as theoretical reference. Three chapters were organized to elucidate the interest in knowing how our alphabetizing professors are apprehending and putting into practice the new methodologies. As such, in the first chapter, we seek to introduce the questions that justify the choice of this theme and, in the second chapter, is analyzed the context that gave substratum to the passage carved by the professors with regards to the search for new methodologies in alphabetization. In the third chapter we seek to analyze, through the professors# contributions, their understanding of the theoretic-methodological concepts that stood out in their expositions, using, as criteria for reflection, the discussion of eclecticism and its consequences for the pedagogical work and the comprehension of the professors# function in current society.
