Apoyo social y bienestar psicológico en adultos mayores que asisten a los CIAM de Lima metropolitana

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo describir la relación entre el apoyo social y el bienestar psicológico en los adultos mayores que asisten a los CIAM de Lima Metropolitana. Para ello se aplicó la Adaptación de Cuestionario de Apoyo social de Moss (Cruz, 2009) y la Adaptación española de Escala de Bienestar psicológico de Ryff (Díaz, 2006) en una muestra de 209 adultos mayores de entre 60 hasta 80 años que asisten a los CIAM de sus distritos de residencia. Se encontró una relación positiva entre ambas variables, señalando que a mayor percepción de apoyo social existirá mayor bienestar psicológico. Esto indica que los recursos emocionales y efectivos contribuyen en la sensación de bienestar y óptimo funcionamiento de los adultos mayores que formaron parte de este estudio. / The present research aimed to describe the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in older adults attending the Metropolitan Lima CIAM. For this, the Adaptation of Social Support Questionnaire of Moss (Cruz, 2010) and the Spanish Adaptation of Psychological Well-being Scale of Ryff (Díaz, 2006) were applied in a sample of 209 elderly people between 60 and 80 years old who attend the CIAMs of their residency districts. A positive relationship was found between both variables, pointing out that the higher perception of social support there will be greater psychological well-being. This indicates that emotional and effective resources contribute to the sense of well-being and optimal functioning in the elderly who were part of this study. / Tesis
