Denna studie syftar till att undersöka unga vuxnas syn på arbetslöshet, arbetspraktik och hur detta påverkar deras anställningsbarhet. Det är en kvalitativ studie som bygger på åtta könsneutrala intervjuer med unga vuxna som erfarit arbetslöshet och deltagit i arbetspraktik. Resultat och analys visar att trots de sociala strukturerna med en hög ungdomsarbetslöshet håller deltagarna sig själva som främst ansvariga för arbetslösheten. Synen på arbetspraktik är generellt sett god, men det framhålls att arbetspraktiken är i behov av förbättringar. Anställningsbarhet likställs med att hålla sig attraktiv på arbetsmarknaden och att själva ansvara för framgång och motgång, vilket kan härledas till individualiseringsteorin. Att praktik föredras i förhållande till arbetslöshet och att praktik i vissa fall upplevs höja anställningsbarheten framkommer i studien. Tydligare regler kring arbetspraktik samt en höjning av ersättningen tycks vara vägen till förbättring. / The aim of this study is to examine young adults and their views on unemployment, work practice and how this affects their employability. It´s a study with eight qualitive interviews with young adults who experienced unemployment and work practice. Result and analyze shows that despite social structure with high youth unemployment, they hold themselves responsible for their unemployment. Their view on work practice is generally speaking positive but it needs improvement. The employability is in comparison with holding themselves attractive at the labourmarket and to take a responsibility over their success and failure which derives from the individualization theory. Work practice is preferred before unemployment and in some cases work practice increases the employability. Distinct regulations regarding work practice along with increased compensation seems to be the way to improvement of the system.
