Previous issue date: 2006-03 / O presente trabalho tem como objetivo propor, desenvolver e avaliar um painel de vedação para habitações econômicas, feito de bambu. O trabalho visa contribuir, tecnicamente, com a consolidação do uso do bambu como alternativa viável na arquitetura, além de contribuir para a minimização, ainda que parcial, do problema habitacional existente no Brasil. O trabalho foi dividido em três etapas básicas. Na primeira, foi desenvolvida uma revisão da literatura sobre o tema, abordando aspectos gerais sobre os painéis pré-fabricados, sobre os bambus e os principais tipos de painéis de bambu produzidos no mundo. Na segunda etapa, apresentam-se os procedimentos experimentais, que incluem proposta arquitetônica de uma habitação econômica, bem como de painel de bambu, além das atividades de preparação do material e execução dos corpos-de-prova. Na terceira, são apresentados os resultados e análise do painel revestido com argamassa. Finalmente, são feitas as considerações finais sobre os resultados obtidos. A proposta arquitetônica do painel de bambu e a aderência da argamassa de reboco nos painéis são os principais pontos de investigação e análise da dissertação. Diante dos resultados obtidos e parâmetros analisados, na presente dissertação, conclui-se que o desempenho dos painéis argamassados mostra-se adequado para o emprego em habitações econômicas. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The present study development and available a wall for economic habitations in bamboo. Visa contributes technically with the consolidation of the use of bamboo like a practicable alternative in architecture and contribute for the minimization of the habitation trouble that there is in Brazil. The study was divided in tree basic parts. In the first part was made a literature revision about the theme, studding generals aspects of the prefabricated walls, bamboo and the main tips of bamboo walls made in the world. In the second part of study, is showed the experimental procedures that include architectonic propose for an economic habitation and the bamboo wall with it preparation activities and test walls confection. In the third part were showed the results and analyses from the wall with mortar. Finally were made the final considerations about the results obtained. The walls architectonic propose and the mortar adherences in the walls were the main points of the investigation and analyses from dissertation. In front of the results and parameters analyzed, in the study, conclude that the redemption of the mortared walls showed adequate for the utilization in economical habitation.
