Forskningsfrågor: 1: Hur arbetar serviceförvaltningens ekonomiska verksamhet med digitaliseringen i Stockholms kommun? 2: Vilka framtida möjligheter och utmaningar föreligger vid digitaliseringen inom förvaltningen i uppsatsens studie? 3: Vad finns det för för- och nackdelar med arbetssättet i och med digitaliseringen inom serviceförvaltningen? Syfte: Syftet med studien är att kartlägga och analysera erfarenheter från digitaliseringen i serviceförvaltningen i Stockholms kommun, dess framtida möjligheter och utmaningar, hur serviceförvaltningens ekonomiska verksamhet arbetar med digitaliseringen samt vilka för- och nackdelar det finns. Metod: I uppsatsen användes en kvalitativ metod. Datainsamling gjordes genom intervjuer med kommunalt ansvariga och medarbetare inom den ekonomiska verksamheten i serviceförvaltningen. Slutsatser: Handlingsstyrning som anses byråkratiskt sker inom serviceförvaltningen och försvårar digitaliseringens framfart. Utmaningen blir att behålla mänskliga tjänster på avdelningen. Som fördelar och som möjligheter är alla nya sätt som digitaliseringen erbjuder och effektiviserar verksamheten. Nackdelarna är den fysiska hälsoaspekten. / Research questions: 1. How does the economic activity of the service administration work with digitalization in Stockholm municipality? 2. What future opportunities and challenges exist in the digitalisation of the administration in the study? 3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of working with digitalization in the service administration? Purpose: The purpose of the study is to map and analyze experiences from the digitalization in the service administration in Stockholm municipality, its future opportunities and challenges, how service economics work with digitalization and what advantages and disadvantages there are. Method: The thesis used a qualitative management method. Data collection was done through interviews with municipal managers and employees in the finance department who run financial activities in service administration. Conclusions: Action control that is considered bureaucratic takes place within the service administration and makes the progress of digitization more difficult. The challenge will be to retain human services in the department. As benefits and opportunities are all new ways that digitalization offers and streamlines operations.
