Sammanfattning Bakgrund: Palliativ vård syftar till att lindra lidande samt främja livskvaliteten hos patienter med obotliga sjukdomar. Inom palliativ vård är det viktigt att tillämpa ett personcentrerat förhållningssätt för att främja patientens delaktighet i sin vård. Genom att förse patienten med information erhålls den kunskap hos patienten som behövs för att vara delaktig i vårdbesluten. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva patienters upplevelser av delaktighet inom palliativ vård. Metod: En kvalitativ litteraturöversikt med induktiv ansats har tillämpats, där det baserades på 12 vetenskapliga artiklar. Dessa vetenskapliga artiklar var från år 2011–2023. Databaserna som användes var Medline, Cinahl och Pubmed, samt Fribergs fem stegs-analysmetod. Resultat: I litteraturöversikten framkom två huvudteman: “kommunikation” och “beslutsfattande”. Utifrån huvudteman framkom följande subteman: “information”, “det goda samtalet”, “självbestämmande”, “delat beslutfattande” och “beslut från vårdpersonalen/närstående”. I resultatet framkom att kommunikation och information var viktiga komponenter för patienter i det palliativa skedet, samt vikten av att anpassa kommunikation och information efter patienternas behov. Det framkom även att patienterna hade olika åsikter angående mängden av deltagande i beslutfattandet. Slutsats: Inom palliativ vård visade resultatet att patienterna har olika upplevelser av sin delaktighet i vården. Resultatet visade även att information och kommunikation var en grund för att möjliggöra delaktighet. Patienterna upplevde att delaktigheten främjades när sjuksköterskan gav de relevant information samt att sjuksköterskan kommunicerade patienternas önskemål och behov. In palliative care, it is important to apply a person-centred approach to promote the patient's participation in their care. By providing the patient with information, the patient receives the knowledge needed to participate in care decisions. Purpose: The purpose was to describe patients' experiences of participation in palliative care. Method: A qualitative literature review with an inductive approach has been applied, where it was based on 12 scientific articles. These scientific articles were from the years 2011-2023. The databases used were Medline, Cinahl and Pubmed, as well as Friberg's five-step analysis method Results: In the literature review, two main themes emerged: "communication" and "decision-making". Based on the main themes, the following sub-themes emerged: "information", "the good conversation", "self-determination", "shared decision-making" and "decisions from the care staff/next of kin". The results showed that communication and information were important components for patients in the palliative stage, as well as the importance of adapting communication and information to the patients' needs. It also emerged that patients had different opinions regarding the amount of participation in decision-making. Conclusion : Within palliative care, the results showed that patients have different experiences of their participation in care. The result also showed that information and communication were a basis for enabling participation. The patients felt that participation was promoted when the nurse gave them relevant information and that the nurse communicated the patient’s desideratum and needs.
