The purpose of the essay is to examine different people's experiences of the home and their experiences in terms of how working life and the work situation have been affected during the Covid-19 pandemic. The questions answered in this essay are how the role of the home has changed during the Covid-19 pandemic, and how people's working lives have been affected during the Covid-19 pandemic. This topic is important and interesting to study to understand how the importance of the home, people's work life and work situation have been affected during the covid-19 pandemic. This essay has been based on a mixed method, this means that both a qualitative and a quantitative method have been used. Two qualitative interviews and a survey have been conducted, and used together with previous studies to answer the essay's questions. The research's conclusions have shown, among other things, that the home has been given a changed role during the Covid-19 pandemic, and that it has shifted from being a place for recreation and rest to a workplace. In addition, people's working lives have been affected in many different ways, some consequences can be considered positive and others negative. The benefits are, for example, more flexible working hours and employees does not have to travel to and from work. But the disadvantages are, for example, that the contact at work can become more complex and the work from home can be seen as a kind of isolation.
