to other?s demand, as it happens in the urgency and emergency hospital context. This
Dissertation aims to comprehend the nurse?s experience in this labor scenario, wich is
marked by complex tensioning between the work conditions offered to the professional and
what is demanded to the subject to an appropriate realization of the urgency and emergency
care to the other. For this purpose, this study is formed by two Sections. The Theoretical
Section includes the discussion about the care experience done in this context characterized
by the precarious work conditions and marked by particular requirements of the ready
reception of the population?s urgency and emergency necessities. Psychoanalysis offers the
theoretical foundations to problematize the care to the caregiver, as it articulates the
indispensable subjective and psychic conditions present in the work scenario and inherent
aspects to the care exercise, which extrapolate the technic skills. To correspond the
population?s assistance demands, the constantly request of readiness in work and a strict
performance of their technical expertise concern to the nurses. Among the obstacles which
characterize this work context, the precarious work condition and the difficulties of its
structural complexity are highlighted. To offer care in this circumstances, the work
experience extrapolates the exclusive technical preparation and restrict to the focus of
prescriptions compliance. Within this perspective, it is crucial that the professional take care
of himself and accept being cared to handle his attributions and can offer to another one a
genuine care, free of excess and impositions. In the Empirical Section, many ways of work
rhythms that make the care experience and the routine of nurses who work in urgency and
emergency sectors of a hospital in Rio Grande do Sul are noted. By the Interpretative
Analysis Method, the narratives of eight participants who had been interviewed are analyzed.
From the obtained data in the interviews, it is highlighted the relevance of the institutional
implication to work appreciation and to the recognition of the pertinence of taking care of the
caregiver. The accomplishment of this study, having the contribution of the foundations of
psychoanalytical theory concerning the facts that embrace the care practice, has provided
further comprehension to aspects involved in care experience work directed to other?s
urgency and emergency. Taking in consideration that the workers subjectivity is requested to
solve the work impasses, when the prescribed action is not enough, the resources of the own
subject appears and allow the care realization from creative and sensible solutions to other?s
demand. For this purpose, it is essential that the professional suffer can be legitimated, as
well as his work appreciated and noted. Therefore, it is indispensable an offer of reflexion
spaces in work context in order to host the worker singularity, taking place, from this process,
the effective implementation of implicit conditions to mutual care. / Nas profiss?es destinadas ao exerc?cio do cuidado, a subjetividade do profissional pode estar
especialmente voltada ?s demandas do outro, como ocorre no contexto hospitalar de urg?ncia
e emerg?ncia. Nesta Disserta??o, objetiva-se a compreens?o acerca da experi?ncia de
enfermeiros neste cen?rio laboral marcado por complexos tensionamentos entre as condi??es
de trabalho oferecidas ao profissional e o que ? demandado do sujeito para a adequada
efetiva??o do cuidado ?s urg?ncias e emerg?ncias do outro. Para tanto, este estudo ?
composto por duas Se??es. Na Se??o Te?rica, contempla-se a discuss?o sobre a experi?ncia
de cuidado realizada neste contexto marcado pela precariedade das condi??es de trabalho e
por exig?ncias pr?prias para o pronto acolhimento das necessidades de urg?ncia e emerg?ncia
da popula??o. A Psican?lise oferece os alicerces te?ricos para a problematiza??o do cuidado
voltado ao cuidador, ao articular as imprescind?veis condi??es subjetivas e ps?quicas
presentes no cen?rio laboral e aspectos inerentes ao exerc?cio do cuidado, os quais
extrapolam as aptid?es t?cnicas. Para corresponder ?s demandas de assist?ncia a popula??o,
sobre os enfermeiros incidem as exig?ncias de constante prontid?o no trabalho e o
desempenho rigoroso de sua expertise t?cnica. Dentre os entraves que caracterizam este
ambiente de trabalho, ressalta-se a precariedade das condi??es laborais e as dificuldades
advindas de sua complexidade estrutural. Para a oferta de cuidado nessas circunst?ncias, a
experi?ncia laboral extrapola o preparo exclusivamente t?cnico e o restrito foco no
cumprimento das prescri??es. Nesta perspectiva, ? imprescind?vel o profissional cuidar-se e
aceitar ser cuidado para dar conta de suas atribui??es e oferecer a outro um cuidado genu?no,
livre de excessos e imposi??es. Na Se??o Emp?rica, constatam-se as diversas modalidades de
ritmos laborais que comp?em a experi?ncia de cuidado e a rotina dos enfermeiros que
trabalham nos setores de urg?ncia e emerg?ncia em um hospital do Rio Grande do Sul. Por
meio do M?todo An?lise Interpretativa, s?o analisadas as narrativas de oito participantes
entrevistados. A partir dos dados obtidos nas entrevistas, destaca-se a relev?ncia da
implica??o institucional para a valoriza??o do trabalho e para o reconhecimento da
pertin?ncia do cuidado voltado ao cuidador. A realiza??o deste estudo, tendo como aporte os
fundamentos da teoria psicanal?tica a respeito de fatores que envolvem a pr?tica do cuidado,
propiciou o aprofundamento da compreens?o de aspectos implicados na experi?ncia do
trabalho de cuidado voltado ?s urg?ncias e emerg?ncias do outro. Tendo em vista que a
subjetividade do profissional ? convocada a resolver os impasses do trabalho, quando a a??o
prescrita ? insuficiente, os recursos pr?prios do sujeito entram em cena e permitem a
efetiva??o do cuidado a partir de solu??es criativas e sens?veis ? demanda do outro. Para
tanto, ? essencial que o sofrimento do profissional seja legitimado, assim como o seu trabalho
seja valorizado e reconhecido. Conclui-se, assim, ser imprescind?vel a oferta de espa?os de
reflex?o no ambiente laboral a fim de que ocorra o acolhimento ? singularidade do
profissional, decorrendo deste processo a efetiva implementa??o de condi??es impl?citas ?
mutualidade de cuidado.
